Just a tip for some folks running out of juices...a 15ml bottle of flavoring will make about 100ml of juice, with a +1 flavoring level. MBV sells the unflavored nic as well (of course there are other sources for nic, PG, and VG). It's probably the easiest way to DIY 10 ml of juice if you are adding 1.2ml of a single flavoring to 8.8ml unflavored nic from MBV (for a 12% flavored juice).

For those looking for a grape flavor.. Give Surprise Grape a try!
I finished my 15ml in less than 3 days using my IGO-L RDA. Ordered a 100%VG, 3 flavor shots, 6mg of nic. Addicting smooth yummy flavor!

Grape itself is also a very good grape flavor. I'm not trying to be a wise-.... It's good.
Get Surprise Grape and Grape then you have 2 very tasty grape vapes :)

Can anyone give me a comparison between Sugar Cookie and Cake? Or Bavarian Cream and Vanilla Custard?

I'm absolutely in love with Sugar Cookie, it's the only true ADV I've found so far. Subtle with just enough sweet. Bavarian Cream is close but not quite flavorful enough, will try again with another shot or two in it.

But I'm looking for some more things that are along the same lines as those, subtle and slightly sweet, for other possible ADVs.

I have Cinnamon Roll and love it but it becomes a bit cloying after a while. I read that Sticky Bun is similar without the cinnamon of course so I think I'll try that too.

I'm no perfumer but I think if you like sugar cookie then you'll like cake (yellow).
I have both. I like both. I don't get tired of either by the end of the tank.
Try graham cracker too.

My first MBV order was a few 15ml bottles of new flavors to try via reviews at Spinfuel.
I also ordered a couple of 30ml bottles of flavors I knew I liked that also had good reviews.
I know times are tough but we're saving a lot of dough by vaping vs smoking.
I made damn sure I gave it my best shot. Half measures gain me half assed results.
read, read read reviews. this thread is about a million pages long and has a trillion reviews.

And keep asking, I'm not ball busting just adding my :2c:

Here are the Spinfuel reviews:

1.) Mt Baker Vapor e Juice Review #1

2.) Mt Baker Vapor e Juice Review #2

3.) Mt Baker Vapor e-Liquid Review #3

and the interview:

Do you feel like you have to keep a pretty sanitary environment and glove up when you DIY? I wonder about contamination but maybe I'm just being paranoid. I haven't looked through all of the DIY flavors in the last few days, but it looked like they were running pretty low on them also. It definitely is a cost cutter to go the DIY route, and gives you lots of opportunity to experiment with flavors, that's for sure.

Well I went for a bunch that are similar to the ones I like (plus a few others for variety)

I couldn't resist trying jackfruit. I work with a bunch of Jamaican girls who are constantly talking about amazing fruit and making my mouth water. One day we were talking jackfruit for a while (which I've never had) and about a week later I noticed it was on MBV. They'll get a kick out of it when I tell them what I'm vaping. I'll have to have them smell it and see what they think.

Two weeks ago I would have totally agreed with you and in fact I was saying that they should expand their product line. It is true that getting away from flavor west may help but ....

Hold on a second now I just had a revelation and kind of feel like an ... (maybe)

What if it wasn't poor planning on MBV's part that led to them running out of flavors but perhaps it was the fact that flavor west was moving and reduced their product on hand to ease the moving process (or whatever it was that they where doing) and never passed that info onto their buyers.

If that is the reason for all of the flavor shortages I am sorry for the rants I have been having as of late.

But i digress.

Sure I would pay more for some new flavors, I already really like the MBV line and would love to see more things like that, and Mt. Saint Helens would be a pretty badass name for it too.

You know what else I would really like to see. A short video on their site showing the process 'ala "how its made" just 'cuz I'm a nerd like that.

I did state about MBV and FW shutdown/move, but that really is only part of my thoughts. The main part was for them to become more encompasing than what they currently are. My guess is that they thought about this and decided that is NOT what they want to be. Either way it's just a thought tough.

I really like Cherry Limeade, but Jackfruit was in my very first order from MBV (2 months ago) and it is still sitting nearly full on my bookshelf. Tastes like the the insoles of my shoes, but I hope it tastes better for you.

I do make sure to wash my hands before, during, and after mixing as a precuation. You really only need gloves for high concentration nic (60mg and above) to prevent your skin from absorbing any spills. PG is also naturally antimicrobial, so I don't worry about that kind of contamination.

