So i just got back. All firearms and pointy things removed from their house. I bought a lock box for my father's medications. He bonded her out today against my advice..... So I am just sitting here recoiling some heads while I let the Xanax take affect. The trip down and back was hard on my wife, we had to stop every 30 minutes or so for bathroom breaks because of her kidneys. I have decided that the only conversation I am willing to have with her is "Have you seen a doctor yet and are you taking the medications they have prescribed." If the answer is no, then we won't be talking until she does. She also is not allowed to see/talk to my Daughter until she does. She won't have a lawyer until February so they can;t force a psyche eval until then. So this is what I have to work with. :(

I hope these heads come out less airy than my last attempts.

You'll be just fine, the chart is a guide and gives you some base info to go off of, but most important is what taste good to you, start low and work your way up. I like to use the VW setting the devices as you don't have to keep messing with the VV when changing atty's out. As your not dealing with rba's etc, that is a horse of a different color.

Actually for carto and ProTank usage I am at the highest green area pretty consistently lookin' at the chart again. Though I pretty much run in VW mode if the option is there, typically between 7w and 8w, my RDAs is where I push (conversion wise) into the 9w and 10w range but they are all driven off my mechanical mods so it comes down to my coil ;)

I found for me at least, my sweet spot is 8 Watts sometimes 8.5 and 7.5, but typically I hardly ever change it from 8 watts. Set it and forget it. :vapor:

Doesn't anybody else here soak and clean their protank-evod coils?
I clean mine all the time....
Whenever I use or empty a tank, I take the coil out throw it in some alcohol, soak it (overnight), rinse it well in hot water
n let it dry. My coils last a really long time....

Sean, my girl says you should google and look on Youtube for "Go-Pro" cameras.
She is a horse fanatic and some of her favorite trainers use them to give students the feeling of being on the horse
and running specific patterns. It's head or chest cameras. Sounds interesting....

Yes, I do, I soak them and reuse them quite a bit but after a while I just rebuild the coil. Funny thing though is I see people always talking about their coils getting junked up after 1 tank, I for some reason do not encounter this issue, I have run some juice through the heads quite a number of times before having to clean them or rebuild them, and I do vape some very dark flavors as well as some thick ones as well. Guess I will count my blessings on that!

Yes me and the hubby soak ours also just like you stated. A few weeks ago i stumbled on a thread where someone discovered soaking them in those everdesenst (sp?) tablets people use for soaking dentures, thought that was interesting theory, just havent bought any to try yet

I saw that post, to me it sound pretty logical, but at this point I have no need for efferdent so I'll just stick with my methods for now! :p

Me too several tanks of even the darkest flavors. I went almost 2 months on 1 coil with no cleaning at all with a nearly clear juice.

hey ya dusty. how's the new job and the tummy?

Hi darlin, well the tummy is still bothering me, as for the job, well it's a job for now, that's about all I can really say, it's a seasonal position with the CHANCE of going permanent so I don't really hold a lot of stock or hope in that aspect of it, but will see what happens over the next month. I am really going to try and have the damn gallbladder removed after the 1st of the year.

Ya, me too. If a coil seems to not be working well, I will either dry burn it or soak it in some vodka for a couple hours and let it dry

Yup, well I haven't gone 2 months but over a month on most coils. I even get good mileage out of my vertical coil with cotton wicks, I got 5 tanks out of it, I have to change it out now though as the draw is too tight, I just hope I can get the cotton out without messing the coil up.

Whats some good flavors that I must try from MBV? I was ordering from Goodejuice but can only get extra VG, straight PG or 50/50. I like there Congo Craze and 555, the 2 I order from there the most. I have recently started ordering from HHV in 70/30 Heavenly Tobacco, Heavenly Army, Shadow, Crackberry and Bleeding Heart. Bleeding Heart was only one I didn't like. So I mainly have vaped tobacco flavors but I did like Congo which reminds me of banana runt candy's, and the Crackberry which was like fresh picked blackberrys. So I would like to try some other berry flavors, maybe some other candy flavors..

Sorry I have not been posting much, between work and my damn issue I just haven't really felt up to doing much other then reading. I'm glad everyone came out of the storms ok!

Ok, now, I have a bit of a predicament, well nothing that is earth shattering that's for sure, it's a matter of want versus need. I have been wanting to get a VTR, I typically do not like box type mods just really like the look of the VTR, not common sense tells me that due to the fact that this position is one in which may not become permanent I should just get my juices and batteries and some more tanks, heads and DIY stuff, but I got this damn itch, kinda like I get when I want a new tattoo, which is also been itching, but that is an itch I can't scratch at this point, the tat I want to get next would be over $500.00 and I can't do that one myself, anyway, I just really want that damn VTR, I'm just having a hard time with justifying the $100 + price tag, there is a listing in the Co-op for $52.00 which I was told was the kit, if that's the case that is doable, but damn, I don't have a lot of patience when it comes to things like that!

Arrrrgggggg...... VTR, juice, Juice, VTR, etc, etc.... Why couldn't I hit the lottery, oh, that's right, I could actually use it, most that win don't need it!

Well, if I had my way, this would have been over with already, but not having a primary care doctor or insurance makes it a bit difficult, so it's really the type of situation where I have to have a major attack and go to the ER and more or less force them to do it. This type of thing just isn't right. I can't even do this through the VA! :(

I hear that. But from one working class scruff to another, Dusty, this is what *I* would do... your job is seasonal right now anyway, and unless/until you get the knowledge that it's permanent, and/or another position, Christmas pickings are going to be mighty slim. By the time it rolls around, you're going to be panicking a little, wondering exactly how many checks you have left, and you'll be in no mood to buy gifts of any kind, let alone for yourself, because OH MY GOD what about money?!

So if you have the money for the co-op deal, and it wouldn't screw you over to jump on it.... jump on it. Then consider that your "big" gift for the holidays, even if it comes late. Your holiday shopping for yourself is now complete - you know you have something coming, and it's something you want - and if anyone asks what you want for the holidays, you can truthfully and without resentment say, "I know it's gauche, but what I need most is some cash to make sure my bills are covered."

If everything works out and you end up getting a permanent position/better job, it's all gravy. If not... you got what you really wanted, without breaking the bank, and can fake some "good cheer" for the people who aren't quietly freaking out about keeping the lights on.

Can you tell I've been in this position more than once? :D As I said, though, that's just the way I would handle it.
