Oh happy day! My Vamo 3 arrived today and I also splurged on a new Vision Spinner...My old one is fixing to be a year old!

I have to say Im liking the Vamo 3 a lot better then my Vamo 2! I never had no luck with adapters so I just didn't use any of my evods or T3S on them just on my Spinner. But this one has plenty of room for them to fit.

And the swirls are not near as deep as they look in the picture. I got the stainless steel and they really help with the grip.

The only downside is the numbers on the screen are super tiny! They would be fine for newer eyes but mine not so great.

I quickly cleaned and put my Vamo 2 away cause my hubby will never notice the difference! I did tell him that I was planning on getting a new one for my anniversary but I just decided to get one early.

I would like to try and get a different one but have no idea what to look for. I wouldn't want to spend more then 75 dollars on one. Any suggestions on one that is simple like the Vamo?

What are the threads like on the Vamo V3? Just curious. I know some people were saying early on that they were a bit weak, but other say they are fine.

Dusty, my wife has a VAMO 2 and as you know, you have to be careful on the threads...I read where the Vamo 3 was better but the VAMO 4 had good ones similar to the SVD.:toast: HEy...speaking of devices...how's yours holding up? I know you mentioned awhile back things weren't so great and if your lucks like mine.......when things go down the tubes.......EVERYTHING goes down at once.... You doing OK?

I see they now have a Vamo v5 out or coming out, that's pretty quick didn't they just come out with the well v2.5 or 4 whatever they are calling it! lol

Well, one that I had that was a spinner is dead, 1 of my eGo's is taking a very long time to charge, my V-Life max is shot, can't figure out what the deal is with that darn thing, I have pretty much only the 1 eGo left, it's taking about 7 hours to charge now, used to take like 4 1/2 hours, I guess they are about at the end of their lives, I have have them about 4 1/2 months. The 808's I think that are called that I first started with are dead, so they are going to the dump in the battery section, want to be environmentally conscientious! :(

Well, I still have the one eGo, but they are dying so I have to be really careful about how much I do as they are taking a long time to charge, I think that they are on their last legs. When I got off the 808's I used those exclusively and I know they don't have a infinite span, I have used them so much and I got my money's worth out of them, but if this one dies out, well... will see... Now I understand why so many have a heck of a lot of them in their arsenal, makes sense, I really didn't give that aspect of it much thought, which is my fault, should have forgone some juices and gotten more spinners I guess, I liked that one, but it's a dead duck as is the other eGo that one is good for about an hour and this last one takes 7 hours to charge...

got it in the classifieds....SS vamo 2.... nice buy so I hope it will be ok....thanks for the replies.
it is advisable to get a 510 to EGO adapter to make sure or as they say save the threads ?

I use an adapter for the 510 connection but not on the ego connection. Not a fan of the adapters.

thank heaven....wonder why some don't and some do ?
I think the early versions had a thicker collar preventing them from fitting into the well.
Yes, this ^^^ and it turns out that more than one company makes the Vamos, so there might be some variation in the "quality control." I can't fit T3 on my Vamo V2 without an adapter, but I can use the T3S (the new T3) and eVods on it. You might need to wait and see which ones will work on yours.

You might need the adapter. If you do, be careful to not screw it onto the Vamo too tightly. It can push the insulator down into the body of the mod. There have been complaints in the past that the threads on the Vamos wear out easily, but I only read that about the V1 and V2 so far.

Hope that helps :)
