I have had the Davides and the adapters in a cart several times.

I got caught up in wanting some more mech clones. Then I got caught up in wanting an R91, another Kracken Clone and an Aqua Clone. Then I got caught up in wanting a virgin Provari to go with the used Provari I bought. Then the MBV New years sale happened and my Christmas Bonus monies had strangely disappeared. I am going to wait until Febuary rolls in to get the Davides and an adapter. I am not broke or anything and have not gone into debt over any of this. I know myself, I am an obsessive person with an addictive personality. When I got bit by the vaping Hobbyist bug I told my self I would limit my spending to what I spent on 1.5 to 2 packs a day + a can of Copenhagen a day + a 5 pack of medium quality cigars a week. According to my spreadsheet (you keep one admit it) I am there if I do not spend any more money till Feb 1 :p

I wonder if the Aspire BDCs would work in a PT3 with just the gasket on the center tube.....

Also, I get great flavor and vapor from the Protanks, I even like the PT3 now. I have been using them exclusively for work. Now that I have my building techniques down I have found I can lay my RBAs on their side and have no leakage. The flavor from them is WAY better than any clearo out there (IMO) so I have started to bring them to work more than the protanks. I may (probably will, not gonna lie) get the Aspire Davide tank still.

I've tried the adapter and aspire head with a protank 3 and it doesn't work. It only works with the protank 2. I wish it did work because I now have a few protank 3's that won't be getting used. Oh well, they'll make good backups.

The PT3 has an increased space between the base and tank collar, I was wondering if the aspire BDC would work with just the grommet on the tank collar. Or do the Aspire coils have different threads that they need the base adapter?

That's a good question. And very observant. I would think if the aspire and the protank 3 heads are the same length then I don't see why it wouldn't work. I didn't even think to try that. Too bad my protank 3's are at home and I'm stuck at work til ten tonight. I will check when I get home and get back with you on that.

Hmmmm wouldn't fit in my VTR ........ but one of those tanks with the "tarnished" looking cage would really look sweet on one of these.

View attachment 291109

and I DO need a backup ....

Those look awesome, one almost made it into my bonus monies spending spree... I opted for less is more and got another Provari. I think the next thing for me mod wise is going to be some DNA parts and building my own mod. I got the go ahead to use a machine shop when it is closed.

Yep there is no hope, I have been thoroughly and irrevocably infected with VHV. Stand back outside of the infection radius there is no known cure for Vaping Hobbyist Virus.

Lol, sorry. I'm more than happy to take all the blame.

Ohhhhhh BOY VD ..... ahhhh that doesn't sound right ..... I'll call you Vapor Dragon ...... My wife is really upset at you. Perusing the site you sent me I fell in love with the Davide BDC tank .... don't know why ..... I guess two coils HAVE to be twice as good as one right??? They were a bit more expensive, but we're talking TWICE as good.

Ended up buying three tanks and 2 5packs of replacement coils.

So just warning ya, if you see some upset woman stomping towards you, muttering something to the effect of "yeah right, stopping smoking and vaping is gonna save money ..... MY FOX MEAT". Run for cover!
