You really are the queen of smiley gif's
I use 2mm. 3.5 seems pretty hefty, what gauge kanthal are you using?
I have using the Iclear 30 that came with my MVP and is it just me or does this thing deliver a killer throat hit? Even at 6 mg I have to lower my voltage quite a bit. And is it normal for it to have a tight draw?
intestinal fortitude? Thats a new one....
lol, not that new!

Mostly 28GA, but 30GA on occasion. 28 comes out to 0.7Ω usually which is good, but 30 comes out to about 1.0-1.1Ω. I really like to be at about 0.8. I think I need to try some 29GA.
I'm not even going to try to rebuild the coils in my evods.
I soak the heads in scalding hot water, dry burn the coils (with scraping gunk off when necessary), hold the flavor wicks with pliers and burn them white with a Bic and replace them with 1.5mm silica when they're shot.
The dry burning toasts the thru-wick white so all's clean.
The original flavor wicks are 1mm and there's 2 of them so a single 1.5mm flavor wick works great.
The only coils I've killed, since I learned how much is too much, were too grungy to save.
I see what you are doing now. That's a fun build. you should post some pictures.
I'm using cotton too but I have some of that german silica on my list to try. Supposedly there's no weird flavor with it. Cotton's great and all but I'm not enthused about rewicking protank heads every day. heh. Maybe when I get a kayfun.

Not photo worthy or pretty, but it worksThis one came out to 0.6Ω.

i hadn't either!!You're a couple steps ahead of me then, I've never build a micro coil either![]()
What kind of coils are they wrapping? For what device? I have not been able to get a cotton wick to work on t3, or evod styles. It always floods and gurggles. I do however use a cotton flavor wick on the top. A nice big hunk of cotton and remove the rubber cover. Makes for a nice , tasty vape with no dry hits.
Just in case, For my evod/t3/PT style wicks, I wrap 5 wraps of 30guage kanthal around a 2mm silica wick using a sewing needle to space and sturdy the build. (then remove it of course XD) That with a cotton flavor wick works wonders even on low voltage devices like egos.
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know the current discount code please??
Thanks!

i do 10/11 wrap of 28g on a 1/16 allen wrench. MAN I SOUND LIKE SUCH A PRO, EH STONE?! I swear i'm not. Lol lots of trial and error served me well.
