will keep that in mind, thank you. :) do you know of a place online i can get one for a decent price?

The last few pages in this thread have some good recommendations -

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...eeping-times-ultrasonic-cleaner-part-iii.html

I have a 3 minute $30 el cheapo from Harbor Freight.
I use an elastic band holding a piece of dog food kibble to hold the on button down.
I run it for 30-45 minutes at a time with no fuss.
I've been abusing my UC this way for over 6 months so I'd say I got my moneys worth.

I'm using the UC to speed up the steep on my Pink Champagne born 12/21. 4... 45 minute sessions so far.

I wanna celebrate tomorrow for being 5 months smoke free.:vapor:

EDIT...
oh, just noticed it goes by the actual date, not the number of weeks........so New Years day is my 5 month :(
oh well......

You haven't met some of the die hards in our office who still cling to XP... :)

Maverick is getting good reviews at our place, once we were able to verify that all our software would run on it.

I never liked XP as much as many people did though it was never really the O.S. itself that I didn't like, just a lot of memory-leaky-software written for it.

As to Windows 95, I used it back in the day because some of my games required it, that was the only reason. It crashed a lot. :p Windows 98 SE was much better. I skipped Millennium, heard it was pretty awful. The Windows 2000 server edition was rock solid as far as I can remember, never had issues with it.

Dang it, now I have to go check to see if I am who I thought I was!:shock::img:

It's ok Dusty. We all know if you made a 2nd 'undercover' account it would be PomZ

I've just made a couple of the folks on my IT team move to Windows 8.1. They both hated it the first day - and it's been growing on them. It definitely requires either training or a willingness to research and experiment.

I also remember when everyone who had to use it hated Windows 7. :D

Win7 was a welcome relief after that disaster they called Vista.

Honestly I don't know anyone who ever hated Windows 7. Windows Vista? definitely. Windows 8 is a transitional O.S and because of that too many compromises were made. I know some people will like it just like they did Vista, but I am not one of them. I have not checked out Mavericks yet, I still need to update the Macbook Pro.

Ditto. Vista was one of the worst ones they released that ever took hold.

I recall the big hullabaluu over win 95...........clic the "start" to begin :).........then again I recall, nope.... lost it !!! neber mind :)

That reminds me of a joke from that era:

God calls Boris Yeltsin, Bill Clinton & Bill Gates to his office. "I've called you three important men here to deliver some grave news. The world is going to end in 3 days. Go back & tell your people."

Yeltsin goes back to Russia, "Russians, I have some bad news & some worse news. First off, we were wrong, there is a god & secondly the world is going to end in 3 days. Go prepare yourselves."

Clinton goes back to the US, "Americans, I have some good news & some bad news. First, we were right, there is a god & secondly the world is going to end in 3 days. Go prepare yourselves."

Gates goes back to Microsoft, "Microsoft, I have some great news & some even better news! First, God thinks I'm important! Second, after all these delays, we don't have to release 95!!"

I never liked XP as much as many people did though it was never really the O.S. itself that I didn't like, just a lot of memory-leaky-software written for it.

XP had that same effect as Vista to Win7. 95 was bad, 98 was a bit better, but XP actually worked... most of the time. :D

I recall way back in 84,... 85 ?? when we loaded software from a R O M cartridge similar to a 8 track tape.( Tandy 1000 ) A Floppy disc was exactly that, flimsy and floppy. You had to hook the PC to a television as a monitor.
We have come a looong way in 25 or so years. The improvements will come ever faster and faster now with computers helping to design computers and software for those computers. :2c:

Yep. My first system was a Commodore 64 with a tape drive. Had friends with Apples, and TRS 80's. :p In school we learned to program on Apple IIE's (I think, I can't remember which version it was for sure).

So I had 5 bucks left over from my Amazon gift card and noticed the 28 gauge kanthal had dropped back down in price from 15-17 dollars or whatever it was to 7. So I ordered it. Now I will have almost 200 feet of wire. That should last a while unless I decide to wrap the whole place in kanthal. :D

Oh the days :) I got to play with the Macintoshes & Commies, but didn't actually get a machine until 89 (maybe early 90?). It was an IBM compatible, 386 with a turbo boost!! It ran at 8 MHz & the turbo changed the light to 20 MHz, but I don't think it actually did anything :D We were big pimpin with the new state of the art Windows 3.0!

Vic 20 with a tape drive.

My parents tried to talk me into the Vic 20, next door neighbor had one. I am SOOO glad I held out for the Commodore 64 even if I did get stuck with a tape drive the first year I had it. I had that Commodore 64 for years and remember spending hours upon hours playing Maniac Mansion on it, programming, and getting online. It opened up a whole new world for me.
