I don't want to be a pest, but here is what I'm thinking for fixing my red-hot cinnamon:

buy 15 mls of 18 mg/ml VG, and add 35 mls of my 18 mg/ml, 50/50, +2 shots red-hot cinnamon. The theory being that the VG will suspend the cinnamonaldehyde, preventing separation. The 100% VG should dilute and mute the fire, and increase the VG percentage which isn't as good of a flavor carrier.

Any DIYers have an opinion on my plan?

I'm back in Michigan after spending two weeks in Georgia with my Daddy. He died on September 17th of Cancer. I'm so grateful that I got to spend that time with him. I cared for him and we talked and laughed and really had a wonderful time. His passing was very easy and quick. He basically just went to sleep. I'm having a hard time with this. My Daddy raised me after my Mom split when I was 3. He was an amazing Father and I'm missing him something fierce. At least I got that time with him though. It meant the world to me.

Now... I'm vaping one tank of Cinn Roll/Blueberry and one tank of Thug Juice/Peach/Ruby Red Grapefruit juice. I rotate these two 'types' of flavors to keep my papillae (lol) happy. I'm putting together a pretty large order with MBV with two new spinner batteries, the iTaste MVP 2, 2 new Smoktech Glass/Metal tanks, Two aluminum drip tips and a LOAD of juices! :) Refilling my ADV's (cinn roll, blueberry, thug juice, peach, solar flare) and trying a bunch of new ones like.. pineapple, coconut, raspberry, grapple and a few others I can't remember.

I recently tried the Dark Chocolate and fell in love with it! Wow, rich and decadent. Can't vape it all day, but it is really nice by itself on occasion or mixed with some other flavors in small amounts. Delicious!

I also tried Spurberry... it's 'ok' for me. Not really special, but very good. Peach/Pineapple was a free sample and I can tell I'll like it more with +1 flavor shot. The Texas Sweet Tea is amazing after steeping for 2 weeks! Yummy! It also mixes well with fruit flavors.

I missed y'all! Trying to catch up, but it will take a while.
Sorry for your loss. I'm glad he went peacefully and that you got to spend time with him in his last moments.

I'm vaping Guava at the moment and... well, it tastes nothing like the fruit or the candy. What it really tastes like is muscat grapes, which is a-okay because I happen to love them. This ujice rocks.

So, now that I've tried each juice, I can confidently say that MBV has secured my business for the foreseeable future. Hawk Sauce and Guava will be 30ml orders next time around, they're just spectacular. Butter Pecan is not a go-to flavor for me personally, but is undeniably good and tastes true to its description; I'm just a bigger fan of fruitier flavors than expected!

Hawk Sauce is goood. Did not like it when I first ordered, so the bottle kinda sat on the sidelines. Couple weeks later, it was this crazy yellow, so I dripped it and was totally surprised by how tasty it was. Ordered a 50ml bottle on my next order.

And it's funny, but back when I started I was (like many) on the hunt for a tobacco ADV, and slowly got turned on to things like Almond, and Strawberry Shortcake, and sure enough, I am a dessert/bakery vaper now, with a fruit flavor thrown in here and there for good measure. I don't even like tobacco vapes in comparison anymore. Strange, just goes to show how much vaping is NOT smoking, I guess.

Morning, btw, Bakerites. Hope you all have a nice, stress-free, smokeless Friday. Sorry to hear about your father, Chaotic. Sending you good vibes...

i absolutely did not know that

i figured 3mm silica was too thick, and as i prefer cotton, i figured ekowool would be better. would 2mm ekowool w/o flavor wick work? or even 1mm ekowool alone? (what do you use for flavor wick? i'm using yarn)

I'm really liking the ekowool so far but it's just thicker. I'm just using a single 2mm silica for a flavor wick. I'm sure cotton would work just as well. Haven't tried going without a flavor wick using the ekowool but I suspect it might leak w/o one. Torch the ekowool real good before you cut it and it won't fray out as bad. It also will stiffen it so it is easier to wrap your coils on. I stick a pen or needle thru the hollow center while wrapping also.

In my opinion, Ekowool FAR outperforms regular silica. It's just far more durable and outlasts a typical silica wick by a week or more, and it wicks like a champ. I get outstanding performance from the stuff, and it's extremely easy to work with, albeit pricier.

I put in an order with HHV and it felt unsatisfying, 18ml for $22 shipped, equivalent to MBV 100+ ml including the freebie. I'm buying some hyped juices, peer pressure :)

Yeah, I have filled carts with other juice vendors, been ready to buy, then the frugal ....... I am will just say 'screw it' and head to MBV and get twice the juice. I was sad to find that a RY4 I won here at ECF and LOVE is over $20 for 30ml. I ... I just can't justify spending that, honestly. Especially when most of what I vape is DIY. I can make a TON of Praline Pecan or Pinon DIY for that price.

yay, your av is back to normal! well, kelli normal.

i must be in the bottom class too. DIYing @ 16% is near perfect.

getting some vg, gonna dilute all my juices to 10-12mg nic. after that, all at 0mg, excluding a tobacco flavor. i'll keep that around 10-12mg, if i feel i need a cig, i'll vape that. (it'll probably be nasty anyway )

3 months with no cigs, time to redress this whole thing. (way too much nic when you chain vape)

now, to just figure out re-coiling. been practicing, but gonna switch to 2mm ekowool silica wick, just cuz i'm not dextrous enuff to fuss with cotton. just gonna keep it simple.

vaping mostly ducle de leche, whipped cream and cinnamon roll. a couple more flavors and i'm set. :vapor:

I find that working with cotton is much easier than working with silica when re-coiling as it's much easier to roll the tip of the cotton to a point by wetting it a little to get it to pass through the coil, I find I don't really care too much for doing the coiling on the wick itself, however that said there are is the fact that silica last longer then silica does, but over time it can also splinter. Both methods have their pluses and minuses as does almost anything else in the world. lol

WHAT, who finds your avatar thing annoying? Since at this point I have quite a bit of time on my hands I would have no problem putting my foot up their ummmm.... well not gonna say! Whoever it is that doesn't like it, well that's their damn problem. Seems to me that most of us love your ave's!