I just mentioned it because once I started buying the DIY extracts, I haven't run out of what I like to vape. I probably just jinxed it, though. We'll have to see if the Hawk Sauce DIY is there the next time I need to order :p

Do you mean "naturaly extracted flavors"? Most of those I have seen are tobacco and the process can be a bit hit or miss due to the organic nature of the extractions. Nor is it a sure way to have a constant supply of flavors since they have to be "cooked" for heat extractions or given days or weeks for cold extractions. High demand could still cause outages in other words. And to be really honest not only do the direct extracts gunk up stuff faster (because of more organics in the flavoring) they also have a nominally higher risk factor because they are directly extracted and you get more than just the flavor molecules. Or do you mean hire a flavorist and do their own advanced molecules? I think that would raise the price pretty substantially to cover the new lab and staff.

Mt. Baker does what they do better than anyone else and they have a price point and staff that stand out in the field. I suspect that they will still be standing long after the "artisan" places have gone because they have a hold on the niche they are in. I would worry that trying to compete with the artisan places (who often limit production and sales volume) would just take away from what they already are doing right.

You're probably right, SB. But I really just wanted to put my idea out for a new line of MBV juice...Mt. Saint Helens ;)

btw...Good to see you in here again :toast:

Haha me too! It was more of a curiosity or novelty purchase, I have a feeling it'll be too sweet for me to actually vape. I never would have gotten it if it wasn't for the girls at work. Maybe I'll get lucky though!

ya know what....it was pounded into my head when i first came to ECF that i MUST have backups for my vaping equipment. i think that advice is good for our suppliers too. have a backup plan or risk the pissiness of your customers! :p

I suspect that they had what they thought would be plenty of flavorings but were surprised by the demand. Heck, even Wizard Labs has been out of unflavored nicotine juice! I think in a year or two, we'll look back at this period as the time vaping really 'took off'.

(Of course, it's easy for me to be phlegmatic about MBV's OOS situation because I stocked up big-time a couple of weeks ago. :) )

Anyway, None of those flavors are on the cracked tank page. E Juice that may break a plastic tanks | Mt Baker Vapor WikiMt Baker Vapor Wiki

Will I have any problems vaping these with my Triton Tank? I don't want to gunk up/burn up my coils after 2 ml or something. Thank you for the help =)

Tucson, it's a dry heat
Since I only vape 6 mg., I only get 24-36 mg. VG base. I'm so lazy, I don't glove up, I mix my syringes sometimes and I just wipe any spills with a towel. I do all of this on the bathroom sink, then all the DIY supplies go back into the big box. I know you have cats Roonies, but just gather up your supplies for a batch and lock yourself in the bathroom. Then put it all away for next time.

Oh and BEFORE I do all of this, I figure out the exact recipe on my juice calculator. That way I know which supplies to get out and exactly how much to put in the bottle (I mix directly into the bottle, no need for beakers and stirrers and all that jazz.) I get my plastic syringes from Walgreens (the pharmacist hands them to me free.) I use a 1 ml, a 5 ml. and a 10 ml. syringe. I just eyeball as closely to the tenth ml. on the syringe - I don't mess with drops and stuff, lol. Works for me! Keep it simple (unless you WANT to be an alchemist!)

I have a triton also and I have never had any issues with it and MBV juices, I also 100% VG which is thicker so I just washed the coils when I see its getting gunky at the top.... normally every 3rd tank

I was a menthol smoker too. But extreme ice is too much for me. Try thug juice. It's got good menthol going with some nice fruit flavors. It's certainly worth a try.

I've only tried freckled lemonade and really like it. A suggestion for you, though. I order a bottle of sweetener about every third order and just add a drop or two to each tank that I find too sour. It really makes a big difference. I've learned not to ever run out of it. Hope that helps some.

Appreciate the suggestion. Will give that a try. Thanks.

I basically do the same thing for DIY adventures. I grabbed a 236ml 80/20 0mg base that I picked up from MBV for $8.00 and then picked up a 24mg 75/25 PG/VG 150ml from MFS for $8.50 to do a base of between 12mg and 6mg. Between the mix base and flavorings that I have purchased I calculated that the cost is around 9 cents per ml mixing at 12.5% flavorings (oops I didn't mention that I'm an accountant dd I)?.

I didn't know that you could get free syringes from WM … Nice tip! My only syringe is cleaned out with around a half a ml of vodka and pushed back out to the cleaning station for the EVODs , Protank and the coils..
