Oh man. Exciting day, hello everyone. About to drop an order on MBV for some essentials and a K-100 for my lady. So proud of her, in just under 2 months she has gone from smoking near a pack a day to vaping a ViVi on a Twist, to my old Vamo with a cheapy RDA, to handing me money to order her a mech. She's also been doing her own research and has shown an interest in DIY. Can you believe she wants to try a 'gin' flavored ejuice? Yeah, and the girl drinks maybe once a month, maybe two glasses of wine.

Yeah, and this mailman was a noob. Never seen him before. He was mighty cool, though. Got a couple more 650s, a Nitecore i2 charger, sweet black and silver Captivape driptip, misc. O-rings and some other miscellany.
Very happy with how my lady made the switch. She's taken to it like a duck to water, now we just need to get her mom off cigs and then start the daunting task of getting my folks to switch, if not just use them to cut way back. They are too damn old and have been smoking too damn long to keep it up. I'd like to have them around another 15-20 years, versus ... well, you get the picture.

How long did you let it steep? I get pure Andes mint from mine, second bottle of it here and I love it!! I let mine steep 3 weeks before I even tried it. Took the top cap off for the first 48 hrs., stored it in the cupboard, and shook it every couple days or so. Chocolate and mint are the only 2 flavors I get from mine.
Edited to add: You got me wondering, so I filled a tank and am wondering if I don't detect just a wee hint of banana?? And I don't like banana at all, but this is such a tasty vape. Maybe it's more complex than I originally thought!!

That's always been my guess, as well. Or perhaps flavors that aren't flying off the shelf. I've started asking for various flavors to try that I'm curious about versus doing the MBV lottery, haha. Not that I've had any true duds, but I know what I like and what I want to try, and many of my requests I've ordered in larger bottles.
Finally ordered some Thug Juice today. 6mg at max VG, went for the 30mg bottle because I pretty confident I'm going to like it. Been hearing enough about it I had to give it a try. Asked for Pina Colada this time as my freebie, got some Unicorn Blood from another vendor as a freebie and am shocked I like coconut so much. It mixes with Afternoon Delight in the best of ways. I am not a fan of the real deal, but coconut is damn tasty in vapor form.
This was a fun order to make, got the K-100 for my babe, an IGO-W and AGR+ for me (she's getting one of my IGO-L's), cartos, MORE batteries, and some sexy, sexy juice. It's been an expensive month, but I am kinda vaping for two now. Which is more than fine, she's slowly realizing just how much all this stuff costs. She's basically got all my Egos and clearos, since I don't use them anymore, and my Vamo has been keeping her happy this past week or so. Not to mention the 200 odd milliliters of juice I've given her, it amounts to 'not chump change'.

It got to me on the 26th or 27th of August and I had let it steep (cap off one day and put in cupboard, shaken every day after that and stored in big box o' juice) until I tried it earlier on today. I definitely like it, it's just more than what I was expecting.

good rule of thumb on MBV is 2-3 week steep. that said, there are always some flavors that taste good right out of the mail. they usually just get better. I'm loving the Shenanigans today!!

Haha, I just like seeing the journey. Knowing my stuff is on the way is comforting, and a bit like Christmas WHENEVER I WANT (or can afford, more likely). My order that came today was a surprise, the tracking page said nothing about it being out for delivery, although I knew it was in town.
OOOOoooo!!!....I got the new Bolt that I ordered!

Vape mail! Got my flavorings in! I asked for a flavoring as a sample, wasn't sure if they did it or not, but I got the flavor I wanted, in a juice, so not too shabby. Got some nic unflavored, and some pg/vg, and more WC, because I can never have enough. I should have just bought the 236ml bottle of WC, maybe next time
After reading so many positive reviews on Mount Baker Vapor, I decided to give them a shot and to put it mildly, I was highly disappointed. I ordered Vanilla Custard, Butterscotch and Butter Pecan. To me, all 3 flavors have a disgusting chemical taste and leave a horrible aftertaste in your mouth. The Butter Pecan was so bad that I tossed it into the trash can out of frustration. I cant tolerate either one. It was a total waste of money. I will say that the shipping was extremely fast and there was a 15ml free sample included but unfortunately, that's the only positive thing that I can say about Mount Baker Vapor. I'll let this stuff steep for a month or so but it would have to make an awful drastic change for me to consider vaping it and I doubt very seriously if that happens. Another batch of worthless juice!!!
To each their own. I steep just about everything I get from them, no complaints, and
I'm satisfied.
Finished off the Bananas Gone Nuts last night, and then the big decision, what bottle

Give MBV's stuff some time to steep, Dave379, not all of their stuff is good right out of the box. If you look on the labels you will see the 'Mfg Date', it's usually the day you ordered. Steeping can take from a couple days to a week or three depending on the juice.
Sorry to hear you didn't like your juice, but again, give it some time you might be pleasantly surprised. Good luck to you.
I'm sure Terre will chime in about steep times on butterscotch. I've never had any of these flavors to comment. Not sure what you're used to vaping (but would be curious to hear), but I almost exclusively vape MBV and Ahlusion. Both i've found I CAN vape most right out of the mail, but 1-2 weeks later they become amazing. Then again, some people love ecblends and high desert vapes, and i've let their juice steep for 2 months and it's still garbage. That said, I have had to throw out two MBV juices. Red Apple, and Canteloupe because they never lost their extremely strong acetone smell.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with MBV. Did you steep your juices? Any extra flavor shots? Steeping is a very important part of the process and 2-3 weeks is recommended. Of course, not everyone can like every juice. Most folks here have multiple juices they really love from the company, as you can probably tell by the length of this thread. Rather than throwing out the juices, you might want to consider PIF-ing them to someone who might like them. There is a PIF thread on the forums and after you've had 50 posts you can become verified and have access to the classifieds, where you can sell or trade your juices. Have a great day!
