authentic chili is more of a sauce, Umerican chili has beens and meat! the hotter, the better.

i was working for some folks in 1983, in Nashua, NH. i went to work for a buddy, but he got canned. i had my chili on the menu. i made hot chili!

had a guy come in one night. he heard about my chili on the CB. he was driving 'tween Seattle ans Portland! dude heard about my chili from 3000 miles away, so he came and found the place. bestest, hottest chili he ever had!

Real Chili has no beans! I'm not from Texas but adding my :2c: in anyway. I also make another version using both ground beef and sirloin steaks cut into cubes, bite size of course and a mystery ingredient! :p

I'm with you...chili does not have beans.....no way....no how !!!!!!!!!

Chili has beans. Chile is the sauce. Down here we have red and green, it's actually the official state question ("Red or Green?"). I don't know if I could live anywhere in the world that didn't have green chile. It's a staple for many of us down here, and it can be anywhere from mild to melt-your-innards hot.

That almost happened to me today. I stepped outside in minus 6 weather to bring a tire in to defrost so I can take it to get a plug in it. I went out bare handed (stupidly) and I picked up the tire and I very quickly ripped my fingers from the metal and then cried for about 45 seconds as I felt my skin was about to be ripped off.

Y'all are either full of amazing anti-mod powers, or you've just taunted the Hulk, not Thor. I'm not sure which.

I think I'll just stand over here, behind this titanium door.
