Hi all, new member here. I have been trying to vape for six weeks with zero results. First I placed an order from a Chinese vendor. The mini I purchased worked for exactly five puffs. So, I decided to try an USA vendor that was well regarded by this Forum's members. I went with a Super Ego-t. One of the two batteries was DOA as well as one of the atty's. Okay, so i'm happy I've got one to work.......errr no. Compared to a friends model, ( same exact model from same vendor ) mine produces half the vapor. I just want to get started. I've read info here on this Forum until my head exploded. I'm doing things right, it's the equipment that is shoddy. I've spent $120 USD and got nothing that works as advertised. Can anyone recommend a reliable vendor and a model that's known for it's reliability?

I agree with Mikey. A Silver Bullet won't peter out or die on you. Ever. If you are currently on more of a fixed budget, you can try an Ego C Twist, which is a good starter into variable voltage, and you can crank up the vapes with it for under $30. It's advisable to make sure it's a genuine Joyetech, however. I had four ego types that apparently were not Joyetech branded, and two of them crapped out on me within a month.

The eGo-T is a great PV BUT the "tank" system that comes with it is outdated. 9 times out of ten the issue is with the delivery device (carto, atty, clearo, etc). I would suggest you try the Mini Vivi Nova rebuildable.
Here's the best price I could find and comes with 3 replaceable heads.
Bottom of page- choose either 2.0 ml or 3.5 ml...2.0 looks better on eGo- $8.95

Welcome! I second the nova. I own 9 all together and they work really good. When the coil/head goes out you just have to replace that one part.

Or if your a diy type. You can get wicks and wire and rewick the atty.

I had some initial trouble with my ego twist but is was my bad. Didn't know they had a safety feature and when you hit the button 5 time real quick it shut off.
Welcome to ECF and it will settle down. Seems like in my case it was just the learning curve . LOL
I now have 1 vivi nova will order more, clearo rebuildable, an ego c that i use to test new flavors and ego twist 1000mah, big passthrough, and a provari. I'm settleing in now and loving it.
Sorry for the bad experience. Some of the asian sellers are a problem from what i have heard. stay away from alibaba. they are like knockoff central.
This is my :2c: worth.
Hope it helps. here are a couple of things I found useful.

After you have used reasonable resources and efforts to resolve the issue with the vendor, and given them reasonable time to respond, there is a thread to post your negative experience that may help - Reviews of Suppliers - Negative
Good luck!
