wow.. page 400 of the thread

I wonder if there's a page / post limit before we have to start a new one

I always use ECF as my code unless there's a sale.. lazy typist I guess

I don't have alot to add to the thread tonight.. managed to get the summer crud yesterday.. hit me in under 5 minutes .. but thankfully, so far, I can still taste my juice - just can't vape it much with my sore throat
*hack, wheeze, cough.. sniffle* yep.. one attractive vaper here.

I have a sure fire way to forget all about that crud feeling...go get a fifth of your favorite tequila, consume, and I can ensure you that the next morning you wont even remember about the crud!

In all seriousness I hope you feel better, I absolutly hate the crud moe than anything.

On a good note, I got all my DIY in yesterday and made a quick 5ml of butterscotch because everyone has been raving about it.

Caramel apple: I'm kind of shocked at this one. I know it has quite a fan base, and have read that it's good out of the mailbox. I don't like it :( I don't really know why, and I will certainly revisit it. Poured back.

Caramel Apple definitely needed steeping for me (65/35 +1 Flavor Shot). I didn't like it out of the mailbox: little to no caramel flavor and the apple was too artificial tasting. So I put it aside for awhile and didn't get back to it for about a month, and now it's just right. The strong apple flavoring has mellowed and the caramel comes through perfectly. It's possible it would've been just as tasty before those 4 weeks, but since I have so many other juices I love, and I hadn't liked it too much out of the box, I didn't really think about it again until then.

Those earrings make you ears look gauged, I dig it.
oh my that's unfortunate cause i HATE those things! :p
I don't think so. I can see it's a hoop. I don't like those ear deforming plug thingys either.

My lobes are currently at 2g now (6mm) but I plan to take them down to 0g (8mm) so I can get a nice pair of lotus flower tunnels and wear big, heavy tribal hoop earrings for performing. (I perform with an ATS Belly Dance troupe.) Any bigger than that and I too think it looks kinda yucky when it starts to transform the shape of your ear. 0g isn't really that big and still looks good as the hole size still fits within the standard size of any ear lobe.

BTW my vaping start was back in April of this year using a Smokeless Image Volt mini e-cig kit with cartomizers which I still use, especially when out and about. Fortunately I also got a sample pack from Halo at the same time and it was Tribeca which made me finally drop the clove kreteks for good. I still enjoy Tribeca to this day. :)

PS less than 50 pages to go now! LOL

I got my vapemail. It was in the box waiting for me when I woke up this morning
As per my usual I only have a small order, just large enough to get a free 15ml

All 3 were vaped in an Igo L with 2.5 mm silica wick doubled over and wrapped 6 times with 30 gauge Kanthal A-1 which made a 1.6 ohm coil on an Innokin SVD at 3.8 and 3.9 V through a new aluminum kong tip (ordered with the juices)

30ml 50/50 18mg +1 Watermelon. I got this one as a direct result of my wife and oldest daughter telling me my spurburry exhales smelled like watermelon gum.Five days of hearing that and I couldn't get watermelon out of my head. First impression is tons of vapor. More than I normally get at 50/50. No idea why. Sweet but not too sweet with a candy type watermelon flavor. Needs a good steep for sure. Good not great straight out of the mail. Putting it in the cabinet

30 ml 50/50 18mg +1 Melon baller. I'm a baller baaaaby, a melon baller. This one is very good out of the mail.Nice melon flavor with a honey sweetness on the inhale with a cantaloupe linger. This one right here will help ease my anxiety of running out of spurburry if they don't restock it soon. Like all MBV juice a good steep would do this good but it won't be going into the cabinet as I already am enjoying it. Just going to give it a good hot water bath this afternoon, shake it like crazy, and continue to use this one. Will continue to drip this one for now

15ml sample 50/50 18mg Butterscotch. Not something I would have ever ordered without the hype of this thread. I don't hate butterscotch by any means but not something that makes me want to vape it. I was most anxious to try this one so it was the last one I tried. It smells just like the little Brachs hard candies. Straight away on smell alone I knew this had potential. After a dry burn I dripped a couple drops onto coil capped and added 8 more drops. Did the blow through while firing to expel the melon flavor and took a vape. This one punched me in the throat. Started coughing and thinking this isn't for me, until the flavor took over my cough. Short pause, drink of water, mental note this one kicks hard, another draw. Sweet, mmmmm, flavorful, mmmmmm, exhale, mmmm mmmm, juicy candy yummmm. Has a weird smell on nostril hits and exhales out of the box due to no steeping, but this one is awesome. Not a knock my spurburry out of my Aga T2 tank awesome but a must buy. Going into my Iclear 30 just as soon as I clear it of White rabbit from AiV, and I do a hot water steep and shake. Absolutely lives up to the hype train. Tank bound and soon. This orders favorite and easily top 5 fave so far from MBV

Okay resurrecting another old convo, but I can't help myself, esp since I have direct experience with the 2 you asked about.

2, I hear everyone raving about butterscotch and I really want to try it but I have some Bandersnatch from AIV (butterscotch and banana supposedly) and it smells and tastes awful. Like butterscotch people raved about the bandersnatch and I just want to know if anyone had tried it and how does it compare to MBV butterscotch.

MBV's Butterscotch tastes nothing at all like AiV's Bandersnatch. Most people compare MBV's Butterscotch to those foil-wrapped Werther's candies, but I actually find it creamier than those. MBV's Butterscotch is a favorite of mine.

