Yes. 28ga kanthal from LightningVapes. They're the guys who were blowing out 100ft spools for under 5 bucks shipped. Prices jumped to a whopping 7.30-something shipped. Boohoo. For wicks, I just use boiled cotton and am slowly working on getting the right amount and packing in there.

I'm just trying to figure out what the flush snips are for.

I get my Kanthal on Amazon for around $7 shipped. Still dirt cheap. You can get it a little cheaper on eBay, but I don't deal with them.

Probably the same vendor I got mine from. LightningVapes was the seller, but it was bought from the 'Zon. I'm an electrician by trade, so I don't like the idea of twisting kanthal until it breaks out of habit. That's what the snips are for. Plus, I can use it with my soldering tasks should I ever get out of the hobby.

Nah...I thought your post was right on and made a lot of sense. There has been something in the "air" here off and on. I think it happens. And I agree with you on the kindness thing. Sometimes you have to stick up for yourself too. It's a fine line. I've seen other forums, off ECF and on, where it's much worse than in this thread. That doesn't mean we couldn't end up there, but it's such a good group that I don't see that happening. I hate confrontation myself and tend to disappear whenever full moon madness takes over or whatever. I've found out the hard way and there is much room for misinterpretation in online discussions. Don't feel ignored. If you're really being ignored, you'll know.........pelican.....err..I mean swordfish.....we're talking fish, not birds, right?

Dang, and here I thought we had switched to Mammals! Oh, hell what do I know. Marsupial

Good to see you posting sweetie!

hmm...really? I have a 50ml. bottle of Spurberry, fully steeped, and I just can't like it. I'll try mixing it with some Rainbow Sherbert and see if it improves for me. If not, it's got your name on it Dusty. It's 50/50, 6mg., 2 flavor shots. Have to retry some old Hawk Sauce again that I didn't think I liked also, so the same goes for that one.

Hi Sweetie, it can't hurt that's for sure, hopefully you will find you like it. That happens to me on occasion where I only have a little bit left in the tank and don't want to use something that is aging, I have a few that I have made up from the flavorings but they are not quite ready for my taste so I will sometimes just put something else in there IF I think it MAY have a chance of being decent. I figured those two would blend well with the properties they each have and found I like the combo of them.

I like the Hawk Sauce, but I do prefer the Faux Hawk sauce, I know some would think that is Sacrilegious but it's what I prefer. I had been a menthol smoker for so long, I have found that while I still like the menthol, it's become less and less of a go to for me now. I will always want some on hand but find I like the Fruit and Nut Flavors the best now. Rainbow Sherbet and Hazelnut are my top two as Red Apple has gone by the way side, I like the green apple also. So, if push comes to shove and I had only 2 flavors I was allowed to pick, Rainbow Sherbet and Hazelnut would be them. At least for the foreseeable future. I have a tendency to go overboard with things for a few months and then switch to something else for another few months etc, etc. ....:facepalm:

I think it was being sold direct from Temco. Don't really remember. With how long 100' lasts, they could double the price & I wouldn't bat an eye.

I don't twist, I just move it back and forth a few times on the same plane - you can control exactly where it breaks. It'll break off right at the screwhead, even tighter than you could ever get with snips. I definitely wouldn't mind having a pair for other things though.
