BTW, you were one of the very few that has a grasp on reality, that thread has taken another turn, one in which the supposed Might one shot himself badly in the groin area! Those are the type of people that should in no way have access to the internet.

That thread is a prime example of why people should need a license to vote.

Studies have shown exactly the opposite. The majority of people who CCW grow thicker skin, veer away from potential trouble, stay more 'under the radar' if you will, than before they carried. It's a subtle shift and one I know well.

Yeah, I just flipped through the last couple pages. Stupidity last night drank way too much caffeine this morning & ran with it. It's too bad that CCW folks are painted in the light they are. There's very few with a hair trigger like that situation & there's even fewer who do it for the 'talisman' effect (I carry so I'm invincible) or the most common accusation, doing it for 'the feeling of power'. It's so far from the truth, but that's what the media gave the masses & too many people drank the koolaid.

Yup, that's sad but very true! What I find interesting is that you have those the complain about the guns etc, for whatever their reason but quite a while back in Florida there was a year that allowed people to carry guns that were not concealed, you had all of the Gun Control freaks up in arms etc, but the fact of the matter was crime that year hit an all time low on just about every front! But yes, the sad fact is there are some that should not have them. Well, not gonna get in to that here. lol

Yeah, gun control is one of those issues that I can't quite make up my mind on. I have no doubt that guns can be a good thing in the hands of a smart, calm, sane person, but in this day and age the amount of people who fit that description is rapidly dwindling :/. Maybe they should make an IQ test mandatory for getting a gun permit . Although I think the original reasoning behind the second amendment of protecting citizens from a power hungry government doesn't really apply any more, sadly. Sorry patriot groups, but no matter how many assault rifles you have, if the other guys have assault rifles, snipers, tanks, planes, drones, helicopters, armored vehicles, rockets, mortars, smart bombs, and nuclear warheads... You're gonna have a bad time.

Wow that is awesome, we are having pork chops stuffed with apples and bacon, with a side of garlic potatoes as well as a salad.

Yeah, gun control is one of those issues that I can't quite make up my mind on.

I am 100% in favor of gun control ....
