Hi KerryK! I've always found MBV to be a very reputable vendor and always so helpful with any questions or issues I've had.

I chatted with James just before Christmas regarding the BNB vs BGN. I wanted to order some juice for a new vaper as a gift. I remembered how good the banana nut bread juice was I had prior to my discovery of PG sensitivity. I was confused when I saw the two - both appearing to be varieties of banana nut bread. I asked James what the difference was and when was the change made, trying to determine which one I actually had tried. He mentioned the change was made in September (what day, I don't know), and then he described the color difference and the taste difference. Together, we decided what I had tried was the original, now called Bananas Gone Nuts. I did not think to ask why the recipe was changed.

Sometimes, flavoring vendors change their flavorings, so perhaps that is what happened. I know another vendor who is now discontinuing a very popular recipe because his flavor vendor changed the formulation on the cinnamon flavoring he always used in his recipe. If at some point in time he finds another cinnamon that works, he may bring that flavor back. Whether they find out before or after making and shipping their recipes, can vary. So, it's possible, at the time of your inquiry, they thought they had the same juice flavorings. You may want to speak directly with James about it. I'm sure he will do whatever he can to make things right.

uh oh.. why? does juice go bad? if so I'm in deep doo doo

about a year is what i've read....but thats not the problem, i just told myself no more juice until i run out of some, my problem is or was that i'd always buy 30ml's because of the "best value" however i'm learning that at the rate of me vaping a 30ml bottle lasts a good while when i order a few at a time

Hello fellow MBV fans! I was hoping someone here had tried MBV's Toasted Almond flavor. I'm going to order some next week, but I was wondering if anyone here had tried it. I had some bad luck with their Macadamia Nut being way too dark.. it just won't wick well for me. Anyone know if it's one of their lighter colored juices?

PS: Graham Cracker and Lemonade are to die for if anyone is on the fence about trying them! :vapor:

I seriously doubt they lied to you.

There is Bananas Gone Nuts: Bananas Gone Nuts E Juice Baker Vapor - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

And there is Banana Nut Bread: Banana Nut Bread E Juice Baker Vapor - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

Are you sure you distinguished between the two?

Your missing the point, there was no Banana Gone Nuts when I ordered, they only offered Banana Nut Bread and Bananas Foster. I have tried both and ordered properly. In my e-mail I was very specific on the color change from the previous bottles I had ordered and described the 50ml I got as very different and asked specifically if anything had changed.

I even asked them if it was safe to vape due to the almost black color compared to the previous Banana Nut Bread. If it was simple matter of maybe a miss order on my part why didn't they just ask that, why? Because they could see from my invoice I ordered correctly.

No, they told me it was the extra flavor shot....and I say :censored: to that lame excuse.

my co-worker got Whiteout and said it was good right out of the envelope. He said it tasted like Dentine Ice.

I don't know, it's definitely stout on the licorice flavor. I did get 2 extra shots in mine though. I am finding I am more of a tobacco guy but still like to try things. From what I have tried so far, white out isn't to my liking. However, I have no reservations about recommending it to someone who likes a strong licorice flavor. If that's you then you will not be disappointed with it. The Ecto Cooler I got again not for me. I can vape it but wouldn't be my all day vape. I get a strong Orange and Lemon flavor. Again it is pretty close to sucking on a Hi-C though. The candy bar is tasty. A lot of caramel with small hints of chocolate and nuts. I think it will get better with steeping too. I have only tried dripping the 555 and chocolate tobacco I received and I am not good at it and have a crappy atty so I will save my thoughts on these for when I have time to get a delivery system I like to try these in. I didn't really like the dual coil cartos because I couldn't get the vape I wanted out of them. Not that the product was bad, just found it to not be my cup of tea. Lastly, the best juice I had was the free one sent lol. The Sweet Cherry Bomb was, well, the bomb. To me, kind of like a cherry slushy or a cherry part of a popsicle. Very tasty. I could probably make that my ADV and looking forward to getting it in some VG/distilled water. As for the viscosity of the VG/Water is seems to be a lit thinner than some VG juices I have tried but unfortunately I am trying these in some clearos that seem to be messed up and wont wick anything without burning(these did not come from MT Baker) so I will hold off judgement for a little while. Look forward to trying more of their juices soon and with the prices I definitely will just have to let some time pass so I can use some of the juices I ave from numerous vendors lol. I will make a suggestion to someone trying these for the first time, don't add flavor shots until you try them because it may not be needed and it may give them an overwhelming flavor.

right there with ya on the added shots. I did that with a couple juices thinking... mmmmm extra flavor. Well.. not so much. They're good with flavor from jumpstart... adding just messes things up for me. I don't, however, do the fruity juices or the tobacco juices - just sweets and coffees... and also with the 70VG-30H20 juice.

KerryK, Maybe you could contact James and explain that you just don't like the juice you received and ask if he will replace it with the Bananas Gone Nuts (original version), which is what you thought you were getting in the first place. You didn't realize the formula had changed when you ordered the second time. James is a very reasonable guy.

@KerryK-

I have never had an issue with any order placed with MBV. They are actually the first of three vendors I found that provide what I would call true customer service. Excellent customer communication, fast shipping and the willingness to talk to their customers. MBV is my one and only juice vendor at the moment and my other two favorites are hardware vendors.

James is always active in the MBV suppliers thread and they have the option to chat live while on their site when placing orders. I can't say enough good things about MBV honestly. They, to me, are truly what customer service should be. James could teach a class on the subject. Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience but I really think if you contact James he will make it right.

Unfortunately, bad experiences do happen. I have learned that from working in the family business. We strive to do whatever our customers need done and I have been out of town on Thanksgiving and Christmas in order to make those things happen for our customers. But you can't always hit a home run. Occasionally things do slip by. As a vendor, you define yourself by how you respond when things go wrong.

I have yet to have anything go wrong with MBV but I feel very certain that if things ever do go wrong I could simply let them know and they would correct it.
