Wow, talk about an all time low, it never ceases to amaze me at the length that some people will go to in order to try to make themselves out to be better then someone else or to try to avert attention from themselves for being wrong and clueless. Sending a PM regarding my personal situation as a way to try and gain an upper hand on a losing premise. It reminds me of what used to take place in Junior High. So this individual trolls sections dealing with steeping, and also this section as well and continues to perpetuate incorrect information to put MBV in a bad light and then wonders why I have to rebut this erroneous information. But to use my personal situation to try and make yourself out to be better is just pathetic and frankly very childish. Telling this individual to stop PM'ing does no good. There are just some individuals that should not be allowed to have access to a computer!

Amen brother, a lot of people should have their internet access revoked. Ever read youtube comments? :) We'll be waiting with pitchforks if ya need.

Well, crap, his another darn MBV juice I need to add to my always want to have list, I saw everyone talking about the Rainbow Sherbet and figured when I was able to get my flavorings that I would ask for a sample of this one, BIG MISTAKE, damn, it's addictive! I've already gone through 1/2 the bottle. :vapor:

So, what does the sherbet taste like? I'm so curious.

Kelli, I haven't been doing this nearly as long as you have, nor tried as many vendors as most people on ECF. But in the short time I've been doing this, I've discovered a few things...

First favorite flavor - Belgian Cocoa from Halo.
Price per ml: 0.67
Replaced by: "Caramel Brownie" from a company with MBV-like prices.
Resemblance to original flavor: It's a dead ringer, with a better aftertaste and vapor smell.
Price per ml of replacement: 0.26
Time to locate replacement: 2 months, 6 tries.
Number of "almost but not quite" flavors that would also be perfectly acceptable substitutes: 5.
Avg price of "almost but not quite" flavors per ml: 0.20

Second favorite flavor: several different "mochas" from various vendors.
Avg price per ml: 0.67-0.83
Replaced by: a few different mixes using MBV juices and juices from an MBV-like priced vendor.
Resemblance to original flavors: Virtually indistinguishable.
Avg price per ml of replacements: 0.20-0.26
Time to locate replacement: 2 months, 8 different juices.
Number of "almost but not quite" flavors that would also be perfectly acceptable substitutes: 6.
Avg price of "almost but not quite" flavors per ml: 0.20-0.27

I could go on for every possible flavor in my flavor profile, but the bottom line is this - I have not yet found anything at a pricey vendor that does not have at least a *close* equivalent at either MBV or *one* other MBV-like vendor. I haven't even tried any other vendors in the "budget" price bracket, because I haven't had to - between those two, I've *found* everything I was hunting! I'm sure there are a few juices out there that are totally unique/unreplicable. I'm also relatively sure that *most* so-called unreplicable flavors can actually be achieved by mixing the right "budget" juices together. Again, the "budget" versions may not be exact, but I refuse to believe there are more than a handful of juices out there wherein you can't at least get in the ballpark.

Maybe one day I'll find an absolutely amazing juice that is so unique and difficult to approximate with well steeped budget juices that I can justify paying *three times as much* per ml for it... it could happen. I'm not ruling it out. But with that kind of price differential, a) it would have to be *very* special juice, and b) I'd be so paranoid about spilling/wasting it that I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much as I'd prefer to. I wouldn't actually be able to *relax* and vape the stuff!

Either you have an excellent memory, or, you keep excellent notes !!! I have summertimers, and I couldn't remember stuff like that to save my mvp sad.jpg

Well, a little hard to explain but it's a combination of flavors, lemon, cherry and orange. It's similar to what we used to call Rocket Pops. It has 3 flavors on a stick. It's really very refreshing and flavorful. Not sure what others get out of it, but that his what I get.

Oh god. I realized I totally blew it on the DIY flavors and misunderstood the definition of "parts" and, in my excitement, failed to notice that MBV is kind enough to actually EXPLAIN it you on their page. Fortunately, their also kind enough to note that, if you blow it like I did, they will try to make the flavor the way you intended it to be made.

Such a dummy.

Hopefully they saved me so I didn't waste my money.

Can you guys explain to me about the "parts" vs. flavor shots? A 15ml bottle is allowed 6 parts so 3 parts of each would be 50/50 for two flavors, right? So then what would be the difference between, say, adding a flavor shot for one of the flavors and increasing its "parts" / decreasing the "parts" of the other flavor in the DIY combos.

And also, this is maybe a dumb question but I observed a brief conversation between two of you where you asked for the thoughts on the recipe for blue moo. The actual answer isn't important to my question and since I cannot remember it, let's just say for sayin's sake that it was 12% sweet cream and 8% blueberry. Um...what about the other 80% haha? I'm just trying to understand how flavor comes into play. Does that mean it's 20% flavor additive and 80% everything else?

There's obviously something I'm not understanding here so I could really use your help.

Thank you, wonderful people!

I probably should have asked these questions before I ordered but apparently I'm the type of person who can't even be bothered to so much as read the composition directions on the website haha.

Fingers crossed, guys, hope it turns out okay. Maybe it's best I screwed it up cause they'll fix it for me haha.

Yeah man, I actually spent a lot of time on Youtube, but for music videos and how-to's on some songs that I wish to learn and that the tab's are not correct. People just never cease to amaze me.

As for that other individual, this is the 3rd run it I have had with him, he just really loves to slam or bad mouth MBV and all due to his lack of comprehension skills. The whole thing started about steeping. I could never understand why someone would ask about it one minute then a few minutes later turn expert all of a sudden and try to tell people that steeping/aging does nothing, the turns around yet again and contradicts himself.

What and how did you order ? Sometimes its best to try a new flavor without any additions for the first time out. You may like it "as is".

EDIT **** never mind, I hadn't noticed the first part of your post that it was a DIY mix, apologiesnosepicker.jpg

lol, well it's just something about this person that rubs me the wrong way, this is the type of person I would have tossed out the door of the nightclub within 30 minutes. Just one of those with that type of narcissistic personalities that craves attention be it good, bad or indifferent as long as they get the attention. Never responded back to the last PM telling me that I had his permission to PM him back one more time. lmao, yeah right.

Anyway, damn, I do like this juice! Gotta hide the rest of it. :p

I just checked the Mt Baker web site and sherbet is NOT on their reported tank cracking list ... the list is quite extensive so I think they are pretty much on top of the problem, and I'd assume that if the list contained any errors they would be on the side of over reporting not under reporting.
