Oh please, no need to apologize. It's all good to me!! You're right about Todd, though. He IS apples and oranges at different times. I had no idea how versatile he was. One thing is for sure....he's a performer to the end!! I know he's your fave, right? Well, I may not resonate with everything he does, but I definitely like a lot of it and recognize his huge talent. And yeah....John Paul White looks exactly like Johnny Depp...kind of blew me away the first time I saw them. I have this thing for tragic sad songs. I think that's why I love them so much!! And, I'm seriously trying to change my sleep patterns around with the help of a med the doc gave me, so this is early evening for me. I've been getting to sleep by 3 or 3:30am the last few nights, a definite improvement, then trying to get up early and just be tired as hell by night time. I end up being drowsy all day long and getting that ole second wind at about 8 or 9pm....it's a work in progress....but it sure has messed me up. Who knew sleep dep was so bad for ya?!!!

Welcome to the thread of MBV lovers!! It's a good place to be! I've never had cheesecake but am so curious as to how it ends up after a good steep. Usually the dairy type flavors need a good 2 weeks or longer. You get a free sample with any order over $15....I think that's the amount. Hi and welcome. I order my juices from MBV a month ahead of time (at least).
I take the caps off and squeeze the bottles a little to get in air, then shake
twice a day for the first 48 hours. After that the caps go on and the bottles
get shaken once daily. Enjoy.

I hope I still get a sample of some sort though Maybe he'll be nice because I'm a first time customer. I can't believe his prices, they're awesome. With prices like that I may become a regular customer of his! 30ml of fluid for $7.49, that's unheard of! I got a 50/50 mix so I'm hoping it has a little throat hit and tons and tons of vapor. I also ordered an ismoka bcc mega today too so I am really looking forward to my vapemail next week! I've never used anything besides the cartridges that came in my ego-c kit so I am excited to try something new. Thanks again guys! Oh by the way, what state is he in? I am in western NY so I wonder how long my order will take to get here...

todd has some similar mental/social issues as i do. when todd decides to do something, he's generally trying to put the feelings in his brain into production. he's close to not being interested in what people might think about his work. he makes the stuff the he considers art (at the moment). he was always a producer, that is how he made his money. his records were made despite vast protest from the record company at times. he didn't care.

many is the time that i would pick up something new and think, "what the heck is this?". some time later it's, "oooh, i get it!"

a lot of his stuff is therapy for me. once "i get it", i love it. that piece i posted last night is bizarre, 36 minutes and no words. today, it is like a lullaby to me. i have it on cd, but it's the 2nd half. when i want to hear Treatise, i don't want to hear the first half of the album.

i didn't like the "Liars Live" dvd, when it first came out. now it seems like every groove/note is in exactly the right spot!

i like Nearly Human when it came out and the tour as well. but it was Todd the singer, not Todd the guitar player. i was a little "eh" about the whole thing. now, i think it's a masterpiece.

Roy Firestone asked him why he consistently sabotages himself when he makes stuff, why he "avoids" making hits. Todd said he'd rather err on the side of art! he also said, "i want to make a record that i'm going to want to here 10 or 20 years from now, not just something that sounded good at the moment so i can sell records.

my new stress is robbing me of sleep. my new wake-up time seems to be 2:30 in the morning!
more than likely, i'll be posting some strange stuff. why suffer alone!

They ship super fast, too. I put in a midnight order on a Tuesday and it was in my mailbox by Thursday afternoon, WA to GA. Can't beat their prices, or their customer service.

One of these days I'll be able to let everything steep for a month, but that would require not vaping it all up before the month is out, which so far has been impossible. I'm lucky if I make it a week before I start cracking the bottles open. Thank God for hot water steeping.

Create your own flavor help needed

Attempting to do this for my first time, but I don't want to screw up.

here are my ideas so far:

Juice 1 = Rasprberry + Peach + White Chocolate + Cheesecake + Sweetner = Fruitylicous Cheesecake

Juice 2 = Pumpkin Spice + Brown Sugar + Cheesecake = Pumpkin Cheesecake

How do they sound to you guys?

And also, how should I do the "parts" of each for a 6 part bottle? Should I evenly distribute each flavor or what?

I think your #2 juice would work well. Pumpkin spice by itself is very pumpkiny and heavy on the spice - I love it, but by itself, it burns out my tastebuds after an hour or so. mixing it with about 20% sticky bun rounds it out and gives it a sweeter note, which I like quite a bit. I imagine brown sugar would accomplish the same end. I would try it at about 3 parts pumpkin spice, 2 parts cheesecake and 1 part brown sugar, but others with more experience might have a better idea as to ratios.

