Right there with ya Sean on the once a month paydays.. been trying to squirrel some away for a few months so I can participate this year.. shhh.. don't tell hubby I'm a squirrel.
I try to squirrel some away every year, and every year we have some emergency that wipes me out. This year it was the van's engine literally blowing up as mom was following the ambulance to the ER... at the time, we were just glad she didn't end up joining me in the ambulance, but it means we've got a car payment for the first time in about ten years, and since our credit is shot due to medical bills, said car payment is ridiculous. I'll refi it as soon as I can, but that won't be for several months yet... in the meantime, it makes tucking money away difficult. I can use *some* of what we were spending on cigs for juice, but most of it gets sucked up by the car payment.
My birthday gift from mom was the MVP 2, of course, so that's the discretionary cash for this month. I wouldn't have it any other way, cause I adore this thing, but it means Black Friday sales are once again frustrating. I should get some birthday cash from dad this weekend, but I always hang onto it for a little while cause unforeseen things tend to crop up this time of year... we'll see. My mantra for the last 15 years or so has been "All the bills are paid and we're all still alive, ergo there are worse problems to have than no spending money."
order in today though.. running out of some faves - which means under 50ml these days.. couldn't wait for extreme ice to get back.. wonder if James has his own stash of that put away.. should have asked that they raid it for a sample hehehe
Next time, give it a shot! I asked for Peanut Butter Cup as a sample while it was out of stock and got it, even though it didn't come back in stock for about another week and a half. James really does go the extra mile with that sort of thing.
he only does one flavor.. from another company.. a tobacco flavor, and I've tried to get him on several of MVB's tobaccos.. failed - he's a dark horse guy.. occasionally taking a short moment or two with my candy cane vape if he's stuffy.
I keep meaning to pick up some tobaccos, more for mom than me, but MBV has so many I haven't been able to decide. Time to start asking for those as my samples, I spose, and work my/our way through 'em. I'd like to try that other vendor, too, but it's looking like it'll be two or three months before I can swing that... first priority vape wise is always going to be staying stocked up on MBV, and I've already got four "must have on hand"s and several more "will miss this when it's gone"s.
