i don't think i like max vg juices. they have a weird taste. i've tried 3 different vendors :(

Huh, weird. Could be their VG base, or you just don't like VG. I LOOOVE pure VG. So much so in fact that I can't stand the taste of PG anymore. I know many of the flavorings out there are PG based, but my old 50/50 addiction has swung into full VG adoration. I DIY primarily now, and have been getting my VG from RTS, so perhaps there's something to be said for their VG. But then again, I also get it from a local bakery/candy shop, and love that VG, too. It's thick and slightly sweet by itself, and that thickness and fullness can almost gag you a bit, but I've gotten used to it and prefer the mouth feel of VG to the throat hit of PG.

Wonderful world of vaping, there's something there for each of us, the hard part is finding what works for you. For me, it's a single-coil rda at around 1 ohm on a mech. I seriously never need anything else, but of course I will buy and try out other gear. It is a hobby, after all. :)

it's a weird taste. almost like a coolness on my tongue from it. i've tried max vg(uses some pg in flavors i assume), and 100% vg. ick.

I never made it that far. My 808's were 100PG, when I started getting juices I went from 70/30 & worked down. 60/40, 50/50 & 40/60 is where I ended up at. 40/60 is a little much for me.

i tried 3 very different vendors. i'm thinking its just VG in general. there's a weird taste/feeling i get in every high vg juice. no biggie, i'll just sell them or trade them and buy other juice :X

It's possible, but it hasn't happened since this thread was started almost 45000 posts ago...

Doesn't mean that it won't. Who knows round here. I voted, but I could really care less - I just voted for what I felt was the most logical thing to do. I'll check the thread wherever it ends up... provided this sort of drama doesn't last too much longer. It's getting old real quick.

LOL i dunno why i wanted to try max vg juices, but i did. they just are weird. i really like 50/50 juices, and seem to tolerate them well, so i guess i shouldnt' have tried to fix what wast' broken.

50/50 is my preference also. If I go to high with PG my chest feels heavy after awhile, too high with VG - no throat hit not as satisfying, but the vapor is amazing. I've stuck with 50/50 for quite a long time now. I have used a 20/80 a couple times and it was ok. (80% VG) 50/50 also seems like it's about the perfect consistency for bottom coil clearos also, not too thick and not too thin seems to wick perfectly.

Definitely sounds like you just don't like VG. I'm down to 3mg, which makes DIY a bit tricky as I have to add hardly any nic, and my juices have zero throat hit, but provide for enormous clouds. I'm no cloud chaser, but my preference for VG and dripping definitely puts me in 'cloud maker' territory. I love the silky smooth vape of pure VG, and it compliments the bakery, nut & spice, and fruit flavors I make very well. It's a bit weird with tobaccos, but I've learned to adjust my mixes to compensate.

Anyway, you might want to try a variety of blends. 50/50, 60/40, and so on. Sounds like what Oz did. I am the type of person who, if I want to change something up, I go to extremes. Perhaps it's my leisurely nature, I just want to cut to the chase and get on with it.

My 15 ml of Hawk Sauce bought on 1/1 is clear. My 256 ml of Hawk Sauce bought on 1/20 is yellow. That's weird.
If you were to pour out only 15ml of the 236ml bottle, I wonder if that 15ml would appear clear?? Sometimes smaller amounts of light colored liquids look clear...

The very last 5ml or so of my Hawk Sauce (born 11/18/13) is a very light yellow/green.

Wait. The last 5ml???!!!??? I have no clue how to even approach a DIY version, and I love this stuff. Also told myself I won't buy anything vape related this month, so I may be Hawkless any day now.

The horror. The HORROR! :(

nah. Clear is clear. My 3 or 4 ml left in the 15 ml bottle is totally clear.
I poured 30 ml of the 236 into a 30 ml bottle and it's still yellow.

That would be horrible . . . . I buy the flavoring from MBV for my DIY Hawk.

I mix my own 0nic juices for fun and they're just VG and Loranne's. Cloud city and they taste great.

I prefer the velvety cloud mouth feel over throat hit any day.

Amen, man. It's the only way to vape, in my mind. Can't see myself ever going back.

I really need to make some 0mg and just throw it into the rotation. My goal is to get off nicotine altogether. I feel I'm pretty close to being able to, I just need a kick in the hindquarters to do it. If I vape till my dieing day, I'm fine with that. I just don't want to be a slave to nicotine. Haven't for over a decade.

Yeah, can't believe I let it get so low. Hawk Sauce is good stuff, one of my favorite flavors from MBV. I will put some of the flavoring in my cart for my next order from MBV. My lady is getting dangerously low on Sticky Bun and I just know she's gonna need more in the next week or two.

Nice, diggy. I was scared to cut my intake, and at first I definitely chain vaped, but once you get accustomed to the low nic stuff, going lower is easy. I went from 6mg to 4mg and now 3 without blinking an eye. It's that jump to NO NICOTINE (!) that has me biting my nails.

I'm still at 6mg nicotine. I've been at 6mg for ages now it seems. I'm fine with staying at 6mg. It's a pretty low amount. I've found that now being at about 6 months removed from smoking tobacco I am not nearly as addicted to nicotine as I used to be. When I get busy I have the odd occasion when I go 2-3 hours without vaping at all. Those times are not that often I usually vape a lot more than that, but it does happen every once in awhile.

Anyone else have shipments coming via USPS and notice that their shipping info isn't updating for crap since 1/22? (I have 4 pieces of vape mail coming 1 from MBV, 2 from Madvapes (oops was supposed to be 1) and 1 from DV). The DV package is the one I am most anxious to get can't wait to try the new eMax Batts and ARO IIs.

I approach everything with a scientific mind. Pick one variable, alter it, test, repeat, change same variable, test, repeat... If you change multiple things or one thing too far, you don't really know for sure what's going on. You might get lucky & jump to the bulls-eye... or you could completely over shoot it on the other side. If you slowly work your towards it you know you can hit it.

I just went through a difficult delivery :)ohmy:) with USPS...it took them 2 1/2 weeks to deliver a vape mail package. I called customer service almost daily. I am currently waiting on a package that was "Out For Delivery" on the 19th. USPS is on my :censored: list at the moment...
