In the last year a plethora of atty's are available to convert to bottom feeders. Now might be the time to add some additional Rm's for us small atty users. I am a MTL single coil vaper who likes it that way, I don't want to go big and sub ohm but I may be forced to unless there are more options.

The Rm2 is a great atty and it is except some would say it is prone to breaking down, if it were stainless steel I would not be writing this thread. Please don't this wrong I love my LP Reo Grand/Rm2 vape, it is next to perfect for me, But I am not good at fixing things that might go wrong. Someone once recommended the Atomic\Rm4, but from what I understand it leaks so...

Are there any smaller atty's that are stainless steel, don't leak and have afc?

I've never owned an RM2, so I can't comment about it. But I have a couple RM4/Atomics. I still use them frequently. I build mine dual coil, but they can also be built single.
I agree though. I wish there were more smaller attys that can be built dual coil. Nuppins are great, but are no longer made. Every once in a while, you can find one on the Classifieds.

Yeah its sad with everyone following the trend with 22mm attys even with bottom fed devices gaining popularity

We don't need large 22mm to match tube mods. We can cheat the system and build 1ohm ish attys on a small 14-18mm atty for mtl hits and love the heat and flavor and vapor!

Someone needs to fill that gap in the market with new bad @$$ attys.

I agree, although my preference is dual coils. But unfortunately, the cloud chaser crowd, a lot of whom are using 22mm and larger tube mods, seem to be dictating the atty builders.
I thought JD Tech was onto something with the Manta, which is still my favorite atty. Top air, 2 posts, and even though it's technically a 22mm atty, the diameter of the chamber itself is only about 14.6mm, and it's domed at the top. It's an awesome atty for flavor chasers.
But JD quit making them, in order to pursue their next atty project: A whiz bang, super duper, competition cloud atty.

I too would love more choices, and my weird issue is just a OCD thing - I hate the way a 22 hangs over the deck of my Reo Grand and blocks the door from going up. LOL. So up to 20 mm would be good, really...

My faves for open air are Nuppin and Cyclone with AFC wide open.

For MTL, I'd say it's definitely worth looking for a deal on a Chalice or at least getting a Cyclone. Those were my favorites before I switched to wanting a lung-hit.

I also still have a collection of TINY little tight-draw atomizers. No AFC - you have to get the airhole where you want it. You can find them here and there now and then: Reactor, Divo, Hornet...

Yep - love the Graal. There are also some other European 14mm squonking atties:

Viper, Matrix, Speed, NoMoreFearAgain. They're all really good.

I'd also second the RM3 vote. It's a killer little atty for single or dual coils. The Cyclone (non-afc cap) is great and the Hornet deserves some mention.

I appreciate the idea of dialogue. That is sometimes how new things come to the R. of Research and Development. I've never had any problem with my RM2's "breaking down." (Which certainly doesn't mean that others haven't experienced it though). Do you know what the specifics are?

I also enjoy the RM3 in single mode. Ever bit as much flavor. Perhaps a teensy bit tinier juice hole that doesn't evacuate "leftover" juice as quickly as the 2 IMHO. The other 14, single, atty is the IGO-S. Rob used to carry it but I haven't seen it on the website lately. Both of these guys do not have ceramic decks.
