I had to reread the OP. He needs to do just what you do for the Reo. After cleaning/sanding the threads/contact points, they need the anti-oxidizing paste, Noalox, to keep them clean & not shorting out.
Thanks Oz! I will try this once I solder my spring back in place :p Do connection points include the firing pin-battery contact?

i don't know anything about your mod, but i use noalox on my reo's firing pin, which touches the battery. some reo uses put noalox right on the top of the battery as well. so i'm pretty sure oz is talking about the same thing.

That song makes me swoon. What's swoon?

I used to really respect Buble (he makes it look easy, but it takes a ton of work to sing that well), until he decided to rework "Santa Baby" as "Santa Buddy." Cause heaven forfend a man sing a song addressed to a mythological figure also portrayed as male, or someone might get the wrong idea. Waaaay overthinking that one, bub. But congratulations on *making* everyone give it way too much consideration by dousing the lyrics in enough testosterone to make Ahnold blush. You're a manly manly MANLY man, we get it.

I can't help ya with the KTS+, but I want to congratulate you on getting into DIY. I love the hobby of vaping, and DIY is fun and rewarding and has become a bit of an addiction of its own for me. What flavors are you waiting on?

I got sweetener, cinnamon roll, extreme ice, lemonade, razzleberry, butter pecan, ocean breeze, and Rob (I'm still not entirely sure what Rob is, but someone left a review describing it as tasting "purple, so I couldn't resist :D). I don't plan on doing true DIY and making my own recipes, for now I'm probably just going to leave the flavors on there own (except maybe razzleberry lemonade and of course the sweetener and extreme ice) and just mix 10-20% with a 50-50 blend. I'm going down to 0 nic for now since it's winter and my circulation in my hands and feet is horrible enough without nic, so I don't have to worry about that either. While I will probably get into recipe making at some point, for now it's more of a money saving thing for me. I can only afford a couple of 30 mls a month really, which was fine when I was getting started and using exclusively clearos, but now that I'm using a Kayfun 3.1 clone and a 5 post IGO-W3 instead, suddenly I find myself always almost out of eliquid and money :p. Also, what's the name of the company that MBV buys some of their flavors from? I was super disappointed to find that Spurburry didn't come as a flavoring, but I remember looking at that companies site and seeing a fruit gum flavor, so I'm hoping it's the same thing, or at least close.

Flavor West, but fruit gum isn't spurburry, sorry to say. I'm sure you could figure out a similar combination, though.

Why thank you. If I had such a thing as an ADV, it'd be an ADV. It's definitely a *daily* vape for me.

Will be trying it in a minute. I read that as I was topping off with my DIY Thug Juice. I'm excited.

you should mail me this pronto

If I had more than 10ml of Pumpkin Spice left, ya know, I probably would. :)

In other news, MBV is giving away 236ml of Thug Juice on reddit. Thought some of you might be interested. Reddit account pretty much necessary.

Most of my DIY mixes are around 12% (less for Extreme Ice...closer to 9%). Check out Flavor West flavorings, although not all of MBV's flavorings come from FW. Spurberry is a proprietary blend the best I can tell, like Hawk Sauce.

Good luck with DIY :)

Sounds like you're good to go, then, chabos. You do find a Spurburry 'clone', let me know. I love the Spurburry. I tried to whip up a Thug Juice clone, and ended up with something entirely different, but I absolutely love it. You will find as you DIY you will naturally start experimenting. I'd suggest doing small batches, steeping, and then getting creative. It's not a money saver if you have to toss what you make. Good luck, let us know if you have any questions.

Pumpkin Spice is available from the dropdown menu at this link, Sticky Bun still comes up as its own listing. Not sure why Pumpkin Spice isn't, anymore... hopefully they're just low on stock, cause if they're discontinuing it I will lead a riot that makes the Pink Champagne hubbub look like child's play.

I'd really have to know more about the mod in question. I'm just going to respond according to the advice you were given, not under the assumption that the advice was particularly good or bad, because I don't know.

Short answer: Use the Noalox wherever you heavily clean/sand.

Basically you're cleaning/sanding off corrosion. It's very similar to rust. As soon as you clean that 'rust' off to bare metal, it has the potential to 'rust' again, depending on the metal & conditions that reaction can happen very, very quickly. The Noalox isn't helping the connection via conduction, it's helping the connection like a coat of paint would help bare iron resist rust. So slopping it around the button isn't going to help you do anything besides make a mess.

Hm... 0mg 20/80 salted caramel isn't working out well on the vv3.

Guess I'll keep playing with the settings.
What tank do you use on it? Because before I switched to mechs and rebuildables, I would use BCCs with cotton micro coils, and I never encountered a flavor I couldn't get to work on it (except of course the flavors I flat out didn't like).

I decided with vanilla tobacco - NO.
Life is too too short.
Vaping it this afternoon I felt sick and thought I was coming down with the flu.
Switched flavors and all was swell again.
I am pif'ing it to a friend.
Opened midwest tobacco (free sample). It's a little better, will
know more tomorrow when I vape it in the morning (high octane).
So plugging away tonite on my concoction of hazelnut, extreme ice,
and the splash of sticky bun. I want to hate this concoction but
it isn't half bad, and I was never a menthol smoker.

Thanks for clarifying. As for the mod in question, imagine a GGTS, but crappy.
