The other good thing about them is if you can't eat them all, you can use what is left over as Thinset! lol When I got stationed to Ft. Sill, I had asked one of the cooks if they had grits and he looked at me like I was an alien, didn't have a clue what they were! I was actually a bit surprised that he didn't know what they were though. Again, I can only eat them that one way, loads of bacon.

Bacon has the unfair advantage of making ANYTHING taste better, though. Especially when you pile it on. Damn, now I want bacon.

I can't eat oatmeal from rolled oats these days - way too much of it as a kid when my parents were trying to put some weight on me.

Steel cut (aka Irish) is a whole different animal, and one of the only breakfast foods that I can stand to put in my mouth.

property update.. the guy finally called.. he's got a bite that has to put cash down tomorrow or we're next in line.. the kid has agreed to go and look tomorrow if necessary.. bring that new fangled cell phone camera thingee.. do an actual wheel chair friendly inspection.. I'm stoked! The other folks that he has in queue before us are from Nebraska.. wish he gave me their email.. I'd scare em with hurricanes and sink holes ~evil grin~
vape friendly.. has a chicken coop on the property.. cats allowed.. no deed restrictions.. no HOA.. I'm ready to pack now

I'm finding that I really like the *unusual* stuff. Same reason I went for a Kraken clone over an AGA, which I was looking at for a long time (and still might grab at some point - depends how I get on with the Chi-Krack). I'm still not wild about handling li-ions, but for something that makes me smile every time I look at it, I can be persuaded... much like I was lukewarm about the MVP2 till I found the TARDIS wraps. Just a dumb piece of vinyl, but I still grin like an idiot the first time I pick it up in the morning, cause it's a TARDIS!

If I like the Chi-Krack enough, I'll probably upgrade that to a colored tank, too (plus, I'm clumsy, so spares are always good when it comes to breakable items... but getting a tank that's a nifty *color* will be for fun).

So I need to thank you for all the Dr. Who chat I think the reason I can't keep up lately is because that's all I've been watching, wife thinks I'm an idiot (nothing new there) cuz I just sit here in my I pad with 1 ear bud in watching the good dr. And his many adventures through time and space and loving it.
