Well that is unfortunate, the few shops we have here are all pretty decent and all get along well from what I hear. I live about an hour west of St. Louis and the scene here is growing quickly too. Have one shop pretty close to my house that is about to open up a new location because they are so busy. Great people and was so tempted to apply but just wouldn't work for me right now.

I frequent the Northland store the most. Great people and have given me great deals. For me without the community feel and attitude you aren't going to make it. The community will support the community, and the shops can't really compete with the online vendors in price. That leaves necessity, convenience and community.

Since I've started, 98 days ago, I've basically done all my vaping on 2 1300 vision spinners. I think about upgrading but get such a nice vape on the spinners that I haven't done it yet. When I have money to spend it seems it always goes for juice and heads for my mini vivi nova metal tanks. Let us know what you think if/when you get one!!

It's been since last October for me and I'm still quite happy with my 2X volts .. all three sizes and the cig-a-likes from smokeless image. I haven't even gone for their VV spinner. I don't even like manual batteries.. the button pisses me off.. I forget to use it most of the time and wonder why I get no hit.. duh.

Having a tough day today. Got some shocking news in regard to my work. I am a high school teacher at a private school and just found out they are not enrolling any high school students this year. I am being asked to move to a combined 5th and 6th grade class to teach all of their subjects. The urge to smoke is unbearable at the moment. My good friend who normally talks me down passed away 10 days ago and I feel overwhelmed. Hoping just posting my struggle helps with the ridiculous feeling that I NEED an analog.

aww man, talk about a change in job description - where are the highschool kids going? everybody homeschooling this year?

It might be good to get one little bottle of a higher nic juice for those times when it seems like only a cig will do in what ever flavor floats your boat. My highest nic level is 12 - even when I started vaping but hubby has one bottle of 18mg juice. Every so often I have to grab that carto to stave off the thoughts of an analog

Agreed, the shop I go to here is wonderful and they actually are priced very competitively with online vendors, they just had a sale on Protanks for 12.99. I know the owners and they started the shop up because they truly want to help people quit smoking and since they opened they have been doing very well and they deserve to be. it's a pretty cool shop, lots of couches etc. and you can just go hang out and vape, never any pressure to buy anything. Only problem is they have gotten so much business by word of mouth if you go on the weekends it is standing room only and sometimes barely that, which is why they are opening another shop.

What ratio did you mix those flavors at? I have a neglected bottle of Get Razzled and Dark Chocolate flavoring on its way.
Roughly 50/50. I had an Evod about half full of Dark Chocolate when the idea hit me and I just filled it the rest of the way with Get Razzled, shook it around a bit to mix them up, and went to town. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing, but I sure like the result!

Homeschooling or public school I guess. Will be hard not seeing them daily. Deeply saddened for them. I know I did everything I could to make a difference in the time I had with them.
Higher nic is a great idea. I have 24, 18, and 12. Been using strictly 12 lately. Checking my butterscotch sample I see it's 18. That could be why it's working when the melon flavors weren't. I will make sure I keep some higher nic stuff in stock. Off to drip some 24 and completely slay this dragon called temptation

I did a build your own online of 2 parts each fudge brownie, raspberry, and butter cream, with an extra flavor shot of fudge brownie. Named it Roonie's Chocorazz Truffle and it's delicious!! Raspberry and chocolate are awesome together and I often top off one flavor in a tank with 1 or even 2 other flavors. It's fun being a mad scientist!!

My advice is to order small, when first time ordering from a new vendor. Although one juice might be loved by hundreds, you might not be able to STAND that particular juice.
MBV has great shipping speed, and outstanding prices, but there is something in the fruit flavors I don't like and I can't pinpoint what it is.
The juicy fruit and America flavor's are the 2 fruity ones I've had and maybe they just need to steep for a long time, but they had no sweetness at all and seemed very dry. liquid had a strange separation in it as well. Something very different about some of their juices

I did try their vanilla tobacco though, and it was robust and very stout. I liked it since it had a HARD throat hit and good vapor.

