You do a fair amount of coil building, right? What is your preferred build as far as silica goes? I have been trying a bunch of different sizes and amounts, I think I have settled on 3.5mm folded over once to be working best for me as far as wicking goes. Thoughts? Anyone?
I haven't used silica in a long time, except to add flavor wicks to eVod/ProTank heads. I switched to cotton a couple months ago.

My first mbv order came, I knew I couldn't wait so I put them in a towel on a heating pad turned down low, temp probe in the towel read 105 degrees. Left it for a few hours and pulled the moo juice out and put on my hobby paint shaker for 5 minutes to fill up a mini pt2. I put it back in the towel....

It is good, if it gets better \o/

Considering the fact that Mowgli has been in this thread longer then I have and does in fact know his way around and has given people advice on many different issues it's safe to assume that he just wanted SOMEONE to confirm or dismiss it as a tank cracker, we all at some point have had these questions, we all have had some juices crack our tanks and not bother someone else's tank. He is more well versed in a number of areas then many people. I have had tried all types of juice that were supposed to be tank crackers and didn't have an issue until I tried Maraschino Cherry and Ecto-Cooler, both of those trashed my tanks. Others that are reported to crack tanks I haven't had issues with.

So that said, I believe it a bit over the top to post that in all caps as if yelling. There is no harm in asking for recent experiences, plus the fact is that he may in fact preformed a search and didn't get what he needed to know, sometimes it's faster to ask then to search in some cases.

I have been thinking about this response since I posted it. Even before seeing the "pig pile" on ViSionx, I realised I had made a bad post.

To Mowgli,
I am very sorry for my very sarcastic and abusive post. I know it is no excuse but I have had a pretty terrible day and for some reason , my mind percived your post as a stab to me. I was very much in the wrong for that reply and if I go back I bet I didn't even word the first reponse the way I should have or ment to. Again I am very sorry and would understand hard feelings but I really hope we can get past this.

To EVERYONE ELSE,
I realize I was wrong and sincerely appologise to you all for having to witness such an irresponsible post. As I said, I have had a very bad day. My kid has to have surgery monday, I have had a terrible toothache and it has just been one of those days that EVERYTHING has gone wrong. Tried to take my kids to a christmas parade this afternoon also. It has been sunny and 75 degrees all day. As soon as we get to the parade , the wind picked up and it got pretty cold. Aside from not wearing jackets , it also decided to rain. YES it literally "rained on my parade".

All that said, I should have still had the sence to stay away from the keyboard and return to wread the thread when things were better. It was very irresponsible for me to make that post and I appologise to you all.

I hope I have not destroyed any of the relationships that I have been working to build and hope that you all can forgive me.

A place some call paradise
I just got the Johnny Chimpo from the BF sale.
How long should I let it steep?

Since someone has mentioned steeping of banana flavors I have a banana cream pie 15ml 6mg bottle I'm steeping for my wife. I know there are some major fans in here. What's your typical steep on this flavor? I'm at 8 days currently.

How ya doin' Dusty? Hope all the trouble at the apartment is behind you now.

Hey u4ia, well not really, I will be going by there a few times a week to collect mail and get whatever I may need from the other part of the apartment, it's going to be a bit before it's remodeled so just have to take one day at a time. I'm just glad no one was hurt and that the structure is sound and can be remodeled. Thanks for asking! :toast:

No worries from me on this, we all have bad days and it doesn't hurt to have more than one opinion on the thread.

With that said, I hope you have a better one starting now :)

Thanks. Things are starting to settle down. I feel a little better now that I have time to get on here and catch up with the thread.

Hope you are having a great day also.

Never tried cotton. From what I understand, everyone says it's better, but I have never had an issue with silica, and I have a tendency to not pay attention and take a puff when my coil is too dry, which would be quite bad on cotton if I understand that correctly.

Not at all, we all have bad days, I can pretty much attest to that, I have had a pretty chitty couple of months and last week was just the icing on the crap cake! We all have our moments, but we are also even though most of us have never met face to fact are a kind of extended long distance family, I don't know of anyone here that holds grudges especially over someone else having a bad day, week, month etc.

I know of only 1 individual that I can state I have a real dislike for, they are not in this thread and only showed up in here once. But that is a whole different scenario.

Sorry that you are having the issues you are, I can sympathize and feel for you! Hang in there. :toast:

guys i'm addicted to this Blue Moo flavor :D i didnt think i would like it this much. i got 100%vg with 2 extra shots. i want to get a 50ML bottle next order but would i also up the flavoring shots in a bigger bottle?

The shot ratio's are the same regardless of the bottle size, however, the larger the bottle the longer it will need to age especially with 100% VG, so you might want to portion out the juice into smaller bottle sizes to cut down on aging time, you can also if possible save a small amount as a seeding agent for the new juice, it seems to help speed up the aging process, I do it all the time with my Hazelnut and PB juices.
