so steeping. ive watched quite a few videos about it on youtube... all these different ways...

should i shake hard and leave the cap off for a day then put it back on and let it steep more? or leave the cap off the whole time and shake once a day? anything even better?

couldnt find a whole lot around here about it

i lived in arizona for years and love spicy.

my favorite hot sauce is 2 bucks a bottle (habanero) and shes the best i ever had. a jalapeno or habenero flavored juice may be worth trying but it wouldnt be an ADV for me.

Your lungs would look like fried chicken after a tankful though. :( I like spicy too but I am guessing there is a very good reason why nobody offers it in liquid

I'd tell you how many puffs I get out of the MVP2 before it goes yellow, but the puff counter always resets before I get anywhere near yellow. :)

I charge mine every night right before plugging in my cell phone. It has yet to drop below 3.9 on the battery, and I have TRIED pretty hard to get it to go yellow. I may need to use it to charge my phone at some point just so it can have a full cycle.

the counter should only reset when you shut it off.

Not if you go past 999 puffs before turning it off... there's no room on the display for more than three digits, so your next puff will cause the puff counter to cycle around. I usually hit... I dunno, somewhere around 1400-1500 puffs a day? Something like that. Always more than 999, anyway.

Steeping! I really am going to copy and paste this spiel after this time.

There are as many ways to steep as there are vapers, so this is just how I do it.

I prefer my labels to stay intact, so I put all the bottles in a big ziplock, squeeze out the air, and put it in a bowl of hot tap water for 4-5 hours, refilling as necessary. Don't heat the water in the microwave, as temperatures over 120F will degrade the nic and some flavorings. You want the juice to be warm enough to make it easier for the ingredients to homogenize, you're not trying to cook it.

After 4-5 hours, pull the bag, give every bottle a good shake, and test them if desired. Some may be ready, some won't, it depends on the juice.

If anything tastes perfumey/chemically/weak, take the caps and the drip tips off those bottles and set them in a cool dark place away from children or animals for 24 hours. The purpose of this step is to evaporate any alcohol used in the mixing process, so 24 hours should be long enough to accomplish that step.

After 24 hours, cap the bottles again, give them a good shake, and wait, shaking the bottles when you remember. Darker juices tend to take longer to steep (up to a month, sometimes even longer) and lighter juices tend to be ready in a week to two weeks. That's not a hard and fast rule, though, so in the end you have to go by your nose and tastebuds.

Whether you hot water steep or not, all of your juices will continue to steep over time and get more flavorful. There's really no substitute for time, although hot water can knock a few days to a week off for you.

... and *now* I have this saved in a file. :D

I do that on the weekends. About 1500. When I go higher I tend to wake up the next morning and can still taste the vape. Only not in a good way. Blech

That is odd. All I taste is pink and a bit of fizz (yeah I'm not sure how I taste fizz either but on long pulls I do) ;) it is quite good actually and smells pretty awesome. Wife likes to drive me crazy by blowing it in my general direction (Monty python reference).

Maybe my taste buds are just weirs, I get a bit of tanginess with long pulls on Sticky Bun (still very tasty though)
