My MBV order came today yay! I'm gonna live dangerously and try them all straight out of the mailbox.

:vapor:

P.S. Hi James.

Mine came today as well! I got moo juice, blue moo, cheesecake, and he sent me a sample that's hard to read. It looks like it says spurberry. I can't seem to find that on the website or anything. Any ideas? I found one named spurbury, but that's it. I don't have a choice but to try mine right out of the mailbox because I am just about out. It sucks I never really get a chance to let my juice steep how it should. If I could get ahead just ONCE with my juice then I'd be able to place orders that would be able to steep. Ahhh, some day!

Hrm. Haven't tried any of those. If Cinnamon Roll is anywhere as tasty as Sticky Bun, you're gonna need more.

Sticky Bun is made with Cinnamon Roll and Caramel Candy, so yes, it's tasty. Ditto Spearmint and Dragonfruit. Can't speak to Butter Pecan, but I'm sure that's good too based on the number of folks here who like it.

Every now and again i get a juice from mtbaker and it's very clear and clean and tastes great. But it's been a while, do you guys know of a great juice like this off the top of your head?

Without actually getting up to get my juices out - my candy cane in 18mg is clear and clean.
My pink champagne just has a hint of color to it. And I think it was thug juice that's
tinted just a bit. All are in 12 or 18 mg

Spurburry is a nice juice, a sort of fruit cocktail. Reminds me of Thug Juice a bit. I have about 15ml left of the stuff, I really should add some menthol. It's a good juice, but just not amazing. I find I like my fruity juices very flavorful and sweet. Bakery styles I tend to like a bit more muted. Let that one steep for sure, it gets much better after a week or more. I've found that leaving my new bottles on my desktop tower, near the fan, helps steep them quickly. I think it's the tiny vibrations from the fan that helps to mix as it sits. No clue, but it works.

That explains it! I love caramel, no wonder I can't stop vaping Sticky Bun. It's also my lady's fave, got her a 50ml bottle for Christmas and she's already vaped about a third of the stuff.

Ok I guess I"ll order some caramel candy tomorrow. I got a big bottle of cinnamon roll, I can mix my own sticky bun.

Yup - Red Dwarf is another one. Ubiquitous with BBC Sci-Fi for many years, Red Dwarf single-handedly turned me off to the BBC for years. :)

I consider myself a big Sci-Fi fan - in theory, anyway. The thing is, I have a really hard time finding stuff worth watching. I've never been a Star Trek or Star Wars guy.

Aside from DW, I think BSG is the only Sci-Fi TV series I've ever enjoyed.

I like the deep-space drama/suspense type stuff (pandorum, sunshine, mission to mars etc..), more than the action/adventure type stuff...though I've quite enjoyed the most recent Star Trek reboots.

I've never been much of a Sci-Fi person (I always was more into the fantasy stuff) but I love me some Star Wars. I was really hesitant to watch BSG at first, but I started out with the Caprica series & I was just hooked. Epic series. The other one I really liked was Firefly/Serenity, but they're more like a western that just happens in space if that makes any sense.

maybe marshmallow? btw, love the song about you.

That's not about him... that's about his imposter! It's not called Real Plastic Trees :p

Nice turnings people!!!
I have a lathe, hats off to you turners. My lathe turns me into a raging maniac who spends all his time cursing knives and pieces of wood. I bought a One Way at an auction, I know I am not fighting a bad lathe, just bad turning skills. I have way better luck with furniture and cabinetry. I have been able to make a few pens that have come out decent enough. The last one I did was out of reclaimed long leaf pine. I gifted it back to the guy who supplies all of the long leaf I used to use for flooring/trim and cabinets.

I've never turned on a One Way, but I've heard they're one of the best lathes on the market, hands down. My primary is an older Delta IronBed 14x40.

Turning is for the crazy sect of the woodworking community. Yeah, we spin wood around really, really fast, then jab razor sharp pieces of metal into it... on purpose! :D I find it super relaxing, actually. But I do get quite the chuckle when very experienced cabinet makers walk up to one. Their joinery skills are a sight to behold, but at a lathe they're just dangerous to everyone within 30' of them. There's very, very few people who have serious skills at both.

I'm using a cheap Harbor Freight lathe. It does good for what it is. It's just something I like to play around with. A Oneway would be nice to have.

Which one? I started on their midi green one, 10x18 I think. As far as HF crap goes, it's the best tool they make. Read: it actually works. :D

Just the little 8 X 12. I got it to make pens on and as something to play with. It actually does work very well, just a bit underpowered.
