EVE is amazing. One of those games you have to find stuff to keep you immersed, and if you try and fly solo you are most likely going to die of boredom. Never played a game where the social aspect was the game. Awesome stuff, and the PVP is intense. I may re-sub one of these days.

I only have 2 of my subs active at the moment. I enjoy the massive brawls, no other game gives you PVP on that scale. I have an account that I fly solo on, it is actually the character I have the most fun with. No boredom, and I do well with it. :) I enjoy hunting the bears and FW nubs, they get so angry when they die. In 5 years some of the most rewarding aspects of the game are all solo and small gang.

I do look back fondly on my first super carrier and my first Titan. Those were "moments" for me, stupid POS ornaments.

Nope, not my stuff, guys. Just somebody with more money than sense's. That's gotta be almost $1000 worth of kit. Maybe more, I can't tell what some of those mods are.

Easily more, I'd say. Most of the attys I can make out are $150-200 a pop - that's not even counting the mods.

i heard a lot of good stuff about skyrim, but everyone always goes back to warcraft. that's my only game of choice. at first i was like "this game is stupid" then 5+ years later.. here i am still playing it lol. i tend to play at a pretty hardcore level, and would be even more "hardcore" if my work schedule allowed it, which it does not. ><

My kids all played WoW, I suffered through and played with them some but never serious. I just do not get the game, I thought I was going to like SWTOR but it lost me somewhere between level 20-25, don't remember. One of my daughters and one son still play WoW, although she mostly plays DotA2 or LOL now and he is too busy with military to play much.
I cut my teeth on Ultima, for me to get engrossed there needs to be actual consequence to PVP, I do not get :themepark: games.

and Skyrim is AWESOME, the entire Elder Scrolls series is very well done.

Skyrim on PC is fantastic. Mods make the game soooo much better. So does kb/m. Great game, although I wish it was a bit more like Morrowind in terms of actual RPG mechanics and difficulty.

I spy a Hammer!

Yeah, I want one too. :)

What I meant was playing it w/o interacting with other players. I met some great people in my EVE time. Was one of the first members of Brave Newbies Inc., me and my buddies ran the industrial side of things until we decided to split and form our own corp.. I absolutely LOVE 1v1 in EVE. No other game ever got my heart pumping like EVE. Roaming for fights in small gangs of cruisers and dessies was some of the most fun I've had in any game ever. Sounds like you've been playing a while.

Currently working my way though Skyrim, I am cheap so I waited for the steam sale for the game of the year edition with all the DLC included.

I typically do not care for single player games.

I play EVE Online where I am a notorious pirate, a spy in several organizations, and a general interstellar low life. It is a really fun space ship sandbox, enjoyable only if you like brutal PVP, the PVE aspects are shallow and rudimentary. It can be extremely frustrating at the lower levels in the game.

I play a few first person shooters from time to time, Mechwarrior Online sometimes, Hawken sometimes, a flight sim MMO sometimes, I did play World of Tanks some but got bored with it, the grind is strong at the higher levels. I am kinda looking forward to Elder Scrolls Online but will hold out on building any excitement for it.

I am playing League of Legends, one of the best game I've ever played. I got inspired to play this game because of this :
League of Legends Season 2 World Finals Opening Live - YouTube

I played World of Tanks too, it was fun at the first 2 weeks...and then I got bored... every game I do the same thing over and over again=.=

Skyrim is the best single player game for me, I played the Elder Scrolls Online beta, it was bad because the game wasn't finished lol. But I am looking forward to play the full version game ^_^

Look into Darkfall. It's heavy duty swords 'n sorcery PVP, a guy I played EVE with gushed about that game and just how hardcore the PVP was. I played LOL religiously for about a year and just burned OUT. I've gone back to my roots, I love tactics games and games that let me use my creative side. Minecraft and Terraria are absolutely amazing, especially the former. SO MANY HOURS spent with those two.

I'm so sorry Sean. I will be keeping your mother and your family in my thoughts. Sending love and light your way!

Thoughts appreciated for my mom/my family, guys and girls. Without going into too many gory details, I strongly suspect she is sick along the lines of what put her in the ICU for a month three years ago, but she's finding every excuse in the world not to go to the doctor (delaying for so long is what ended her up in ICU last time, but she doesn't see the logical flaw in her thinking). Can't drag her there myself, and calling 911 to force her to go would be even more scary because they're required to take her to the *nearest* hospital, which is the hospital that almost killed her last time.

So, I'm in for a long weekend of pleading, bargaining, begging, and praying.

I used to be addicted to warcraft so much so, it has pretty much burned me out for any computer games. I tried to regenerate my interest with LOTRO and Secret World .... but the fun just isn't there anymore.

I have been looking at Terraria and may even own it. I get gifted a lot of games from Steam friends. Brave Newbies are so fun to fight, I go over to Bar and hang out till I die, can easily go 20/30 to 1, unless I derp something. Or did I have not logged in over a month. I have been playing since 2008 steady. I played for a few months the year the game came out but was having some RL stuff and could not continue.

Most accounts subbed for me - 13 all but one were payed with ingame money. I sold some characters off the end of last year and condensed to 5 accounts. I sold a Titan off as well as 3 super carriers. I may play seriously again. I just needed a break from it I think.

One of the best aspects of EVE is tactics and creativity, all you are paying for in that game is a framework in which to entertain your self with a non ending supply of silly people to blow up.

why u stop T___T?

EVE. And the community in LOL could use a huge kick in the ..... But really, I just got bored with it. MOBAs are not for me.

My Steam account is ludicrous. I mainly play indies anymore. The whole indie renaissance on PC the past few years has been an exciting thing to watch and participate in. Most of the games I want to play right now are still in development. I've backed a few and scour both Greenlight games as well as Early Access stuff. In my mind, it's where all the good stuff is.

EVE is great in that 99% of the stuff in the game is player made. That still kinda blows my mind. And all that stuff is manufactured for the sole purpose of getting blown to space glitter in giant disco parties in the heavens. Amazing. My corp bugs me all the time to resub, I think I will here in the next month or two. I have a PLEX sitting on my main, even. :/

My current main PC at home was built specifically to be able to run all my accounts at max settings with no lag. So I could spy, while I PVPed, while I got richer, while I was spying.

4 monitors, Quad SLI, silly amounts of memory running on a Core i7 Extreme :)

Ok, you're hardcore. Haha. Sound like some of my corpmates. We had a guy that multi-boxed an entire ice mining fleet. Like 8 or 9 characters at a time.

I would gouge my eyes out, not anything against mining. I just always prefered to PVP, while I PVPed, while I ran a few market characters.

I did try the get rich making things scheme one time, I sold all my manufacturing characters and bought more market alts. ISK making is so much faster margin trading as opposed to actually building the stuff.

I looked at Starbound.

I am going to hold off on anymore game purchases till I can sit down at my desk and do more than play with my vape supplies for a few hours every night. I work 10 hour days, have a wife, have a second job, I have too little time these days and too many vape toys.
