you prolly have probs cuz it's the boonies. here, you get the "5 windows, only 1 is open and it's too damn bad that the lobby is full cuz we are only allowed to work so hard and as English is our 2nd language we will pretend we don't understand you if you are unhappy with this" folks.

our delivery lady is sweet. unfortunately she is the same age as a lot of the folks who live here. this is housing for elderly/disabled people. she seems to know everyone, and instead of dropping off the mail, she has to chat with everyone and make plans for the evening. in her defense, she is being angelic to some lonely people here. on the other hand, i'm sitting there trying to pretend that i don't want her to shut the heck up and put my vapemail in the damn box!

It's not because it's the boonies, it's because they're damned lazy & have no work ethic what so ever. There's not a lot of people who live out here & not a whole lot of mail passes through. They just don't care, if they actually do some work, they get a paycheck. If they sit around & don't do anything at all, they get that same paycheck. If only it were something like vapemail instead of something I need to make a living. If it's not there in the morning, I'm going to start working my way up the chain until someone gets fired. Then they'll have it in the budget to hire a monkey or 2.

Watching Doctor Who "Astronaut". Newegg still hasn't fixed that Spa gift certificate I got my wife. sigh. Have to wait another 2 days. Ridiculous.
LOL...you just made me go look at the site. I've never looked at anything other than 'puters and electronics on Newegg!! I should pay closer attention to my surroundings :p

Hope they fix the problem for you soon, though.

So I tried out a microcoil/cotton build on my Igo-L today. Dripped Johnny Chimpo. Was actually pretty nice. First few hits I thought tasted like cotton, but that could just be psychological, all is well now. Was actually pretty easy to wick. It's also the first time I've built a microcoil for the Igo. Thanks to all who persuaded me to try it :)

I had to sell my 1945 Unisaw with original goose egg motor cover, Beismeyer fence, Bully Dog extension/router table, rebuilt arbor/bearings/machined pulley, etc,
my Delta 8" DJ20 Jointer with 2HP Baldor motor,
my Baldor 1/2 speed grinder, 1962 Rockwell lathe, my Powermatic belt sander,
um, I'm gonna stop now

I feel your pain. Years ago, I had a full blown woodworking shop and was doing more furniture building than anything. One Monday morning I walked into the shop and discovered someone else liked my tools more than I did. They walked out, well probably not walked, with everything ... including my tooth brush. Don't ask. I was devastated. About 6 months later, I was offered a job with a custom yacht builder building cabinets and built-ins. Probably the most enjoying job I've ever had. That's when I really got into the cordless tools ... wood handled chisels I could shave with, a collection of Japanese saws, way too many planes, etc., but my favorite was an old Stanley cabinet scraper. Nothin' more relaxing than drawing it across a piece of mahogany or teak and watching the wood sparkle and come to life. You don't even come close with sandpaper.

A place some call paradise
I haven't placed an order in at least a week. I'm proud of myself but I'm itching for it again. Did uno ever show up to tell us if were allowed to discuss trading or pif'ing here or not?
Just switched from moo to blue moo. I'm hooked. Dream bar has taken a very far backseat to these two but it still travels in my vape case (or smack pack as my wife likes to call it). I'm trying to stop myself from messing with a good thing and just stick to those three but I've realized that's a lost cause. With a sale coming up tomorrow looks like I'll be giving into the cinnamon roll trend and tacking a vanilla on to find out if it's better than whipped cream as a mixer.

I used to buy a lot of computer stuff through the egg too ... until they stuck me with some software that they had issued an RMA on. Back then, everything was in house but it seems like they're branching out trying to be another mini Amazon or buy.com. Part of the problem is that they may be dealing with another supplier instead of making good on it themselves. Hope it gets resolved for you quickly.

Got my vapemail in today as well :mail: plus, I placed another order but I have made an early resolution that I'm not going to buy anything else until next year. I just hope I have the will power.

You can discuss it I guess, but you aren't allowed to trade just via normal forums per se. Use the pif ones. Hopefully someone will link it as I'm on my phone..

Congrats :thumb: It is easy to wick. If you're using cotton balls, every once in awhile you'll use too much cotton or not enough but I'm guessing that will be an easy learning curve for you.

So.....was I right? Will you now abandon silica?? :D

You will enjoy it and if you anything like me you won't be able to go back to silica! The other day I was bored so I had made me a build with silica and it was nowhere close. I like it cause all you have to do is slide it out and replace it without having to do a whole to rebuild. So far I have a coil that is going on a month!
