I have so much juice I forget to shake lol.
It seems 6Mg juices stay lighter in color then 12. Because I've got some 2 month old 6mg whipped cream that's light.

I shake the snot out of them when I take them out of their hot water bath, and once a day when I remember, but I tend to fall out of the habit about three days after the vapemail arrives. I give any individual bottle a good shake whenever I pick one up to fill a tank, though. Haven't noticed any major difference in taste between the times I've done that vs. when I first started vaping and only had a couple of bottles to keep up with shaking.

Yup. It's mostly the nicotine that causes the darkening, although some flavorings can contribute to that.

I usually leave the snot in for the extra flavor, but , to each his own hahaha.gif

Good morning my MBV friends. I survived yesterday and hope everyone else did too. Besides the MBV sale I got two wraps for my eVic from J-Wraps. The hubby plans on wrapping them when they get here. I know what one of them is but the other one will be a surprise. After vaping Pink Champagne for Thanksgiving and Black Friday I'm back to Butterscotch.

No more than 24 hours, imo. Opinions will vary on that, but the point of caps off steeping is to evaporate any alcohol used in the mixing process. 24 hours is plenty of time to accomplish that - much longer and you're evaporating *juice*. Steeping with the caps *on* is a different matter and can take anywhere from a week to a month (or more), depending on the juice. Darker juices take longer to steep, as do juices with flavor shots.

Basically, caps off for 24 hours, then recap and let them continue to steep. Shake regularly, sample weekly.

Am I the only one who doesn't worry about steeping? I've always just cracked em open upon arrival and began vaping. Of course I shake the bottle a bit before each tank fill, but I've never left caps off, gave hot water baths etc. I don't think I have the patience for all that, LOL :smokie:

I used to be that way about steeping - HATED IT! What a lot of time wasted =] Then I was finding that all juices pretty much sucked :/ I started steeping and WOWZA!!! Delicious juice! I've done dripper tests on new juices and none of it tastes as good as an aged juice. Your missing out and shouldn't be reviewing until you let your juice steep... the flavor really changes =]

or squeezing and honking.

Cinnabun here, as usual. Wife wanted some pink champagne earlier so I've been tasting that too now and again. Slow day today.

Reading Doctor Sleep. Stephen King's sequel to The Shining on my Paperwhite (Kindle).

Had Moo Juice earlier today. Can definitely taste the milk now (after about 4 weeks aging)

Sent from my Astromech in a galaxy far, far away. The force is with me. so is Mr. chicken.
I'm glad you posted this, my moo just Tate's of tangy real strawberry so far, kinda weird, starting to smooth out a bit.

There's value in reviewing unsteeped juice, imo, just as long as you let everyone know its not steeped.

True, I am referring to the reviews that say 'all I taste is perfume, this juice SUCKS!' Now, we all know that you need to let the juice air out so that the alcohol content from the flavoring can dissipate. This is where the perfume comes from... these people need to state how old their juice is & if it's been properly steeped, as you say.

I downloaded that the other day then realized I hadn't read The Shining. I stayed away from his
scarier stuff. So downloaded that too and read it before bed each night, yowzas. Dr. Sleep will
be next on the list.

But thats just it, I love my favorite juice even without the steeping. I guess its like we say about flavor preferences, its all subjective. I'm a pretty low maintenance/no fuss type vapor. If I have to go to a lot of trouble and time to use it, its not gonna be on my list of things to buy. I only use two flavors currently, my ADV and one I like with my morning coffee. Both of those taste great to me straight out of the mailbox.
