Exploration is half the fun. You'll notice that there aren't any top coil devices in the current use list, but I do have them. There is some great information here on ECF, which is great for learning. It's also tempting and seductive :D

Seductive indeed! Every time I read about a new device, I swear I see it turn in to some hunky guy flexing his muscles and giving me THE look. Good thing I have excellent self control.

*is glad nobody can see all the other pages open in her browser with pages full of all the cool looking mods, tanks, clearos, atomizers, etc.*

Who me? I'm a traitor to MBV today - been vaping Dorky Stud all day. I did place a big MBV order this morning though :)

And getting the courage to rebuild my EVODs - ordered the wick and kanthal today - a first step - yay! Now trying desperately to find that cool ohm meter that's sold out everywhere. Or, how can I use a normal multimeter ohm thing to check my rebuilt heads??

Sure, Set your volt meter to ohms settings and then take 1 probe and placec it on the outer threads of your atty and the other probe onto the inner center pin and meter will show you ohms of your coil.

First of all, you are allowed to order juice from more than one vendor and don't let anyone tell you differently :) Now, you can use a normal multimeter to check your heads. Set it to read ohms. Needle point leads will help here...touch the red lead to the center post (and only the center post) and the black lead to the threads.

We all know all too well what you are going through. I just advise reading as much about mods as you can...it's a tough and daunting decision at first, but realize you will likely end up with more than one and they can't all be favorites. Some will lose their allure to others. For all of the juice delivery/atty devices I would recommend buying one of several types instead of multiples of one type until you get a feel for what you like.

What are the probes? I don't have one yet - I read about aligator clips - is that what I could use? Sorry for my ignorance - I never took any techy classes in school (despite my username, lol).
Probes: multimeter-probes.jpgYou could use a clip for the threads. I just keep the probes on the multimeter, it's just as easy...

That's what I'm doing so far. I have a couple of carto tanks; because that's what I started out with. I just bought that mini vivi nova and I really like the flavor from it. I get aggravated with having to tilt it and prime it constantly though.

I've seen those delivery devices that use a metal wick? Do you know if they wick better?

And to take a stab at being on topic, my order from MBV will be here Monday. Small order this time. Big order next time. :) Can't wait to get in to the Swedish Lime again. I've been out of it for a while now.

I don't much care for the stainless steel mesh wicks and have tried them for a few months. I much prefer the ceramic wicks. They are easier to set up and deliver better flavor IMO. The SmokTech RSST has a bigger wick hole, and would be the easiest to start with (you wouldn't have to drill out the wick hole to accommodate the ceramic wick). The ceramics are fragile, though, so it might be way too frustrating to start with them. If you start with the stainless wicks, look for an inexpensive stainless steel genisis atomizer.

To keep it on topic, all of my MBV juices taste better with the ceramic wicks than with the stainless wicks. :toast:

Just a quick note on the Ocean Breeze. I said earlier that I didn't like it and that all I got was banana. Well, I just filled a tank with it after letting it sit for a couple more weeks and now I'm loving it! Definitely getting more pineapple now....very sweet....not sure of the other notes but I'm working on it. Very tropical!

I'm also eyeing the chocolate bar, or was it candy bar...???....I'd have to go look. Would love something with a good milk chocolate flavor to mix with others.

I haven't had the Candy Bar, mainly because I tried the Snickers first and decided there was no point. First time I vaped it, my reaction was "Yep, that's it." I literally said that out loud.

I get a nice balance of chocolate, peanuts, and caramel. My brain swears it's making me fat. Stupid brain.

If you get it, one-week steep is mandatory. I've got a buddy who DIY's the stuff and vapes it constantly (I trade my mixes with him for it because he keeps a huge bottle of it steeping at all times ). It was the flavor that brought him to MBV.

How much steep time? I have my 4 botles for a week now, they smell so good i just want to drink them, i give a try today on the strawberry shortcake, ouch perfumy alcohol after shave taste,, i want to vape that yummy smell that came out the bottle

Sent from my iVap using Tapatalk HD

Give the shortcake at least 2 or 3 weeks and it will taste just like it smelled. All the chemical taste will disappear. Very nice and smooth.

LOL, how do you know how many orders you placed?? I haven't kept track...

Um, I'm kind of all over the place :D 2 Evods, 3 T3s, 2 Carto tanks, 1 AGA (modified), 1 AGA-T2 (modified), 2 RSSTs, 1 IGO-L, 1 iclear 30...some cartos, some Vision Nanos...and then there are the devices not in service

EDIT: and also the devices in the vape mail system on the way to me... I might have an obsessive problem :D

On my phone the top right has account. Then on the left it says orders and its all there

i got my order yesterday... cinnamon roll is great right outta the mail.. taste very cinnamony with a little butter flavor. the caramel apple is really good too, tastes like real apples not candy apples.. you can almost taste the crispness. i really want to try the hawiian punch, but i just assume it needs to sit for a few days. my freebie was peach meltdown, which is a peach menthol.