Since I haven't had any of the juices in your Juice 1, I'll leave that one for others to advise you.

Edit: To explain my ratios a bit - So far, I've found that dairy flavors tend to provide a great creaminess, but also tone down any other flavors - which can be a good or a bad thing depending on what you like. I like stronger flavors, which is why I'd go Pumpkin Spice 3, Cheesecake 2, Brown Sugar 1.... if you like more mild flavors, you might prefer Pumpkin Spice 2, Cheesecake 3, Brown Sugar 1.

I've vaped a fair amount of moo juice. I don't touch it for at least 1-2 weeks. I don't like the buttery smell that all the cream flavors arrive with. (its any juice with sweet cream in it) After 2 weeks that smell/taste is completely gone and it's moo juice! It is very similar to strawberry cream and im vaping it right now

I'm slowly coming to that conclusion too, Mia. It's making me nuts... there must be some kind of additive in certain companies' bases that I'm sensitive to, because it doesn't seem to be a PG/VG thing. Whatever it is, it's not present in MBV juice... I have flavors that I reach for more than others, but I've yet to come across a MBV flavor that I physically couldn't vape. I'm about 1 for 4 when it comes to *other* companies in terms of whether I can vape their stuff without having a reaction. One of the most frustrating things about it is that I'm usually fine for the first 8-10 hits, sometimes even more than that. Not a problem at home - I've learned to drip for a while before I load up a tank - but it makes sampling at B&Ms more difficult, trying to make sure I vape *enough* to make a good judgment about whether it'll bug me or not. Maddening.

I vape my MBV in a pyrex vivi nova, pyrex smoktech AROs, and an iClear 30 (rarely, because it chews through juice so fast I might as well just drink the juice). Keep meaning to pick up an evod, though I doubt there'll be too much difference between those and the ARO.

Oddly, the absolute best taste I've ever gotten out of MBV juice is in a little halo/smokeless image 808 mini tank... I'd buy a gross of those and use them exclusively, except for the fact that I do vape tank cracking juices (and for some reason, 510 to 808 adapters are twice the price of any other adapter out there).

I took 2 hits of one vendor, and my throat started to feel tight. I couldn't get that vendors base out of an evod, so i had to trash it. Not sure what it is. I'm not allergic to anything except like dust/pollen. which i highly doubt is in juice Lol. I never had this issue with MBV or ahlusion. Some juices like hurt my mouth? Im just very sensitive i guess lol. So now that i'm past the MUST TRY EVERY JUICE VENDOR IN EXISTENCE phase I only buy a small sample of a few juices to try, then either Pif them or sell them. This is why i bought mbv's nic, flavoring, and base for diy because i KNEW i wouldn't have any adverse reactions to it.

Good morning Mia. Oh my, you have definitely had a struggle!! To save yourself a little time and frustration, you really only need to boil the cotton a couple of times. Mine was the pure white Peaches and Cream yarn and I only boiled it once. It turned out just fine. Hope today is *break through* day for you on some vaping level!!

Is it morning? I've been sleeping all wonky again :/ Stupid midnights messing up my sleep. So i ended up taking a 5 hour nap today.. lol so its MORNING now yah?!
I boiled it like 4 times. I don't know if it turned out fine or not. MBV juice tastes like sweet cotton in it. Ahlusion tastes like the juice. That said I've found ahlusion juices to have a MUCH stronger/potent flavor than mbv, not sayign this is bad! I have actually been diluting some of them in my protanks because of that-hey it lasts longer too then! But it's working well straight up in my reo. Thanks roonies. seems there's a huge learning curve with reos, and im uh, dumb lol

And i mixed WC with spurburry today. And im vaping it out of my fuschia vamo. not too bad.

Great summary. I feel I would be remiss if I didn't say that in my experience, hot water steeping isn't as good as just keeping my grubby mitts off the bottles.... but it gets *most* juices *most* of the way there.

I also put all my bottles in a gallon sized zip top bag before I put them in the water - to prevent the labels from peeling off or the ink from running.

I usually run my juices through an ulstrasonic cleaner with hot tap water for about an hour. It works well for me....not yielding a fully developed juice, but quite vapable most of the time I do think some juices just need time and there isn't much to be done about speeding them along.
