I'm about 6.5 mls of MBV Butterscotch +1 in on a fresh protank coil w/evod post in my Vision Victory bcc 5ml tank.
It hasn't started tasting funky or lessened vapor production yet.

I've been using the same half dozen or so original evod coils since July.
I soak them for hours in HOT water after every tank and dry burn them every couple of tanks.

I wanted a fresh coil for my VV tank dedicated to MBV BS so made this hybrid yesterday.
Butterscotch is cleaner than you'd think.

I haven't tried the butterscotch yet but that was on my list. I guess I'll start cleaning them more often. I usually go through 2 tanks or so in my evod before I clean. I need to get in the daily groove of cleaning, as of yet I haven't found what works best for me. Thanks for the suggestion

Well I made a huge order at WL for nic and vg and MBV for flavors. Gonna get really into DIY. Excited!!!!

DIY's the bomb!

Start off with smaller batches than you want.
It's easy to get excited and make 64 of this and 128 of that.
I cut down to 32ml batches for a few months but now I've been PIF bunches to my disabled buddy.
I make 16ml batches now as a rule.

DIY is an awesome area to get into, whole new level of appreciation for really good/quality juices. I probably DIY around 70% (use to be higher but MBV's prices are good enough that I can't really justify saving a few pennies on the ones I/we like) of our staple juices. It's addictive for sure :)

I've been having a hard time with finding flavors that don't gunk up my coil too much. I've been vaping only a short while, and have ordered from MBV 2x, and have a cart going now. I like the sweet flavors- caramel, eggnog, vanilla, but find I can only get a day or so out off coil (that's with cleaning/dry burning) before its toast. Any rec's for flavors that are sweet (not really fruity) that have less of an impact on coils? I'm in testing mode, and I'm aware taste is subjective, but I'd like some suggestions.

That's why I rebuild my own BCC heads with cotton. I typically get about 2-3 tanks before I have to wash off the head, pull the cotton, pulse the coil, and replace the cotton wick. With RDA's I don't change the wick/coil unless I run out of a flavor, have a Igo-L that has had the same Root Beer wick/coil for 2 months and still wicks really well.

Funny you say that, I just rebuilt my first coil 3 days ago. Only one, but it worked perfectly, much to my surprise. I just used a cotton ball for a wick, since I didn't have anything else when I got the kanthal in. Do the coils last longer than the stock ones? I seriously need to fit in some coil time into my schedule, but it's difficult with my 2 year old running around.

try soaking the heads in vodka or everclear for a few hrs. then dry and dry burn. that might help.

I have been rotating the same coils in my BCC heads for the last 3 months and haven't seen much degradation. Once you build a coil for BCC's you don't have to worry about them for a long time and replacing the cotton is so quick and easy. But I always carry a spare stock head with me to work in my computer bag, just in case. I also have a 2 year old running around, single dad, and building coils at night gives me a bit of stress relief.

Some heads must just last longer than others. I think I have put probably close to 200ml through the coil of my Smok Tech ARO. It's the stock 2.4 ohm too. I only clean it about once every 5 days to a week too. I've even put some pretty dark juices through it.

The CE4/5s I started with my first couple weeks vaping died in like 4-5 days each.

I've just had too many issues with Kanger stock heads, a lot of garbage but I like the vape/ease of Protank at work so I just rebuild them to my liking. They perform so much better as a micro with cotton, 1.8-2.0 ohms.

Have seen so many things here in ECF about how good MBV is, and just made my first order to them late last night (4 or 5 flavors). This morning it is SHIPPED! Can't wait. My first 3 mail orders (I started at a local B&M to buy equip and some juice) were to AiV, Virgin Vapors, and Heather's Heavenly. Virgin came first, and I was super impressed (compared to the juice at my B&M). Both them and Heather's had much more of a TH and flavors much more complex than the local place. I couldn't wait for the "everything" sample pack from AiV -- who wouldn't fall in love with a place with a cool name like that? It came much later and I haven't found a one yet that I'd order again :-( One of the VV juices and ONE of the HHV juices have become my "all day favorites"....I am hoping to get some awesome stuff from MBV!

Anyway, I assume the MBV stuff will get here on Thurs or Friday and am really looking forward to it and glad to be here with you guys!

I've bought several from them so far-
Teaberry
Couramin Pipe
Salted caramel
Eggnog
East coast tobacco
Morning vape

They're all good, east coast is still needs steeping after 3 weeks. Eggnog is probably my fave out of all of them, but I still haven't found one that's an ADV. I'm thinking of buying the following next time around-
Butterscotch
Berry creamy
Vanilla butternut +1
T Razz
Black currant+1
I may just split it into 2 orders and add one more to get 2 free samples but I can't decide on another one.

Based on this thread, I put in my first order with Mt Baker yesterday. Orange and Cream, Vanilla Tobacco, Hazelnut and Moo Juice. Price is half or less than what I've been paying locally...

Just be aware that the Vanilla Tobacco is going to require a very long steep time, the Hazelnut should steep for 2 weeks, but that is my personal preference for those 2, can't comment on the other but I am sure others can.

What flavors did you order from MBV?
