Umm, yeah... I have a few clearos going....

Like others I often have several going at a time and do reuse some for flavors other then were in them before without rinsing/cleaning - but only if I am staying to a similar flavor. Nothing will taste worse to me then mixing in a nice fruit flavor into a clearo whose wick is soaked with a tobacco or coffee flavor.

Cherry, like other fruit flavors need a longer steep time then some other flavors. If you order fresh mixed its very possible that just shiping time and handling during that has been enough to age many flavors so they vape fine out of the mail - which can lull one into thinking that goes for their whole order, while a fruit based flavor may very well need a week to 10 days more (depending on the length it was in the mail to you) before it does taste like anything but cough syrup or just unmitigated crap.

I mainly use CE% and tanks I can disassemble and rinse and clean well and change the head and wicks when I need to. You can use the cheaper CE4's and designate one for a certain type of flavors and nther to other similar flavors and so on. These can be rinsed and dry burned (if needed) to extend life for a bit too but once the head is hot they are disposable as you cannot swap out the head in them.

You said you had been vaping with the clearo for about two weeks. That is certainly enough, especially with a tobacco flavor, to have built us a good bit of gunk on the coil that needs to be dry burned to remove it(or head replaced) as that gunk trying to burn off while you are vaping will definitely ruin the flavor of a e-juice.

I am certainly not one with an ADV and am not chasing one because I know I just don't want to vape the same flavor all day. I like different flavors around meal times as between, different ones with different activities activities or different ones to relax, and I have ones I prefer first thing in the morning and others for late at night.

That does not mean I have 10 tanks fill that I am alternating through a day but, as I said I usually have one going for a tobacco/coffee flavor I am in the mood for, one for other flavors of the day and perhaps a third for another set of flavors.

Two weeks is early on in the vaping experience and as you come to know more about what you like and don't like and what works best for you, how hardware works and handling it and more about flavors the adjustment gets much easier.

Keeping options open such as the availability of a few flavors to alternate you might find helps you keep from alternating back to analogs for a flavor change, just as you might even want different nic levels for different times during the day.

And asking like you have and hearing what others do and their experience and just reading what people have posted to other questions - as well as following a few vapers on video blogs can really help make it easier too.

I got my Hot Vapes CE5 torpedo about 2 weeks ago. I didn't really like the first flavor I had (555 lite), so I kept smoking analogs. I used my ecig every once in awhile and finally drained the 555. I also purchased a cherry flavor, and to me it tasted like cough syrup. So I didn't want to waste the juice, so I was stuck vaping the cough syrup flavor until it was gone. So my question is, do you have multiple clearomizers filled with different juices and just vape what you want? I am not sure if that would even work...would it? LOL I need help, Please!

I have 2 Protanks, 2 iClear 16's pretty much in full rotation most of the time, some cartos, a few mini tanks, one DCT Carto for good measure....yea, I be OCD'n..

I have 2 Pro Tanks, 6 CE5s, 3 Vivi Minis. I usually have at least 3 filled with different juices but tend to vape one flavor for a day or so and then change.

Hopefully I can answer your question about the case, Daniel Kelly without making things too confusing.

Here is the case I bought from Joanne crafts:

Keep N' Carry Artist Set - Watercolor Pencils & paint & paint sets at Joann.com

The right-hand side of the case is as it was out of the package. There are two long elastic bands that are segmented into 5 individual slot/loops and two small loops as the bottom (where the Q-Tips are). The left hand side just had two long elastic bands that spanned the width of the case. I sewed up the bands to make multiple slot/loops in the two existing bands and also sewed in another elastic band to make a third row. I hope that wasn't too incoherent

Let me know if you have additional questions, I'm happy to try and answer them. I know how hard it's been for me to find just the right carrying case, so if I can make it easier for someone else I'm happy to do it :)

I do. In fact, I have seven in rotation right now.

I dunno Hot Vapes but looking at their web site, it's just eGo style batteries and clearos. So you should be able to pick up more clearos and fill 'em however you want. They just screw off and on the batteries. I actually switched in the middle of typing this post. Got bored with the banana flavor I was vaping. :)

Looking at what HV offers, I see they're talking 1.8 ohm heads. That might run kinda hot on you. You may want to think about variable voltage batteries. I see they offer the Twist. I use those myself. Being able to adjust the voltage can make a big difference in the taste of a juice. And 1.8 ohm heads? That strikes me as something that would run kinda "hot". I use 2.4 ohm myself. You might want to try switching the heads also.

By the way, I didn't quit smoking entirely at first either. It can take some time getting a set up that works really well for you. If you smoke some at first, big deal. I decided not to worry long as I was smoking less. Eventually, as I got settled in with vaping and found juices I liked and a kit that worked for me, I just lost interest in cigs. But it didn't happen overnight. Some folks, they walk away first day they vape. Some of us take a little longer.

So I have noticed a few of you have mentioned cartos. What's the difference between that and clearos?

A carto has a spongy looking kind of polyfill that holds the juice like this:

While a clearo is like a little tank with wicks. Something like this:

ce5-2.jpg

Clearos can hold more liquid generally but the taste can be different. I moved to mostly clearos but have cartos around for a couple of juices that just taste better in a carto for whatever reasons.

I got 14 egos set up with 14 clearos...more filled clearos in a box and more egos on the way. I have them all sitting up straight in a grid thing I got a the dollar store. When I go somewhere, I put 3 or 4 setups in my zippered little bag along with some juice refills, and I am good. A little obsessive, but GOOD. I think it stems from starting with the Blu and always having to charge batteries...

I have three clearos going at any one time with three different flavors. I suggest you get some sampler assortments of different juice flavors to try, 3ml or 5ml bottles. Flavors include "tobacco" (though no e-juice can duplicate the taste of burning tobacco), menthol, fruit, bakery, and weird. Try some of every category; you may be surprised at what you like and don't like, because it doesn't necessarily correlate to what foods or drinks you like! (I don't drink soda, but cola is my favorite juice...)

Interesting to hear about the flavors. I'm new to vaping & just quit smoking so I been sticking to trying tobacco flavors. Altho I got a sample of double espresso and wasnt too sure of it but mixed with VR4 I've been vaping with it all day.

I might branch out & try food flavors eventually.

I currently have 3 clearomizers going (non replacable wicks). ordered a vivi nova & clearomizer that I can replace coil/wick. I sense a couple or a few wont be enough. working from home makes it easy to have a full line up sitting in front of me at my desk :)

And true to who said its like Lays chips! :toast:
