Does anyone know what the sweetener is made from? How do you use it - like a drop in a bottle or a drop in a clearo to bump up the sweet?

I picked up some of the Sweetener in my last order but I'm not really crazy about the ingredients. From their web site:
Ingredients List: Sucralose Artificial Sweetener, Propylene Glycol. USP Kosher Grade Flavoring.

Sucralose (the main ingredient in Splenda) is an artificial sweetener and has been shown to be just as bad as aspartame in many studies, and known to cause .... leakage in some people. Ewww gross!

I much prefer natural sweeteners like agave nectar and stevia. I actually have a liquid stevia on hand but I'm not sure if it'll work right trying to add it to e-juice since it doesn't have any PG in it. Willing to give it a try anyway. I'd certainly be more cost effective for me to use something I already have on hand, especially since I try to stay away from artificial sweeteners.

This kind of makes me wonder though if they use this sucralose in any of their e-juices. Probably, huh? I wonder if MBV can provide us with a list of juices that contain sucralose, and the difference in the amount you're ingesting if you're vaping it instead of eating it directly.

PS I'm still about 5 pages behind on catching up on this thread (my y'all were chatty yesterday  ) so I apologize if this was already discussed. But I need to get dressed and go out and may not get to finish catching up this thread until later tonight so figured I'd just post it now while it was fresh in my mind.

Another sweetener option is Ethyl Maltol, referred to as EM by DIYers. Most often artificial sweeteners are recommended for vape juice because nothing gunks coils faster than cooked sugars (and sugars are difficult to remove as well). Propylene Glycol is not an essential ingredient in vape juice, so it is not necessary in the sweetener you choose.

Ocean Breeze, Afternoon Delight

What do you find to be the difference between these two? They're both along the Pina Colada type of flavor right? Does Afternoon Delight have bananas and the other doesn't? Which do you like better?

And on another note, now that Cinnamon Roll is back in stock I'm placing my 2nd order. (My Memorial Day one is waiting for me at the PO now so I need to see which sample they gave me before completing this order.) However, I'm wondering on the Hawk Sauce. One flavor shot or two? I usually do most of my MBV juices with a few exceptions at 65/35 6mg +1 flavor shot but I thought I read that people said this one should have 2. What do y'all think?

Being the procrastinator that I am, looks like I took the time to finish catching up on this thread instead of hopping in the shower and going out.

I see that many of you did discuss the sweetener/sucralose thing and I thank you for that additional information. The liquid stevia I have on hand right now is a Vanilla Creme flavored one from SweetLeaf and its ingredients are Purified Water, Organic Stevia Leaf Extract, Natural Flavors, and Vanilla Extract so I'm not sure if that'd work as good as the VG-based one you use Stone. I have powdered stevia too but I don't think that'd work right adding it to e-liquid. I might have to pick up one of the VG-based ones if mine doesn't work as well.

You can add powdered Stevia to your liquid, but I do not know the percentages to recommend. You might find that information on one of the DIY threads. I would also look at the ingredients list of your powdered Stevia, they are not all "just Stevia."

so.. I wasn't getting much to blow my skirt up from cheesecake this time around.. taste bud changes I guess so I added some chocolate - WINNER! it's in a big T3 now.. graduated from the mini and it's at about half and half I think.. YUMMY

thanks for the additional info on sweeteners. I don't think I'd use anything called syrup (agave) but I have liquid stevia that's pretty thin in comparison to my max VG juices.. seems safe

Thanks for the "half and half" part, many who post combinations omit the ratio :toast:

Thats it, best customer service hands down. USPS' incompetent employees at my local P.O. screwed up big time.
1. Claimed to have attempted to deliver my package last week, clearly did not as I stalked the mail man who showed up with no package. Tracking info said "Notice Left".....what notice? where?

2. Claimed to have attempted re-delivery, wrong again, mail man showed up, I was there, no package, no notice.
Tracking info said "Notice left"......really? this gets old...

3. Went to P.O. after 4th Business day with no Vape Mail and asked ...?!!
After some searching, they found my package in a corner....with what appeared to be tire marks over the bottom half which was entirely crushed, and covered in juice :-x

Yelled at someone there for a while, filed a complaint. Got proof that the package was damaged by the post office.

But here is where it got better.
Contacted MBV. Within 2 minutes of my conversation with a rep, my order was submitted for re-shipment. :thumb:

Having my packages delivered to another address, in a different borough just to avoid dealing with this P.O. all together.

Question.....I did a build it yourself of chocolate, chocolate mint, chocolate fudge brownie, and orange. The juice is DARK...so I know it will kill my coils. I'm dying to try it but it's only been steeping for a week and a half. Do you think that's long enough? I have no experience with the chocolates from MBV. I think it's going to be a big winner....just don't want to jump on it too soon and ruin a coil. Help!!

Believe me, I was. Didn't care who was in the Post Office at the time, just went off about the endless incompetence, lack of common sense, bull.... notices, ......ed employees in there. All they could do was.....nothing. Not even an apology for the damage done. It was not even the first time they did not deliver my package to me, forcing me to wait on their long line. I once spent 2 hours there alone just waiting for a certified letter, just because they never gave it to the mail man to deliver, yet it always said "Notice Left".

Ah but i digress, back to MBV...im on a mission to try every appealing flavor on their website. 11 down, how many more to go?
