I think the OP was trying to tell us that they own some nice audio gear and would have NEVER smoked around it before...but now vaping has allowed the pleasure of chilling out around expensive gear without smoke and tar damage to the electronics. Right?
I can appreciate that.... I have some good gear feom the 60's &70's in my house and used to hate having to go outside to smoke in the middle of an album. Right now I have a clean & powerful Marantz receiver running a pair of vintage JBL Century L100's running in my entertainment center. I have several really great vintage turntables too, including a couple of Dual United Audio tables, Technics, and Pioneer as well. About 1000 LP albums on a custom rack, Reel 2 Reel decks, vintage cassette decks with built in mixers, CD recorder, Minidisc, lots of goodies!

I listen to my baseball games on a "The Fisher" tube console set, with big Jensen AlNiCo speakers and it BOOMS the whole neighborhood.

no more worries about tar and smoke in my boards!
