Just wanted to add that with the Provari you get a one year warranty with the option to purchase a second year quite reasonably upon initial purchase. After the warranty is up, if anything goes wrong with it, you can send it in for repairs ala carte, also very reasonably. It's usually back to you in a week. Most folks don't need to use these, but it's very reassuring to know that it's there. For instance, say you drop it and the screen cracks. I think you can get it replaced for around $20 after your warranty is up. I've dropped mine a few times on a hard floor...tile over cement...with no issues whatsoever, outside of breaking a glass tank. It's tough as nails. There is a list of prices for most repairs on the site. The wattage is set and self adjusting if I'm not mistaken. I think it's top wattage is around 11. It has a built in ohms checker and is made in America if that matters to the OP. I think they're both great pieces of gear also and the OP would love either one, but wanted to add that info to the mix so the OP has all the facts. I probably sound like a fangirl. I am, but I also appreciate all of the cool mods out there. I'm looking at the MVP myself!! :)

am i too tired to notice that you switched from talking about the provari to the MVP right there?

Okay well I kind of cheated and tried out hawk sauce the first day i got it in the mail and its some pretty dang tasty stuff. I can tell it needs to steep for a long time probably but its got some good berry flavor and the menthol wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, just really Mellow

Morning Sean. How was your Christmas? I read earlier about your gifts and how much your sister was enjoying the day. Hope it was super dooper fabulous and well worth waiting for. Christmas hugs to you my friend! :)

It was excellent, roonies, thanks for asking! I suspect I won't see my sister for a few days... she's got 4 long-coveted DVDs to watch. :D And we now have a nightlight in the bathroom... odd choice of christmas present, perhaps, but mom was really thinking on that one, since as the sibling and I have gotten older, our depth perception has gotten *terrible* in the dark - truly can't tell which way is up. So ever since the move, I've had to flip the hall light on if I'm prowling around the house late at night, and I hate doing that because mom has to keep her bedroom door open for the cat (who also likes to prowl late at night and has a bad habit of letting the door close on her tail if she pushes it open herself)... so the nightlight in the bathroom now means I've got enough light to navigate when I'm up at ungodly hours, without potentially waking half the household. It's the little things in life, I tell you!

The best part was spoiling mom a bit... not nearly as much as I wanted to or as she deserves, but I did the best I could and it was good enough to get her to tear up, so that's a success. She's got new jewelry and nail stuff to show off at work, a new jewelry box to keep it all in (I noticed she'd outgrown her current cache of neat jewelry boxes - dad used to hand carve them for her), and a gift card to get herself some more shoes. (She's quite the bargain hunting Imelda Marcos, and discovered Nordstrom Rack a few years ago, which didn't help the shoe addiction!) I teased her it was also kind of a gift to her that *I* got some new shoes, because she's always annoyed with the poor shape mine are in and trying to buy me new ones, which I usually fail to wear because I loathe trying to break new shoes in.

And then we gorged ourselves on the usual, turkey and all the family dishes to go with it. All in all, a brilliant holiday with the family, which is always the part I'm most grateful for.

Her Highness the Royal Siamese slept through the whole thing despite our best efforts to wake her, and stomped out to the living room about 4pm *most* displeased that she'd missed playing with the wrapping paper... so we had to snag a piece for her to roll around with for a while. (We gave up buying her cat toys about 15 years ago - she prefers paper, ribbon, boxes, etc!) I haven't seen her out here since, so I suspect she's stomping back and forth across mom's head while mom tries to sleep. (It's not really night time around here unless I can hear mom having at least one argument with the cat; who does argue back.)

I am loving the Rainbow Sherbert. I notice a slight tartness on the exhale. I'll bet a little Butterscotch would really smooth that out. I'm revisiting Shenanigans right now and it is so great. Not sure if they have it in flavor but if they do I'll be jumping right on it. Alrighty, once again I've been up all night so I'd best get to bed before the sun comes up. I hate to waste half of Sunday sleeping. (cursing the return of the sleep disorder this week end)

I don't mind the tartness of Rainbow Sherbet at all, but it was giving me a tiny tiny bit of a... sort of metallic bitterness? That reminded me of some liquid meds I used to take as a kid - more of a bad-memory-trigger than a bad taste. I bet you're right that Butterscotch would fix that, too. I'm very pleased that Sticky Bun worked, as I didn't really expect it to!

Shenanigans sounds like something I need to add to my ever-growing list of interesting flavors to try. :)

Sleep well... I don't know if it's the weather or what, but I've slept about 5 hours in the past 5 days, myself, and not for lack of trying. About to break down and take an ambien if the situation doesn't improve shortly!

No, you noticed correctly. I think they're both great. I like the looks of the MVP a lot. Just wanted to add a couple of things about the Provari that the OP might not have known which could help in the decision making process. And I am wayyyyy too tired to say anything more beyond 'goodnight'. I'm off to dreamland!! :)
edited to add....just noticed what you had copied in bold text. when I was talking about the wattage, I was referring to the Provari.

Hmmm well I think I found my first liquid to never purchase again, blade from heather's heavenly vapes. In my silica wicks it tasted like minty burnt camp fire and when I put my own custom coils in and cotton wick it's still tasting like it. The smell is pretty good but it's just not working out. The cinful apple and just peachy all taste great but the blade is just not for me I guess :(

Yeah, most people get confused on the wattage thing with the Provari. It doesn't read the wattage in the menu, but it's there, just self adjusting as I understand it. The site describes it in more detail. Now, I am outta here for real. I'm almost sick with exhaustion right now. night!

Good to know, Daniel, thanks for posting this... I know it's the MBV thread but HHV is on my shortlist of vendors to try (I think I mentioned that before re: state tax etc) so I appreciate mentions of them.

I've been trying to get my local B&M to carry MBV and HHV for some more "budget-minded" vaping options... so far, it's a no go, but they're a fairly new business so I'm hoping the owner will be willing to branch out more as business picks up (and it will, because it's the nearest vape shop for *miles and miles*).

Your welcome, Yea I honestly don't get it. Hhv has been really my own juice place (only started vaping about 3 months ago) now I did start off with Volcano juices and those were just God awful, no offense. The next one I tried was hhv and I have liked there flavors. This blade flavor though is disappointing. I hope I don't have screwed up taste buds or something

Ok, this is for real my LAST post of the night/mornng.....I have a recipe for cheese stuffed meatloaf that is to die for....not something you want to make very often because it's kind of high in all the bad stuff, but so so delicious!! We had it for Christmas a few years ago and I make it at least once a winter. Cold meatloaf sandwiches are awesome too!! I'll have to dig up the recipe for anyone who's interested. I may need to make it sometime this week now that I'm thinking about it!!

okay, let's keep on talking about turkey!

turkey and meatloaf are my kryptonite! :p
