I'm getting ready to settle down with a football game. an italian sub featuring ham, salami, capicola and provolone, and a 6 pack of Heinekin. My uncle followed all that healthy living, never ate meats, dairy, alchohol....the healthiest SOB that ever stepped of the curb and got run over by a bus! :D

then he forgot what our moms used to tell us back in the day:

always look both ways before you cross the street, and always wear clean underwear because you never know when you will end up in the hospital! :p

yes, but you are still young. older folks need to take a serious look at all the "sugars" they consume.

i cut back on juicing cuz my liquid intake is extremely limited due to very bad congestive heart failure. i get 1 cup of fake coffee and a couple of swigs of filtered water each day. but that water tastes awesome! (although i dream about root beer, just don't drink it :()

hey kelli, love the new av!

haha yeah i'm not that old ;) i consume massive amounts of natural sugars. some people would gain weight, but i seem to just burn most of it off lol.
ugh water. i can't stand drinking water. i really only drink juice, coffee, or wine lol

You and my spoose would get along really well!! We're in the land of hogies and he loves the Italian one. He'd probably be drinking jug wine or Pusser's Rum and o.j. though.....ya gotta drink Pusser's Rum if you're a sailor dude!! They used to give the troops, from somewhere that I forget, around 40 oz., or some such unbelievable amount of ration, daily to keep them fighting. Hell's bells....can you imagine??!! true story. I'm hoping Dusty will come along and wiki that story for us since my spoose went to the seashore and can't elaborate for me.....I really should know this since I've heard the story about 100 times in 11 years....heehee....

What are everyone's favorite fruity vapes from mount baker? I'm thinking about buying a 50ml bottle of Green Apple @ either 80 or 100% pg. Any advice?

i never had the apple, but i enjoy most of their fruits. strawberry, watermelon, pear, guava, blackberry, blueberry. SPURBURRY is the ultimate fruit. I can't even describe it. I'm convinced there's pear, and stuff in it. Very good.
moo juice is a little more complex than straight strawberry, and very good. i'm loving that and strawberry shortcake.
blue moo is like blueberry milk, its good, but i prefer moo juice over it.
peach and mango are very true to taste.
and everything tastes better with WHIPPED CREAM!
Enjoy!

I like the deck on the Igo-L because it has a pool at the bottom so you can't easily overdrip and make a mess, however I find it kind of difficult to build a coil on it because you have to wrap the wire around the post as opposed to feeding it through a guide hole. Still looking for the perfect dripper I guess.

Yeah that's my only complaint with the -L as well, almost need an additional trained appendage :?: like the side holes in the posts much better, but it's still a darn good atty :)

Nimbus maybe? : D

He's British? I just looked it up and found out it was issued by the Royal Navy.

"Pusser's is a brand name of rum produced by Pussers Rum Ltd. Pusser is Royal Navy slang for a purser, a ship's supply officer, now called a Logistics Officer, in the Royal Navy; thus the word became naval slang for "one hundred per cent Service", as in "pusser's issue", meaning anything that is supplied by the Royal Navy, such as a "pusser's grip", the name given to a canvas bag that sailors may use instead of a suitcase (it folds flat and is thus easy to stow on board ship). Pusser's Rum is sometimes known as Nelson's blood, in honor of Horatio Nelson, one of the greatest Royal Navy commanders in history.
In 1979, nearly a decade after the Royal Navy abandoned the custom of the daily tot of rum, company founder Charles Tobias obtained the rights to blending information associated with the naval rum ration and formed the company to produce the spirit according to the original Admiralty recipe, a blend of five West Indian rums without colouring agents. The Royal Navy Sailor's Fund, a Navy charity, receives royalties from the proceeds of each bottle of the rum sold, and that is now the charity's largest source of income apart from the founder's original bequest.
The Royal Navy issued the last tot to 'the fleet' on 31 July 1970."

Yeah, I actually get Dr. Mercola's daily email and do all of that stuff. I've been actively juicing for almost 3 years now. I've learned a LOT. You're preaching to the choir buddy!! Not to get too side railed, how does anyone like the new sherbert that's been given out as samples lately? It sounds really good to me...just wondering which three fruit flavors it has. I could probably almost make it myself from my stash of juices.

here's an interesting article by Dr Mercola on juicing.

Juicing | What are the Health Benefits of Juicing?

times have changed, he recommends lemons and limes instead of carrots, apples and beets (because of their high fructose level), which is exactly what i recommend!

oh well, i learned juicing...30 years ago. time to get with the times i reckon.

my juicer is an ancient jack lalane jobby. Dr Mercola has a few nice ones on his site.

along with juicing. adding good fats to your diet is a plus, esp organic virgin coconut oil. i cook with that a sprinkle w/cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.

if you eat meat, go with grass fed, organic only. not factory farm foods, they will kill you (they're almost designed to kill you)

same with butter, from grass fed cows, no bgh or pesky pesticides.

even if you reduce what you eat, everything tastes better!

I'm going to IKEA tomorrow. I didn't know they had cat condos! I got a couple little cat houses there though. I got these 2 big cat condos online. They're Amarakat brand....who knew there were a bazillion choices? Vaping created this crazy "order everything online" thing in me. I just like getting something in the mail every week instead of friggen' funeral plans and mail for my dead mother in law.

obviously roonies got the ikea cat condo.

Pusser's is a brand name of rum produced by Pussers Rum Ltd.

The Royal Navy issued the last tot to 'the fleet' on 31 July 1970. Since then, this has been known in Royal Naval Slang as the 'Black Day'. The remaining rum stocks were put up for auction. They were bought by Brian Cornford and shipped to Gibraltar and held in a secure bonded warehouse. As each visiting Royal Navy ship visited Gibraltar it was the task of Cornford and his General Manager, John Kania, to supply individual, wax-dated, corked, wicker-covered demijohns containing full strength (approx 110 proof) to the ships. When the individual gallon jars were finally sold, the large wooden barrels were tapped. It was found that over the years some of the contents in each wood barrel had evaporated, and diluted the strength to a slight degree, though some would say it simply mellowed. The barrelled rum was decanted into litre bottles and sold primarily to RN, RAF and Army messes and selected local Gib pubs.

Some Genuine Royal Navy Rum still pops up in premium auction houses, and apart from the collectability aspect, the contents are vintage, and because of the wax seal is still as powerful as the day it was bottled. It is rarely seen, though bought at auction (the last time for GBP 1250) for special ceremonial events. This is not to be confused with the commercially bottled Pussers Rum seen on supermarket shelves dated after 1970.

Part of the reason Pusser's Rum has been successful, some say,[who?] is because it has some characteristics in common with a scotch whisky, despite it being distilled from molasses. This may have been a result of the British Navy developing a scotchlike rum to meet the tastes of enlisted men at the time.

In the decades leading up to "The Black Day", it became common for Royal Navy Sailors to give a portion of their rum ration to a shipmate on their birthday, or for a favour. The donor would indicate how much he was allowing the other to take with one of the following phrases:

"Sippers" - Take a Sip.
"Gulpers" - Take a Gulp.
"Sandy Bottoms" - Drink it all.
