Uno, how did your vanilla turn out? I am considering DIY for my b-day in march for the sole purpose of making a straight up sweet vanilla since the only vanilla that hits it for me is done by a vendor who only does limited runs of it. And I may need some help.

Awesome. I'm checking in tomorrow as I've been on leave for about a week and a half. Almost went in today and forgot it was MLK, so looks like tomorrow will be the day instead.

I like it up here. Despite the cold, It's a nice change from the fast pace of Los Angeles. Glad a recruiting tour is only 3 years as I think anything longer than that would make a man crazy. I still don't know how the NCs do it.
