Yeah, the Black Rhino went extinct a few months ago. It was a bummer and I don't think the rest of the world hardly noticed. :(

How the Western Black Rhino Went Extinct | Extinction Countdown, Scientific American Blog Network

It pisses me off because there was no need for that to happen. Using a little common sense and being responsible and the Black Rhino would be around another 1000 years. It's not even a matter of nature taking its course. Poachers literally wiped them from the face of the earth with their greed.

The real sad fact is that none of those animals, flora and fauna and all other living beings on this planet deserve to be taken forgranted, exploited or killed for just sport, I love to shoot, but don't hunt live animals, that last time I did I was 14 years old and it really broke my heart over the killing. There's a big difference between need and want! Human's are just inherently arrogant and have the mind set that everything else is below us. We are the ones that are committing the slow death of this planet. Oh, hell I better stop, I feel a big rant coming on and no one wants to see that! Well, not that it has stopped me before, but I'll sit on my hands until it passes.

Ok, everbody get out your flame throwers. For what its worth..... the Volt cigalikes are darned hard to beat for a beginner. With the added bonus, while trying to quit, of something that feels familiar.

I gotta remind everyone I already have three of the ego style batteries (2 650's and one 1100) so that's what she wants to start with. It's what got me all the way hooked so it's the route she wants to start with.

Hi all. I see I managed to miss the last panicked steeper... didn't mean to sleep so long, but a solid week of cold and rain is kicking my :censored:.

Just found out the parental unit has been spending the past few weeks under the impression that we had far more money than we do (she's still getting used to the fact that we have a car payment to make again, after our long-paid-off van's engine quite literally blew as she was following the ambulance a few months ago... yours truly was in the ambulance of course). So, because she hadn't been keeping track, money's been trickling out... $5 here, $10 there, nothing big but nothing critical... and the upshot is, we've got $30 in the bank account from now till the 20th.

The good: We've got plenty of juice, and what's in the account should cover gas. Food, we're fine, thanks to turkey day. Bills are already paid. We'll get through this fine. (Note that juice, food, and bills are taken care of by me.)

The bad: Looks like we're going to be doing an after-Christmas type celebration, since by the time there's money for Christmas shopping, virtually nothing would have enough shipping time. Not a huge deal, but irritating considering this is not the first time this has happened. *My* Christmas shopping? Has been done since early *November*... so as usual when Mom pulls this, everybody has presents but me.

Good thing I'm not the materialistic type... I'll order more juice on the 20th, wrap it up nice for myself and be quite happy.

One of these days, I swear to god I'm going to "misplace" her debit card.

(and for anyone wondering about credit cards, the answer is "we don't have any." I stood over her and made her cut them all up after the divorce (including the ones dad had run up in her name)... we can't afford credit card payments, ergo there's no real point in having credit cards. I don't regret the decision, but that *is* why plugging the gaps with plastic isn't an option. :) )

I'll be fine, and I love my mother very much. She just drives me absolutely batcrap crazy when it comes to finances.

Vaping some pumpkin spice and some kind of chocolate concoction I don't remember. :)

I feel you, the only one that is getting presents this year is my daughter for sure, my wife maybe. Me, definitely not. We got her a little tablet to use. I have been spending my afternoons when she is napping configuring it so that it is as locked down as possible. We got her a V-Tech reading device when she was 2 and 1/2 and is way ahead in reading. The tablet is getting loaded with learning games, reading, math, and other stuff to help develop critical thinking and her imagination. :)

I use the ikenvape cartos mega fusion punch variety in ibtanked tanks. I love the set up and the flavor is always spot on. I've had my two cartos in for about 11 days now. The cartos from the b&m went bad in about 5 days. Ikenvape claims up to 3 weeks on the same carto. 1.90 a piece I think but they're constantly out of stock so you really have to just check their site daily and stock up when you can.
Everyone I know uses them and boge or smok as their backups.

What an awesome dad you are. :) Best Christmas gift I ever got was that brand spanking new Commodore 128/64. I was 4 at the time.

The main thing that bums me out about a delayed christmas is the effect that kind of thing has on my sister. She's 29, but autistic and functions at about a 7 year old level, so we try to keep things as normal as we can around here for her sake... well, normal for us, anyway. As of right now, all she'll have coming is some stuff I picked up for her quite a while ago, and she'll be upset if there's not also something from Mom and something from "Santa"... so I'm going to have to divvy it up a little and label things as such, to the point that she'll notice something's not right. Meanwhile, have to keep Mom from going into panic mode and blowing our last $30 on a "Santa" gift for her, or there'll be no gas money.

First world problems, first world problems, first world problems. Every day I'm profoundly grateful for a healthy family, a place to live and food to eat because I've lived through not having those things... (and the fact that we have lived through that is why Mom's inches from a massive guilt spiral at the moment).

I bet I can convince the sibling that we're going to do things different this year and celebrate on The Epiphany... she'd like that. She's a much better Catholic than I am. ;)

Yeah I know that. My little girl is six and overall she's been great this year (we actually once thought she might have autistic features. My wife DOES. She needs her patterns or gets very upset-- I know that is very different from your sister though). Doing well in school and her behavior has gotten a lot better so she deserves it. :) Divying up sounds like a good idea. We do the same as you as well, we were shopping for her back in September. So she's pretty well taken care of. Her tablet was the last purchase (I was on it last night working/surfing and probably will be quite a bit after she goes to bed until I have it set up so she doesn't have access to anything age inappropriate). Locking down an android device is a pain in the ..... I almost wish we had gotten the Windows 8 version... ALMOST.. at least it has decent parental controls. lol. Ahh well. It can still be done it just takes a lot longer.

Your family is lucky to have you Sean.

BTW, I've got about half of my e liquids in iclear 16s but Im looking for a great cartomizer to use for my other 30 juices lol , what cartos do u all use? ive heard ikenvape is good...they have a cool platinum series i was looking at. But Idk, any suggestions?

Ikenvape mega platinum punches (tanked, of course) are my go to, with Boge punched LR XXL's for backup. Ikenvape's are frequently out of stock, and Boge does come close to the quality in my opinion. I did one time try punching my own carto's, but there is no price difference for punched or un-punched, so go for the factory laser punched option if you want to tank it.

Me too. I have my hands full with a friend who has brain cancer. Well she doesn't live here but
whatever she needs I make sure she gets it. Otherwise I'd be helping out in a heartbeat, both for your
sister and another one or two in this thread.
