The *best* way to stock up in terms of ease of storage and keeping the nic good for the longest amount of time is to get nic in a 100%VG base and plan to add the flavorings and any PG yourself. VG with nic is slightly more stable than PG with nic over the long term (years). There are posts about it in the DIY forum if you're interested. Having said that, the difference in PG with nic and VG with nic in terms of long term stability is indeed slight... but there is a reason VG based nic is favored by DIYers, too.

Having said all of that, this is what *I* would do if I had that much *premade* juice on hand (and in fact, I do have a 236ml bottle of Pumpkin Spice I did exactly this with).

Decant some of it into 30ml or 50ml bottles for your immediate daily use.

Decant the rest into glass bottles (cobalt or amber, doesn't matter which as long as it'll block light). Then, stick the bottle/bottles in the fridge or freezer. The juice won't freeze because home freezers don't get cold enough to freeze PG/VG. How many bottles to use depends on how you plan to steep it.

Re: steeping - cold slows down nic degradation, but juice won't steep if it's cold. There's two ways to handle that.

You can steep the whole giant bottle *first* by leaving it at room temp till it tastes good. (This is what I did.) Then put it in the freezer till you need it. Decant your freezer-stored juice into your "immediate use" bottles as needed, let it come to room temp, shake well, and you'll have "pre-steeped" ready to vape juice.

Your other option is to put it in the freezer unsteeped decant/steep as needed, but be aware that if you do it that way, the clock has essentially stopped on steep time from the minute the juice goes in the freezer, so you need to allow for steeping from the time you take it back out of the freezer. That's why if you put it in the fridge/freezer unsteeped, you may want to use smaller bottles, because smaller bottles steep faster. If you freeze it presteeped, you can put it in a few larger bottles, decant into your ready to use bottles as needed, and be good to go.

I do all my longterm storage in glass because plastic can potentially leech things into the juice over a long period of time.

Just like with steeping, everyone has their own storage process, but those are the basic principles.

Thanks Sean, I've learned a lot from u. I read some of your posts!

How often should I change the atomizers head??
I still not sure how to rebuild it by myself yet :p

When it stops working. :p you can extend the life by dry-burning and replacing the flavor wicks. Darker liquids will funkup the coils faster than lighter ones.

Not from there. From Southern Cal. Lived there for awhile. Actually lived in Monterey. Loved it. Stuck in Georgia now.

Hi neighbor! I'm stuck in Gwinnett. :)

I never hear anyone talk about the RY4. I have some of the flavoring. Any suggestions on what to add to it to make it something better? Madagascar Vanilla maybe, with a wee bit of butterscotch or caramel candy??

I should have vape mail today too, and it's been awhile. My MVP2 is due in today. It will be my first vv/vw device and I'm excited. Thinking of getting the smaller form factor Inokin ITaste vv/vw3 for stealth. Anyone have one? I like that they're ego size but square, and have the variable wattage too. Reviews seem to be good.

Hope everyone is having a good morning. I'm up way early since I was up til 7:30 am.....might have to power nap it today!!

I have some RY4 from Khala (hi Khala!), but I haven't cracked it open yet. I'll let you know my thoughts when I do, especially since I just happen to have some Vanilla Tobacco and Madagascar Vanilla coming, and I've got Butterscotch already. :D

Yay for MVP2s! A backup MVP2 is my first priority come tax return, but that's just me being cautious because I can't *imagine* being without mine now... but they are *beasts*, so I expect the one I've got to last a good long while. A vv3 is second on the list. :) Like Sam, I might as well change my name to Innokin.

I definitely prefer bottom coil tanks to any other kind. The less messing with wicks, the better... which means I really like the PT2 minis and the Aros. I like the ChiKrack even better, though. Pull out the cotton, dryburn the coil, stick some more cotton in there. I also haven't had any of the leaking issues some have reported, even when I fell asleep with it in my hand and woke up with it upside down on my chest.... not a drop spilled.

I still wouldn't take it out and about, though... the PT2/PT2 minis/Aros are more durable.

What exactly is the ChiKrack, and where did you purchase yours Sean? I think I want to get into RBA's. I'm wondering where to start and what would be easiest to learn on. TIA!!

SmokTech SID + Protank mini 2

ok then i'll make u a drink :>

coils last depending on what kind of juice you use and how often you vape. my coils didn't last more than 5 days until i got variable wattage. then they started to last longer. i have 13 tanks and 11 batteries in action. i only change the peanut butter and dulce de leche ones a lot, cuz i vape them the most. you can buy coils at MBV.

You're welcome pig, happy to help.

It's a clone of the Kraken RBA. I got mine from a friend, but he got it from 101vape, which has the best price (barring fasttech). I really, *really* like it. The link for 101vape's is here (it's out of stock right now) and you can watch a video of it here (Mark Todd is long-winded, like me, but I prefer his videos for checking out RBAs, because he does *really* nice camera work, so you can see everything up close.)

The Tobeco Kracken clone (which is the one 101vape sells) is virtually identical to the real thing; I've set my Chi-Krack next to a "real" Kraken, and I've vaped off both. I'll probably get a real Kraken at some point - I do prefer to support the original makers, and I'd love to have more than one of these beauties - but I won't have the "extra" $122 for quite a while.

Edited to add: If you don't want to buy a clone or don't want to wait for them to come back in stock, you might want to take a look at the AGA T2 (of which videos abound). One of those will be my next purchase, and they're at a good "entry level" price point.

My vote is for the KFL, Russian 91% or one of the clones. If you can recoil a Protank head, these are easier to work with. The trick is in the minute adjustments of the coil in relationship to the airflow hole. I prefer mine pretty close to the airflow whereas others like theirs further above it.

MBV sells the Russian 91% and it is a beauty.

What is that you don't like about the RY4 I think it's wonderful.

Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

I've never tried it to be honest with you. The lack of it's being mentioned except for a few dislikes is what I'm basing my statement on.....do you get strong vanilla and caramel undertones with it? I probably should have asked who has tried it and likes it.

I like the kayfun and the russian too (don't own them, but I've tried others') and I'll probably pick one up at some point, but I like having easier access to the coil for adjustments. Roonies, if you've recoiled protank heads (or similar) before, you'd be fine starting with the russian, but if you've never built a coil before, you might prefer having a top coil RBA to start off with... with the bottom coil RBAs, you have to disassemble it to get down to the coil, so making adjustments is a little more fiddly. With a top coil RBA, all you have to do is pull the top cap off to get to the coil.

those white ones are just vv's. all my new v3s are chameleon. most tanks look sleek on the white or the chrome, though.

the charger for your MVP2 will also charge a v3. you can get a v3, w/o a charger for $26 here. i got my last three there:

Lots of vendors have RY4 variants & none of them are the same. The only one I've tried was from another vendor & I enjoyed it. The vanilla/caramel is more of a slight to moderate sweetness, it shouldn't be too terribly strong.

Sorry about not multi quoting. I have a hard time leaving one page to add a quote from the next so you will just have to see a bunch of posts on one or two pages from me! So.....I am VERY excited for my MVP2 to arrive now! I never thought I'd buy another type of mod after getting the 2 Provaris, but I just can't help wanting to try new (to me) mods. It's for the zombie apocalypse so it's ok, right? :D

I have I think about 15 RYs at the moment and it is one of my favorites. I will say it is quite different than most RYs though.:2c:
