I think it's more the regulation of the eliquid that threatens vaping.

Possibly, but I wasn't comparing or suggesting one was more or less likely. They have given themselves the power to pull the plug on the whole deal if they want to, likelihood or not. There's plenty of other reasons to do it, even if your interest isn't in self-reliance. My point was that it's super easy & not that expensive to get into.

DIY juice is a good idea as well. I don't do it yet, but I have supplies if I need to.

Oh and carmel coffee.

I might need to let it steep some more. I get no carmel or coffee flavor with it now. I mixed whipped cream with what was in the protank just to make it easier to vape.

Jury is still out.

My bottle is plenty steeped and I just started vaping it this morning.
I get caramel and coffee but uhm.............
Don't think it will be a re-order. Might be okay mixed with WC. Haven't
tried that yet.

I gotcha. You know big tobacco is going ape-poo over this and wants a hold on it.

I'm just facing a lot of struggling and by the end of the day all I want to do is sit and vape. At the moment, however interesting, the thought of building anything just sounds like it's going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Which I know is probably unfair seeing as I haven't even tried. Which is why I want to have a good stock of new ones but also save the old ones so that, when the mood strikes, I'm ready to learn.

Lotta truth here. And honestly, nothing vapes like a RDA or RBA. Cartos come close. I'd love to know what mech/mod you found that only requires a one time investment, though. Haha. I have a K-100 that is my workhorse, and after six months, it's looking a little rough, although working like a charm. I guess it could last indefinitely if I keep it maintained, but I've already bought another mech and will be picking up a new K-100 here in the next week or two.

*grumbles something about stupid China and slow boats and his Tobeco KFL*

If it's flooding both the coil and the positive post, then the head might not be screwed in tight enough...or the head itself is jacked up. He might need to replace the head.

Teenybopper + nsync = peed pants. Come on, you really didn't get it? Here I thought I was being clever. Maybe I should've referenced the biebs instead.

I think we figured it out though it seems weird as I can't find other people claiming this problem but then again he thinks he's the world's smartest techie and the authority on everything ever so...yeah :)

The issue seems to be that he is temporarily using his PTII on my twist VV batteries and that the air flow gets blocked and limited by the way the battery screws into the tank. This limited air flow then creates a vacuum and pulls more liquid into the center tube and thus...the mouth. The solution, then, was to loosen the battery just a bit and it seems to be working. I dunno. No one else seems to be reporting this issue but then again I don't think many ppl are using a full size PTII on a little twist battery (it's temporary until his vamo arrives which he has been waiting weeks for because he ordered it straight from China for dirt cheap) and maybe the thinness of the ecto is also exacerbating the problem.

I got it :) it's been awhile since I've seen an NSYNC reference, though

I'm glad he figured it out. Hope the Vamo arrives soon...

I got into rebuilding for the fun of it. One of my dirty little sekrits, I like stock Kanger heads, they work, and they are great for on the go when I do not have the time or inclination to mess with anything. ProTanks are Go!!!
I loved the old Metallica, some people think they sold out, I think they got old :) I still listen to them, I got old too.

A decent cover, not wrecked, by a decent band:

Yeah, the whole Anti-Piracy thing that Lars was on about lost them a lot of popularity. Shame too because their concerts and music is still awesome. Maybe I'm old, but I haven't heard much in the way of good music being produced these days.

Damn, suddenly feeling older than I want to. Getting to the point where ppl telling me I look younger than I am is a compliment. Creeping...ever...closer...to...30.

EDIT: It arrived in Los Angeles on Monday finally. I ordered my setup from MVS a week after he ordered his and have now had it for like 3 weeks. It was more expensive but America...hell yeah!

I'm not one of those that enjoys coil rebuilding, but it has saved us some money. a 100' roll of Kanthal on Amazon is like 8 dollars. That plus a few bucks for some cotton. And it has paid for itself in a month
