She's sitting in a hospital waiting room at the moment... got there under her own power in the end, but then, she did drive herself to the hospital when she had appendicitis, too, so that doesn't mean much.

Yeah, gun control is one of those issues that I can't quite make up my mind on. I have no doubt that guns can be a good thing in the hands of a smart, calm, sane person, but in this day and age the amount of people who fit that description is rapidly dwindling :/. Maybe they should make an IQ test mandatory for getting a gun permit
This is a topic that I typically do not get drawn into, I have my views and tend to keep them to myself on this subject and as it is a very touchy subject for some I just have no desire to get into debating it for the sake of debating, nothing to be gained.

Well, it's the first time in the past few weeks that I have actually had a craving for something, that coupled with the fact that my father brought over 5 lbs of fresh shrimp, that is almost impossible to pass up, I do have to go prepare them in a bit, as my mother will not eat them I am only peeling 2 lbs and putting the rest in the freezer. Not sure how my system is going to react, and I really don't give a crap at this point, if my system rebels enough, it will give me a reason to make a visit to the ER!
