It's a political play... they do it all the time. It's been successful more than once.

They take a ridiculous idea & push it forward to a vote, which gets shot down. Then they rely on the fact that the sheeple have extremely short memories & don't pay attention to what the public servants ruling class is really doing. They let it rest for a while & bring it back for a congressional vote, because it must not be a ridiculous idea if there was a vote on it before, right? There's a few other nuances to it, but that's the gist of it. Gov. Moonbeam is well versed in the tactic.

I'm not sure why the majority of the people have such short memories.
But I've seen it time and time and time again.
Also don't forget the fear factor that they slowly build up and implant
in people's minds....especially older people.

I think the bashers are bashing to get a rise out of us. They see our huge thread at the top of the board day after day and want some action. On a less moderated board I'd have them either spluttering with rage or crying within an hour.
Here I'll just be nice.

I agree. That is why I stayed out of the thread. The more you post on there the more exposure the troll gets.

What part of SC are you in Criticalmass? I'm new to the upstate myself.

Greenville. Relatively close to woodruff road. Everything is within about 15 minutes of me unless there is traffic.

Definitely on to get a rise out of the MBV groupies.
People are like that.
And there is bound to be some jealousy, among other
vendors and customers.

Go read the Provari board for a day. This is nothing. You can eliminate 3/4's of that sub forum & condense it down to "v3/VW trolls", "Should I get one" & "Provari vs ...".

Right on. I'm over in Belton. Pretty much smack in the middle between Greenville and Anderson.

Actually that thread and others like it don't bother me that much
and shouldn't James and Company either.
Even bad publicity is publicity and keeps the name out there.
I mean, a few people tried it totally wrong and now have to whine
to the board about it - others go in there sticking up for them and
stress the importance of steeping, etc. It alerts the newbies
about steeping and MBV juice. There are more that love MBV than
don't, and MBV has a nice following with many many satisfied peeps.
Compare that to a handful of dissatisfied whiners.
It keeps the name out there. It's not like any thread bashing MBV
is going to be full of pages that everyone replying agrees they stink.
And they're always going to attract new customers as long as the price,
selection, and customer service stay top notch.

Chi-Krack update for the interested: Finally ran into wicking issues, as I always do eventually. Not the fault of the Kraken or the build; it's cause I chain vape an insane amount. Had a feeling the mesh would have some trouble keeping up with me sooner or later. Incredibly easily fixed, though; I stuck a piece of cotton down the second wick hole, then gently wrapped it around the coil. I can power vape off this all day long now.

California is the "Save you from yourself" state. Wacko, knee-jerk bills pass here all the time. And don't forget, we have a town where smoking isn't allowed in your OWN house, if it has an adjoining wall. And no smoking on the streets.

There's plenty of room left in Free America. Montana's full, but I hear North Dakota is nice.

That just amazes me!! I can remember when they told us we couldn't smoke in a wide open stadium. Made me furious at the time, so I quit going.

I need to sit down and collect all the links to the latest findings and send them off to the SC reps again soon. There have been 7-8 new ones since my last mass mailing. :)

Nice! Is there any resource out there (CASAA I'm thinking?) that has a list of studies and their findings on the effects of vaping and second hand vapor anywhere, because it's been a few months since I last emailed my congress people.

Yeah, I don't get too hot and bothered. You see this on reddit a lot. Someone starts up with the 'MBV is garbage' talk and it goes pretty much just how that thread went. I've said it before, I'll say it again, MBV is the popular kid at school who really does no wrong, so everyone HAS to trash him/her because ... well, I'll stop. We all know why those types do what they do. Sad, but you are right mcol, each time one of those threads goes up, I would bet you a dollar that MBV sees a spike in sales and/or new customers.

Can cotton do any wrong? Besides a dry hit. God almighty, those are awful. Glad you got it primed and working the way you like. Still eyeballing that bad boy.

Bah!

If you can get past the government, the yuppies, the traffic, etc., ........

California is paradise.

I ... I don't miss CA one bit. It sure is pretty, but just far too many people, traffic ... and nowadays ... yeah, glad I'm home in NM.
