good rule of thumb on MBV is 2-3 week steep. that said, there are always some flavors that taste good right out of the mail. they usually just get better. I'm loving the Shenanigans today!!

I haven't tried anything right out of the mail yet. Shenanigans is good, but I ended up vaping Pumpkin Cookie for most of the day.

Thought I'd share this as it was shared with me and so many are attempting DIY lately. This is the easiest e-juice calculator ever!!

it's not fancy, but hey it works for me. my first simple juice is sitting there ;) i'm sure there are more complex calculators out there, but i'm not interested in them, at the moment. Lol baby steps for me.

well....dang!....hang in there! the rain only makes things seem worse in the fall. losing light during the day this time of year makes me day sleepy and if you notice, most of my posts are between 2pm and 6am, coz that's how my inner clock interprets 'day'....it's about noon for me now!!

Hi Roonies, well so far it's a losing battle, however the war isn't over yet! :2cool: It's rainy and gloomy here today, wish I could sleep, but not sure I know what that even is. lol

After reading so many positive reviews on Mount Baker Vapor, I decided to give them a shot and to put it mildly, I was highly disappointed. I ordered Vanilla Custard, Butterscotch and Butter Pecan. To me, all 3 flavors have a disgusting chemical taste and leave a horrible aftertaste in your mouth. The Butter Pecan was so bad that I tossed it into the trash can out of frustration. I cant tolerate either one. It was a total waste of money. I will say that the shipping was extremely fast and there was a 15ml free sample included but unfortunately, that's the only positive thing that I can say about Mount Baker Vapor. I'll let this stuff steep for a month or so but it would have to make an awful drastic change for me to consider vaping it and I doubt very seriously if that happens. Another batch of worthless juice!!!

Well, here again is why it's stated over and over and over to let things steep! It's stated on their website, stated in many, many threads, these things are made to order so if you didn't let them steep, yes they may start out with a chemical taste, when I first started I had the same thoughts, but that is where the research came in handy and thankfully I didn't throw them away and gave them time to mature and glad I did as even after just one week most started coming into their own and even more time on some of them came to be ones I don't want to be without Not trying to sounds rude or anything here, just stating facts and before you threw that one juice out you could have checked with people first or at the very least offered it up for a trade or PIF! All of the ones you got well with maybe the exception to the Butterscotch typically need steeping. Sorry that you had a bad experience. I just find it terribly disappointing that people are so quick to make a call without checking out if the juices need steeping first as quite a few do, some require a long steep times others a few days other maybe a week or 2 and ones like tobacco can take a month to 6 weeks. It's just the nature of the beast and needs to be understood.

True, last night was the first night I was able to try to get some sleep before 3am, fell asleep at around 3:30 or so and woke up at 5:30!

Drove me crazy at first.:rolleyes:
I knew all juices need to steep, so I'm ordering from internet to save money and still buying from b&m at same time to have juice!
Finally, got it all together now and am very loyal to MBV.

I tried to vape the 2 free samples I got from mbv but I just can't seem to enjoy the taste because of the 12mg nic level. I know, I'm a ...... 6mg is sometimes too much to handle.

I used to play what someone here referred to as the MBV lottery....
Place my order, hope I got a sample and took what came.
Then I found out that I could request my flavor of sample....now, I put mg. and ratio in the comment box as well. :)

Hi guys - I need some advice on flavors.

Background - my son told his best friend about my experience with vaping and the friend has expressed interest. My son would like me to put together a beginner package for him along with a setup of juices. Money is not an object but time is. My son wants to give it to him ASAP.

I already have extra hardware - I'll include two (plain black) ego 1300mAh batteries and half-a-dozen CE4 clearos (different colors). I'd like to have half-a-dozen juices (keep it simple, one flavor per clearo).

He smokes 'red menthols' (???) I'm thinking this is Marlboro, right? My son (who is not a vaper) suggested flavors that try to mimic the 'red menthol' flavor as much as possible. Of course I explained the whole taste thing, etc. so he says just get whatever I think best.

I'm thinking maybe a 1) tobacco, 2) tobacco/menthol, 3) fruit/menthol, 4) bakery, and a couple of others. Preferably juice that doesn't need to steep forever - a day or two is fine.

What would you get??

PS - this friend is technical-minded and a tinkerer - I fully expect him to end up here in the mod forums. :)

PPS - I should have mentioned that I'm specifically looking for MBV juice suggestions.
