Hmm, I don't see why people are throwing "hissy fits" as some might say, about the other thread. I see absolutely no problem with people who want to get answers and talk about the topic on hand, which is MBV's juice, and not really care to discuss each other's personal lives. It's not a bad thing to not want to scroll through 5 pages of one sentence lines about "good morning/good night", and of course, there is no problem with people here wanting to chit chat and discuss topics unrelated to e-juice. We do not have a chip on our shoulders and I don't see why its a big deal why we would prefer direct answers and discussion about juice. The "fuss" we care about is juice opinion, this thread is titled mtbakervapor which is the brand of the juice company, not "people who like mtbakervapor who like to talk about other stuff and sometimes juice thread". Ok... thats all I got to say. Glad you guys are a close family and love to chit chat, but I find the other thread more useful for my purposes.

And BTW... I tried to re-read this thread, maybe seeing if I could find more info about the juices I like, which I have found SOME of, but for the most part, I find it a little off putting to read through several pages of stuff I don't really have any concern for, nor was I here earlier to participate in the discussion that I would know what you guys were discussing, nor do I care to go back 20 pages to see the beginning of the particular discussion. So I'm not just going to jump in and be like hay guys, my day was great, etc. Anyways... just surprised coming back to this thread to see people bashing the some of us in the other thread who just want straight forward answers. Is that so bad? No one is bashing you guys for chatting, we are just looking for something more direct, I don't see the need to say we've got a chip on our shoulders or have bad attitudes. I would say in fact the people who feel that way about people who want direct answers have bad attitudes about it.

It's not a question about someone wanting answers, we all want answers and want them when we ask them or as quickly as possible, the whole thing boils down to the complaint about people interacting with each other on some personal level, that for those that wish to have interaction with others of a like mind in some areas find that enjoyable, there is only so much that can be said about any one juice, and yes, those answers are in here and yes, granted it may take some searching, the thing is, people are in such a rush that they want everything handed to them on a silver platter and when they don't get what they want right away they tend to either sulk, pit a fit, cry foul etc and all that time taken do do something nonconstructive could have been used to use the boards features to their best advantage. It's more of a way a person presents themselves then it is as to the issue itself which could be rectified easily by asking a question. It has become all too common place that everyone wants everything NOW, right this second, not this minute, not in the next 10 minutes but right now. This is one of the problems with online interaction, people have forgotten how to be patient, courteous, respectful and self sufficient.

While wanting something right now is great in some instances, rushing for other things makes you miss so much more in life. Even before the advent of computers and high tech devices there was a saying long ago that holds true more now then it ever has cliché "Stop and Smell the Roses"

Dusty took the bait.

A Public Service Announcement.

It looks like cake, it smells like cake, THE CAKE IS A LIE!

Please stop taking the bait people, there is plenty of room in the DB for these forums for as many threads as needed by MBV fans of all communication levels. There is plenty of juice to go around at MBV. Let there be as many threads as needed for this wonderful elixir.

A Public Service Announcement.

Sorry I used you :(

Thank you Dusty. I think you and I are like minded on this topic. So I'll just quote you and leave it be. :)

I'll turn up more eventually, I'm sure... mostly, it's a matter of how much I can turn up without a paper trail, because apart from the Family Bibles, there isn't one to speak of. Most pre-Famine records were kept only in the local churches, when they were kept at all, and point of entry records from the US when it comes to Famine Irish are relatively useless because everything is Anglicized so as to literally be beyond recognition - some by the officials who were filling out the paperwork, but quite a lot by the immigrants themselves, who had a vested interest in claiming to be "Scots-Irish," which was seen as affluent/acceptable, as opposed to Famine Irish (seen as Irish-speaking unwashed starving beggars). So, for example, one of my twice-great grandmothers actually gave her name to the officials as Anna, but it's in the Bible as Ann, and buried further toward the back, it's listed as Aine. Aine isn't Ann - it's neither the same name nor pronounced anywhere near the same - but if I were to Anglicize Aine on short notice, I'd go with Ann or Anna.

My twice great grandfather's obituary calls him "a good and honest businessman, for an Irishman" and I have a photocopy of a sign from around the same time period that says, "No Irish Or Dogs Need Apply." I keep both around to remind me that that generation wasn't trying to rob me of knowing my history, or of their native tongue... they were trying to make their way the best they could in a country that didn't want any part of them, and me having big blank spots in my history and having to relearn a language that my ancestors once spoke with perfect fluency are just the natural consequences of the situation they were in at the time.

One of these days, I hope to be able to go to Ireland specifically to go poking around enough churches to find the right paperwork - that's going to be the best way to find anything concrete.

I had tried a few times to trace back for family history on my fathers side of the family, but keep running into quite few dead ends which have to deal with a number of issues with some records going back due to the occupation of the Nazi's and Red's back in that time in Poland, I was able to find out that one of my distant relatives actually held a title of Baron in Poland but things become very sparse and other just lead to dead ends and the information just isn't there.

Oh my mothers side of the family I found out that Buster Keaton was a Relative of my Grandfather! For those who have no idea of who he is, ask Uncle Ralphie or Butch, I'm sure they would know! :p Sunfish! Also there is some relation to the Reynolds Tobacco family, but did any other that trickle down, oh hell no!

I just ignore the "we want answers without squirrels" posts and go about business as normal. No need for me to perpetuate the needy. Unless there is Hawk Sauce at stake.

:)

You ask a question, you get a squirrel... THEN you get an answer. Our MO isn't hard to follow.

Now be a friend. Buy a squirrel a pint.

Good Morning!! (Ok it is really noon) For me it is morning:)

DustyZ!!! It is almost warm!! I am blaming you for the freakish cold weather because a few weeks ago you posted that you wanted it to cool off! LOL.

Blame me all you want, I have broad shoulders! :p I have actually enjoyed the bout of cold weather, well except for the 1st 2 days as it was raining as well and that sucked. It's now 66 here, and will only go down to 45 tonight. By Tuesday it's expected to drop back into the 30's, it's been in the low 20's here for the past 4 days. My one cat was ......, he always follows me out when I clean their litter boxes, but he would stop at the door and give me this nasty look, I swear I heard him look up at me an say "Are you ficken kidding me!" and turn around and go back on the couch and curl up to sleep again. :p

cracked open my Rainbow Sherbet 50/50, 12mg of nic, 0 flavor shots, born on 01/02/14.

I like it ... don't love it, but I like it, great vapor, great TH, flavor just a little bit lacking.

I do believe I will love this one with a little bit of a kick up in the flavor department .... sooooooo question is;

without going all medieval and ordering 5 shots where should I go .... is one shot a noticeable difference .... should I go two ... three???

I'm not really looking for overwhelming in my face flavor .... but more than just a muted "hint" of flavor.

Personally for me at 50/50 I like 3 extra shots in it! 65/35 would be 2 extra shots. Just my personal preference as is indicated in my sig link. :D
