I rebuilt my first Evod coil the other day using cotton instead of silica, I put off trying it for a few days as I started to worry about not putting enough in and though I might flood the take, well I had not choice as the one in it was so clogged, I tried it, let it sit for a few minutes and tentatively tried it and boy I was happy with the result and the taste is so much better then silica. I got tired of fighting with the silica because all I had was 3mm and it was just too hard to try and get into the coil and I hate wrapping on the wick itself! lol I got lucky myself I believe!
what do ya'll use to rebuild?

i read in another Thread someone was talking about rotisserie string...some say yarn...and still others say cotton balls.
I thought I might try the rotisserie string. I have a bolt of it.
I would boil it first and separate into double strands or something....
heck, I don't know! lol

I use 2mm silica at the moment but I'm thinking about giving organic cotton balls a go on my next rebuild.
I hope so. I hate math and worry about getting the ratios all correct. 
If you can rebuild heads, the rest is a piece of cake!
I use sterile cotton balls from the first aid aisle of the drug store...just a few dollars for a lifetime supply. It only takes a small amount rolled into a tiny "snake" like when you were a kid in school to thread through the coil. Cotton offers great flavor, IMO. I only use cotton in drippers now, and often use it to rebuild clearo heads.

Get the e-juice calculator from eJuice me up, that helps take the math part out of it for you!

The Vamo 1 & early 2s were not evod friendly. Any new Vamo you get now will work with them.
It never hurts to have more than one recommendation for the same good product
does the 236ml juice come in a bottle with a squirt nozzle? I just put in a order for my favorite flavor at this huge size since the price is a smoking deal but now I'm wondering how i'm going to transfer it to my 30ml bottles? I don't have a funnel that is that small nor have I seen one in stores.
Do you have rugs or hardwood floors?
Really though, if you're careful with it it won't be an issue.

I haven't had a problem with the threads and actually made the threads on the used one I got somewhat better.
If you get an adapter and don't crank it in too far you'll have zero problems with the ego threads.
Adapters don't use them, they use the 510 threads.
If you don't use an adapter and you screw up your ego threads you can still get an adapter to use the 510 threads.
