I've actually gotten more used to the looser draws, at first I didn't like it though.

I'm the same. I got used to genies over the years and found anything with a air intake bigger than 1.2mm too loose. Now the bigger air intakes are fine.
I'm also mainly a mesh user, I tried cotton for a while but prefer mesh even in my squonk atties.

Yeah my preferred was a dual stacked 1mm, now I'm even fine with something like the rose like this...

Been meaning to try mesh in my squankers, have you used it in an atty that drains almost completely? all of my bf'ers are like that.

Yes, mesh works especially well with the vertical coils that I use most of the time. I put a small blob of cotton at the bottom to act as a bridge for the juice.
I've used this method with the Origen tiny and my favourite but little known BF Desmo.

I'm trying to picture your Tiny build and can't see it..you need a bed of cotton for the juice feed thru the tubies right? So you just rest a horizontal mesh tube on that?

The Tiny is great because you really can crank the draw down!! Love it!

Sorry, my post was a bit misleading (that's why I don't post much lol). I meant to say that I use mesh in the tiny and vertical mesh in the Desmo (all 5 of them).
The Sofia exceeded my expectations and it looks so good in the cage tank.
I dabbled with carto's years ago but didn't really like them but the Sofia and the in'ax carto are on a different level IMO.

I think it's a bit sad that all the premium, smaller and older manufacturers of MTL tanks, have fallen so back nowadays.

Imeo still make atomisers with metal or plastic bodies, still not the easiest tank to fill and insists on that rotating juice control, which you shouldn't need if you've designed a good atomiser.
The Origen Tiny Tank was one of my favourite tanks but it was a pain the ... to fill and came with a plastic body. Norbert then came out with the 19/22, which is too tall imho, still plastic body and not as good flavour as the tiny tank.
The Rose 3 was is very good but I get condensation, leaking from the AFC and bottom of the 510 like I did with the V2.

On the other hand, the Digiflavor Siren is an awesome MTL tank, pretty much flawless. It's made in China, with really good build quality and it costs only 30 dollars...

My mesh is slightly bent downwards on the ends and I only use a small piece of cotton on one end.
I only get a few puffs from each squonk but if I use too much cotton I find that it over saturates the wick.
ahhh, you are talking about the origen little dripper not the tiny tank thing!! all clear...sorry bud!!

With top fill, a JF control is a good idea. The Rose 3 is prone to a bit of seepage but I just keep the JF only slightly opne and no problem but it is a potantial PITA must admit! I dont really care about plastic tanks. I dont vape anything that would cause a problem. the new Ultem tanks are pretty resistant (if you can put up with the colour lol). The RDTA idea isnt really prone to any of the issues of a normal negative pressure RTA and so is easier to design and execute. Tip it upside down though and its a problem...The digi looks pretty cool and does a very good job of marrying both approaches. I must try one i think!!!!

I'm the opposite, I need juice control bc I fly a lot, the Tilemahos and taifun are the only two atomizers that don't leak all over the place. I haven't had any leakage from my rose 3, maybe an o-ring? Have you tried replacing the the one under the collar and on the deck?

I just ordered a Kayfun mini V3 clone from 3F Vape in China, 15 bucks shipped. You can also get from fasttech but they don't appear to have the SV logo on them and they cost more. I have a KF plus V2 clone (nice MTL but not top fill like the V3 & 5. Also have an SXK KF mini V5 very well made but just a little too airy for my taste, and the reducer inserts you can buy for a tighter fit don't fit it.
Have a few authentic km3 and my wife was kind of interested. She usually vapes a nautilus mini and I figured I would buy her a km3 clone first and if she really liked it, I would then buy her a real one. Anyways I bought 2 km3 clones from 3 f vapes and both were bad. One, whatever I did I couldn't get a connection and the other one , no matter how tight you closed off the JC, it wouldn't totally close, so it leaked on every fill. Hopefully you will get a good one because they are a great tank.

Sometimes I really miss mesh. Spent many years with a DID, then an ac9, then bought a cheap one , the rsst, which was really good. I then got into the ceramic rods which were awesome as well. I moved away from mesh about 4 years ago when the kayfun lite came out and although I have done a few mesh builds in a few non genny rtas, I have pretty much been a rayon guy. I would like to try one of the newer genny tanks , just to see how they are.

I did some time with gennies - kraken, Temon D16, MCR 303 etc etc. Even had a 2nd batch nahual for a while (and swapped it to my eternal regret)! Grabbed an In'ax Mk3 and a Nextgen and boom - that was it as far as old-style setups was concerned but i'm too lazy to mess around with mesh these days...

Not surprising. I bought the sxk mini for my gf's authentic, to nano-size it and to have a cheap source of spare parts. Except about half the parts don't even fit, on the deck the neg screw won't go all the way down and the positive post wasnt in it, it came in the bag but when I tried to put it in it won't fit at all. Its a good thing all she needed was the upper part, but she won't be able to make an extra kayfun bc the rest of it is a paperweight.

On the other hand I bought the mini sxk taifun gt3 to do the same thing for my authentic taifun gt3, (mini-size it). on that one the quality is 10x better than the kayfun and all the parts fit, but in my personal opinion the taifun gt3 is a much simpler and better designed tank, though my gf would probably disagree with me on that

But it is imo easier for mtl'ing, all you have to do is unscrew the base and slide in the peek inserts, I have one in now and they go from a slightly restricted lung hit to a fully restricted mtl with the AFC open all the way.
Thanks I'll put the gt3 on my list if the KF V3 mini doesn't work out. I think my SXK KF mini is an excellent tank other than the airier airflow, well machine has the SV logo and no leaks.
