Just ordered my first DIY mixes...three of 'em. Two I got from the review section, (I wish more people would post their recipes!) and the other I designed based on a drink my dad makes...The Painkiller:

4 parts Pineapple juice
2 parts Rum
1 part Cream of Coconut
1 part Orange juice
poured over ice with nutmeg sprinkled on top

On MBV, I did:
2 Pineapple
2 Rum
1 Coconut
1 Tangerine (orange juice flavor was not in the drop down menu...)

I chickened out on trying to adjust for the nutmeg. First, it doesn't need even one whole part and second, I have no idea what could sub for it, as they don't have that flavor. Any ideas? I could get a bottle of something that might spice it up a little, just add a drop or two to a tank, maybe?

I swear, in just over two weeks, this has become a sickness.:vapor:

I did my first one as well on my last order:
2 parts sweet cream, 1 part each:blueberry, canteloupe, honeydew, pineapple. I want a fruity creamy juice!

Haha no problem. Drink sounds amazing by the way, hope you have luck with the juice. I rarely drink, it's kind of a vacation thing for me, but my drinks are usually rum with juice, so delicious.

Oh, yes indeed...it's almost exclusively a "only-when-we-are-on-the-beach" drink. Somehow, it just isn't a beach vacation without it, but it's just a bit too heavy for sitting on the back porch in Tennessee. :) I recommend that if you do try it, make sure to get the liquid cream of coconut in a squeeze bottle instead of the basically solid version in a can. *gag*

ETA: Dark, non-spiced rum is a MUST. We like Jamaican.

Oh, it tastes great, actually...but if you want to drink slow (to avoid opal's barstool problem! ha) and refrigerate the big pitcher full, that stuff solidifies and is impossible to smooth out without a hand blender. And it's especially gross when you don't realize it's solidified on you.

I've used fresh coconut water from a young green coconut....same taste but not as fatty or thick.

My big vacation every year is a condo on the beach in Ocean City, MD, every September. My fridge is usually stocked with rum and vodka and various juices. Sometimes I get coconut too. I've cut a lot of things out of my diet and I don't think the coconut will fit in lol but I may make an exception.

If anyone wants an exception low calorie/carb drink option, I make margaritas with Patron Silver (can use other tequila but it needs to be clear and higher end) splash of Cointreau, and fresh squeezed limes. It's wayyy better than the sugary sweet margarita mixes, very fresh and light, but it'll hit you! Not one to chug, it's a sitting on the beach or porch relaxing with friends summer drink.

Hmm... Tequila, orange, lime... Maybe I'll make a custom vape to match it!

:danger: The hubby discovered how yummy Butterscotch is. Of course he makes this discovery when the bottle is almost empty :( Since its the closest thing I have to an ADV I'm hoping the 15 ml bottle I filled for myself lasts til Friday.
It's awesome to see James back along with my favorite flavors.

I refuse to be without Butterscotch.

Three words. Witness. Protection. Program.

Change your name and move to another state. No butterscotch for him.