AiV's Bandersnatch on the other hand has hardly any taste to me. Even after a couple months of steeping, my Bandersnatch sample is so subtle and has very little flavor, and while not un-tasty (is that a word LOL), it's definitely not a favorite and doesn't taste much like butterscotch to me at all.

Last but not least anyone have a recommendation for a flavor that they really feel needs no extra flavor shots for my next freebie request. I typically get 2 extra in all my orders but then again Johnny Chimpo and Berry Sweet really seemed strong enough on their own so maybe I don;t need the 2 extra.

I got my Butterscotch with +1 at 65/35 but as others alluded to, I suspect this is one of the flavors that doesn't really require any extra shots as it's a very strong, in-your-face flavor. My thinking when ordering is that any diversion from the house 80/20 blend might require an extra shot, plus I love butterscotch, so I went with the extra shot on this one. I'll probably go with a 50/50 blend next time I order it though, but still wouldn't do more than +1. I know several people like it without any extra shots at all though.

I plan on ordering the Johnny Chimpo for the first time without any shots either as most everyone has liked their sample as is, without the extra shots, and it sounds like another one of those strong flavors which doesn't require it.

PS - is anyone out here interested in my Pineapple Upside Down Cake (6mg 65/35 +1 Flavor Shot) or Ocean Breeze (6mg 65/35 no shots). I'm really not digging either of them and would rather have them go to a home where they could be enjoyed so I'd happily send em off to you free. I know there's a PIF thread for this kind of thing, but I thought I'd rather offer them up here first so that an MBV fan might take advantage of my generosity. :)

Just placed an order with some restocks of some of my faves, but also some new ones.
Had to try butterscotch since it's raved about so much on here.
I ordered some sticky bun because since I didn't like cinnamon roll, I've heard this is an amazing alternative.
Ordered Big Red because one can't be from the midwest and not love it haha.
Double Apple and Saltwater Taffy, just to see.

I also, once again, tried my hand at MYO.
"Vanilla Cream"
7 parts Vanilla Custard
2 parts Banana
2 parts Graham Cracker
1 part Bavarian Cream
Anyone think this mix will turn out well for me?

I have been wanting to try ocean breeze but it keeps getting bumped out by the most talked about flavors in here

The "normal" gauge for earrings is typically 18-20. The lower the number, the bigger the gauge. 2g is a bit of stretching the lobe.

Personally, I only went down to 12 gauge about ten years ago, and I still have visible holes in my ears today that could easily fit 18 gauge without piercing it again. Oh the rebellious years.

Back on topic sort of: I have two different flavor profiles for dripping vs tank with Sticky Bun. Dripping only gives me cinnamon while the tank presents the rest of the flavor. Anyone else experience this?

Lucky you, I got an oder form July 3rd and in it was a giant bottle of Banana Cream Pie, when I got to the mailbox I could smell it from 10 feet away and got worried. Once opened all of the labels where wet and torn I was so ticked off and then I saw my BNC an there was less than 1ml missing. Amazing how so little liquid could cover so much stuff. Oddly enough they seal the big bottles with a foil cap and I couldn't find a leak anywhere. I wonder if some overflowed on filling and never got clean

I wonder if it might've gotten put on a plane going across the country. (I dunno, does the USPS actually use airplanes for intra-US travel?) But since I can personally vouch for the fact that when exposed to the pressure changes from flying, those bottles can leak a bit anywhere a teensy bit of air can get in.

You guys know that I am a big fan of MBV, but sometimes, a juice that I want to be good just doesn't do it for me. Case in point, Whipped Cream. I bought a 30ml, 12mg, 50-50, 2 extra flavor shots, its been steeping over a month, and it just doesn't taste right to me, even as a mixer.

All in all, I have bought over 30 MBV flavors, and I would say that I am very happy with at least 25 of them, so the law of averages is still in my favor. Banana Cream Pie is ok, but tastes too much like pie crust and not enough like bananas and cream (and yes, I have tried to mix a little of the whipped cream into it). Also not a huge fan of Ecto Cooler, even though it gets raves.

I will probaby put some of the ones that I know I wont vape on the PIF juice swap in the next few days, so look out if you are interested.

****UPDATE - I Put 5 Juices on the PIF Juice Swap Thread - Wanted my MBV Fan Friends to know that it was there, in case you are interested****

I'm with you @thewritestuff. I like MBV but some of the high rated e-juices have not been good to me. I ordered Cinnamon Bun and let it steep for 3 weeks and I don't like it. Similarly with Graham Cracker, Caramel Coffee, Peanut Butter Cup and White Razz Mocha.

My favorites are so far are Blue Moo, Snickers Type and Spearmint. I am waiting on an order with Whipped Cream to mix into the Caramel Coffee and White Razz Mocha so I hope I like that as a mixer, otherwise, I don't think I will be able to finish the ones I don't like too much.

I also ordered the Tiramisu, yellow cake, banana cream pie and pineapple upside down cake.

I would love your PUDcake. Are you interested in swapping for a 15mg. bottle, unused of black clove, 12mg., 80/20. Got it as a sample a few weeks ago and didn't even try it. PM me if interested.

Mine are at 2g as well, might take them down to 0g but any further and they have a hard time closing up when you get older. Not that I really plan on taking them out, will be rocking them late into my 80's thanks to vaping :) Do you do any fire dancing, those women are something else.