I'm sorry to hear about your job. :( But as much as you think you want a cig, you really don't. And as your vaping twin (beginning vaping on the same day and all ;) ), I am forbidding you to do it. It won't taste like you think. Just vape your brains out until it passes. *big hugs*

Thanks! I'll definitely give that a shot when my flavoring comes in.

Beacon1973, so sorry to hear about your troubles and I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. My uncle passed away yesterday too so on top of an already stressful week, and a bit of a stomach bug this past weekend, I was vaping up a storm the last few days myself. I found my mind wandering towards breaking down and having a clove yesterday (that's what I used to smoke) but I resisted and just vaped some more. Totally surprised I don't have vapers tongue from all that yet! LOL

The point I want to make is not any different than what everyone else here has said to you already, you can do it! Remember how much better you feel, and smell, without the stinkies. And now that you've got all those nice clean fresh smelling clothes, do you really wanna go stinking them up with cigarette smoke again. Those were the very thoughts that helped me to resist. That and pulling on some of the 12mg nic tobacco flavors I usually keep on hand for such cravings. (I usually vape at 6mg.)

On another note, know that I dropped that bottle of Ocean Breeze in the mail to you today so look forward to that nice prezzie being on your doorstep by the end of the week if not sooner.

Take care bud, and I'm glad everyone in this thread could be here for you!! *hugs*

Thank you EVERYONE for the information and suggestions you have provided...I am indeed humbled  And thank you to a very respected member of this thread who PM'd me and provided me with some very in depth information on PV's and the Vamo in general. Based on all of your recommendations, I think I'm pulling the trigger on this: $58.85 Vamo V3 Stainless Steel Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger / 2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
What do you think? I have a couple of Kanger mini-pro tanks on the way and I think they'll pair nicely with this. I can see it now.....Me at home after a long day in the field....sitting in my recliner...the Vamo in my hand with a mini pro full of my favorite MBV juice...watching Big Bang Theory.......Ahhhh...Life is good..... Seriously though.......Thanks everyone, you guys ROCK!!!! :toast:

You got an EXCELLENT device! I posted my thoughts on the Vamo v3 earlier in this thread and so long as you like the looks of it (I do!) the v3 has several improved features over the v2. (Though it looks like the v2 at least at Fasttech got the OLED screen update so possibly a few more enhancements have been made to the v2 to bring it up to par with the v3 as well.) In any case, I have that one myself in the Black Chrome. Kinda wish I had the stainless but I won it for free in a contest so I can't complain about color. Plus I added the rhinestones back into the top cap and it's so purrrty now!

Dripping is really pretty easy once you get the hang of it. I do it a lot when I'm at home just using a standard dripping atomizer. It allows me to flavor switch on the fly, and test new flavors without having to dedicate a whole clearo or tank to them. Plus it gives you a very pure flavor without any wicks or filler material getting in the way. There's no need to jump into coil building if you're just using a dripping atty either, that only comes into play if you're using rebuildable atomizers (RBA). If you have a spare cartomizer lying around, and want to give dripping a try without spending any money, then you can build your own "white trash" version of a dripping atomizer by following the simple instructions in this YouTube video. Then if you decide you like it, you can pick up a better one for a few bucks more, they're not really that expensive. Plus there's an active thread out here on ECF that is chock full of information and helpful people: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...405910-regular-atty-drippers-dying-breed.html

BTW I still use both of my eGo-style batteries even though I have a Vamo and a Sigelei Telescope, and yes like Opal, I still use my SI Volts as well, though not as much since I enjoy clearos and carto tanks more than plain cartomizers now. However, since I picked up a 5 pack of these neat little T4 Clearomizers the other day, even my Volts have seen new life. (used with an 808D to 510 adapter).

There honestly isn't any difference in taste between the different batteries since all that relies solely on the delivery device itself, but definitely when moving between several different devices, it helps to have a variable power setting that'll adjust the heat to that setting no matter what the resistance of the attached delivery device. Then you can just do a little bit of manual fine tuning as needed. Also I don't think it's possible to drip on a VV eGo battery either but I could be wrong... I'm sure someone's done it. :)
