diggyb - id suggest provape to get your provari. thats who make 'em.

btw, thanks all for the steeping advice. i now have future reference. might look into getting a UC to make the process faster.

vape on! :vapor:

If you do, try to get one with a 30 minute timer, not a 3 minute one. Same price, but a HUGE difference in the amount of fuss.

Thanks. I already have all the appropriate chemistry gear, back from my days playing with perfume oils and shea butter. (No, I'm not DustyZ posting under a different account.) :)

So pretty much all I need is base, nic, flavor, bottles to put it in, and to set aside the time.

Dang it, now I have to go check to see if I am who I thought I was!:shock::img:

Unhappy with my selections from mbv.

Did I choose terrible juices, or is mbv not for me?

I got 30 ml bottles of the following:

Texas sweet tea (70/30 dw h2o)
Rum tobacco
Vanilla tobacco
Thug juice
Hawk sauce
Zinger
Cake (yellow cake)

None impressed me. Taste is subjective. What I like, you may not... and vice versa.

I shared the order with my son's, one who likes menthol likes the hawk sauce and thug juice.

The rum tobacco and vanilla tobacco have ZERO tobacco flavor to me, zero.

The cake taste chemically, the zinger not horrible, taste like lemon...citrus...

The sweet tea taste like sugar water. Just sweet no other flavors.

They're fresh still... about 10 days old now, no change in flavor.

Left the caps off overnight, let them sit in a hot tap water bath for 4+ hours changing water when it cooled down and shaking bottles each water change...and let them sit for over a week... still unimpressed.

How many flavor shots did you get?

Some folks really like MBV tobaccos, some don't. The MBV tobaccos that I like need a *really* long steep - even with speed steeping, mine have still needed several weeks to get to good.

Cake (Yellow) - that chemical flavor means it could use a couple of days of "pop the cap and the drip tip off, squish the bottle until the air in it has changed out, then put the caps back on and shake". That will usually kill the chemical taste.

(Haven't tried the others on your list, so I can't comment on them.)

I do have a couple of bottles of MBV juice that still taste horrid to me - but that's a very, very small percentage of the ones I own. (I'm looking at you, pineapple upside down cake.)

But, ultimately, the right juice for you is juice that you like. There's no requirement to love juice from any particular vendor. :)

I use Windows 8 on three different machines and love it.

Get your IT team to move you to Windows 8.1. And if you don't have a touch screen, have them set it up to boot directly to the desktop.

I have used 8.1 on my virtual boxes, tablets, desktop computers and laptops.

I've just made a couple of the folks on my IT team move to Windows 8.1. They both hated it the first day - and it's been growing on them. It definitely requires either training or a willingness to research and experiment.

I also remember when everyone who had to use it hated Windows 7. :D

I'm just happy to have avoided Vista and 8 (at least so far).
This puter is 64 bit and the old one was/is 32 bit and what a difference.

Ok, remind me never to leave the forum for a few hours on a weekend. I'm going to start having to practice Seanchai's mass quote reply style to catch up!

On topic: vaping Bananas Foster. Yes, the same bottle that a couple of months ago I was asking how long I should expect it to steep, and when the chemical taste would go away, and what to mix in with it to make it yummy.

This is a 65/35 +0 sample in 18mg. Born on 9/19/2013. I made notes in my "do I love it" and "how much steeping time does it need" spreadsheet that says this one needed about 45 days - after a couple of hours in the UC.

I was wrong. Somewhere between those 45 days it went from "ok" to "yummy" - the banana mellowed out considerably, and it now tastes very much like actual bananas foster.

I think it's going to get mixed with yellow cake next time around. I want a little bit more bakery in it.

I have many of those but haven't tried them yet. I order at least a month ahead of time.
The tobaccos can take up to 2 months to taste right.
I take the caps off and squeeze a little to get air in the first 48 hours, twice a day.
I also shake my juices daily.
But you do need to steep the more complex juices and the tobaccos for at least
4 weeks. The simpler stuff - some they say are good straight out of the package,
others just a few days.

Honestly I don't know anyone who ever hated Windows 7. Windows Vista? definitely. Windows 8 is a transitional O.S and because of that too many compromises were made. I know some people will like it just like they did Vista, but I am not one of them. I have not checked out Mavericks yet, I still need to update the Macbook Pro.

Hey Khala, just thought you might like to know that it's never a good idea to leave the forum for any length of time on the weekends. Damn this Rainbow Sherbet, love this stuff...... :p
