Last time I checked, most of the kanthal on amazon was actually sold by Lightning Vapes.
Debated asking all the usual questions of our newest detractor, but MnLA put it far more eloquently than I could have at the moment. So I'll hold off until we see if he answers MnLA.
Amazing how fogged my brain has been over the past two days. Still run down, but many, many hours of sleep interspersed with half napping seems to have helped quite a bit.
For those of you who care - here's what the problem with my brain-fogged spreadsheet was (Thanks again, Oz, for providing me with the spreadsheet that led to the aha! That's where I've been an idiot! moment...):
No, brain-dead Khala, mg <> ml. This is basic math and basic chemistry. The nicotine is effectively dissolved in the base, not mixed in with the base as a separate part of the volume. So do not try to separate out the nicotine from the base in your spreadsheet, and then wonder why the math won't work.
I had a very serious *headdesk* moment when I realized why my numbers weren't working.
I'm not normally that out in lala land.
I am very happy I didn't try to actually do anything important yesterday. I might have managed to blow up the world.
So, on that note, I'm back at my desk, stealthing vanilla tobacco today and working on my first cup of java.
I really, really need to put in earplugs today. The ambient noise is annoying. All my heavy duty ones are in my travel vest, though, so here's hoping the noise cancelling ones work better than they usually do.
Minor Details.
As to that poster. I didn't see a question there so I just logged it as a complaint and moved on. I had to check and make sure my 6 year old daughter didn't post it because it sounded like her when she doesn't want to eat her vegetables.

I get paid for all the holidays, I just have to work them, it is the only time I make anything extra. Salaried=Exempt from extra monies. I might take tomorrow off instead of taking the extra pay though.
I work in management for 2 different contractors that work exclusively on government contracts
If you think your frustrated with Government employees try things from my side once or twice.
It can be rewarding though, to accomplish more, for 50% of what is costs the government to do. In 1/4 the time and still turn a profit and have happy employees.

...And my KFL coming from Germany is already in the county. Unfortunately I won't get it til tomorrow since I had to ship to my billing address (P.O. Box), but holy crap. 5x the distance + customs, almost 1/4 of the time, a touch cheaper (shipping included). Guess I'm not ordering them from the States anymore.
Not sure where you got that number, both of mine cost less than that including shipping.

Buying from eBay is just like buying from a B&M. You're adding another person to the chain who wants to get paid, so there's going to be a mark-up.

Thanks Uno ...... accidently took this thread in a direction neither I nor anyone wanted to go, and wasn't quite sure how to get the toothpaste back into the tube.
You can't contemplate the KFL or R91. Decide if that's what you want, stash some money aside for one & when 1 pops up, buy it. They're never in stock for very long.
I almost bought a R91, but I like the KFL just a teeny bit more... not for function, but aesthetics.
I'm kind of wondering if VapeRev is going to restock the Kayfun line with the pending California legislation. They know they can sell them, but if they get a shipment in & can't mail them out, they'll be limited to their B&M sales. That's a lot of money to have tied up in a product that may not move as quickly relying only a smaller, local customer base.
If you like the Russian, I'd bet James is working hard on getting some more in. Put some money aside, check daily, buy one & then spread the word he's got them.

Last time I checked the R91 was out of stock at MBV. I have several KF type RBAs. I have the original KF the KLF+ a KFL clone a KFL+ clone, the Russian, and the Russian 91%
Of all of them I prefer the R91, that is just my preferences though. I like having the side air flow control, I might switch juice here and there and I like being able to tune the draw in to get the juice feeding without having to take the atty off.
Some people like to set and forget do they do not mind taking the atty off to dial it in.
the KFL+ is in stock on the sm site. I bought all of my KFL+ direct, I bought the KF used from a guy here in town that melted the insulators subohming. Cost me 20$ and I bought replacement parts from SM direct
It all boils down to what you want. My KFL+ clones work "almost" as good as my KFL+ and R91s do.
I basically bought the KF clones to have an excuse to pass them on to my son. He is poor, I like having something to entice him with so me and my granddaughter can sit on the porch swing and watch him push mow my 1 acre front yard

Got me to browsing the SM site, I might need the Sticker, I can side by side my Semovar that I rarely use
The 91% and KFL+ are close enough in form/fashion/price that it really doesn't matter to me which one I get.
I only lean toward the KFL+ because of finish.
