Corded tools would have been nice when I made cocobolo and bubinga boxes with hand cut dove tails.
One whack with the mallet and my shavable chisels became old time hockey smiles.
I quit sharpening them and just hit harder. It worked but no more hand cut bubinga thanks anyway lol.

I like working with mahogany
functional breadboard ends with working ebony splines :)

Very nice, I'm a huge fan of Greene & Greene.

What's not fun is boring into end grain with 1 3/8" forstner bits.
Here's a pencil cup made from some 60+ year old mahogany.
It was being used as floorboards upstairs in a barn.
It was actually an unidentifable gray wood they were going to toss.
They ran some through a planer to see what it was and the angels sang.
That was in the 60s so the tree must have been cut for lumber much more than 60 years ago.
Maybe more than 100.
Nothing special about the cup without the story.

I made about a dozen travel mugs from different woods.
Burned through various sized forstner bits. oh well. no more end grain projects.
It's a smokey frustrating job but my travel mugs rock.

Save the Forstner's!!! That's why we have deep fluted gouges & adjustable tool rests!

Yeah, I was thinking the coil could look better :) Thanks :toast:
It certainly doesn't look bad. I think my first set up looked worse
Ok thanks...is that second link the same thing as what MBV offers?
Well, yes and no. They are both nic bases. Each vendor offers different PG/VG ratios, and the MFS nic seems to be only available in strengths of 24mg and higher. MBV offers nic base with lower strength options. This is just my opinion, but I would suggest starting with the lower strength MBV nic base in the closest PG/VG ratio that you vape so that you only have to make small adjustments. Dealing with really high strength nic base will require bigger adjustments, which might be a bit confusing when you're just beginning. At least, that's how I first tackled DIY.
You do beautiful work Mowgli, I am truly envious :)
+1....Really nice work Mowgli

That really is great :) Wood is already nicer than metal in a lot of instances, then adding a story makes it that much better.

I don't have the eJuice Me Up Calculator installed on the iPad to double check for you, but the only way you will be sure of your percentages is to download it and use it. It's an indispensable tool for DIY...

I did download that but Im just confused cause I just want to make sure if all I have to do is add flavoring...I dont want to poison my stupid self! LOL I like to make sure exactly what Im doing before trying anything new that is why I am asking so many questions.

Is there an RBA like the IGO-L that has holes in the posts? I don't care for wrapping around the posts.

I just ordered an igo-w, which technically is made for dual coils, but I prefer single so I am going to use my igo-l top cap with one air flow hole on the igo-w so I can have post holes but just use it in single coil mode. Hope that helps :)

Ummmm do you mean you are just putting one coil on the IGO-w and then use the -L cap.

Pic is so small when I made the hat small it just looked like a ... hat. If you want to post
a bigger pic I'll do it again. I can enlarge this one but you lose something in doing it that way.
I gave you fireworks =)

Why does the plane not have a hat?? Tis a very sad plane. :(

I see :)

Unless you're startin' with higher than 24mg/ml actual poisoning isn't really an issue ;)

Stone probably got you pretty close reading that post, just usin' rough numbers...

The calculator is fantastic when you get the hang of it :)
