Dan,

I've used these. They work pretty well. Not sure what kind of connector it uses though. It is kind of like a GoGo connection.

They would make decent starter kits. Is joyetech regulating price?

Dav

Oh, also... the bottom battery cap is wonky. That's the best I can say. Wonky.

Ok....So this:
View attachment 112280

Is the Hypermiser SRT(self rebuildable tank), and not the Bionic Phoenix...Ok understood.
Still, when the masses gets wind of this, they will sell out in no time. So were all counting on GV to place a mighty big order in order to satisfy my, mighty big order, so the rest will have a shot at them...

Yep,me too also

Dan,
I know you said it will telescope up and down to fit any battey but I think people are wondering if it will telescope right off. What's keeping the top telescoping piece on. Or did I just misread it.

Yep, misread the other posters. I thought they were. Talking about the telescoping part not the button

There’s a few other masters out there who drop in here sometimes, check out this Masterpiece: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ox-metal-heads-back-stock-19.html#post5618740 , Billy has been building them for over a year, just got around to sharing the drawings publically here. we all know who the real masters are they are just doing it and not whining about who “stole” their ideas.

I’m thinking our friends at GV saw those drawings long before we did  , that’s the way Billy [and Dan] work, wise (and thankfully STILL young enough) enough to teach us young’ns without asking for the credit.

OK enough of the gushy fan boy stuff Charlie becouse you've been stuck up here for over a month on this rig, I'll man up

Agreed! I don't know him, but I was looking at some of his posts today, and being an IT guy I really love learning the technical part of this stuff so I'm happy he's here! :)

Your sure right kwcharlie:
There is so much talent in this forum. Being a noob, I have devoted countless hours reading threads and have only scratched the surface of the wealth of info. You just have to admire Billy's work. IMO, mind you, Its obvious where China is getting all the ideas. Look at the recent released SmokTech V-Max..Come on now, who are we kidding here. Its a double edge sword, and a very diificult call to make.

American and/or European genius designs and builds it and sells it. Problem is, they cant manufacture them fast enough to meet demand. Always sold out within minutes of going live. They are also costly. Rightfully so, for a handcrafted piece of art work.

Now we have the Chinese. They take these designs, tool up, and MASS produce them. Usually with much cheaper material. The good news for the vast majority of us is ,you can actually own one.

Case in point: I recently scored a P+18650 from Super T. It took me MONTHS of tracking Super T's forum to catch one.
Yeah, it was pricey, but I will cherish it even more. I will never do that with 99.9% of the other vaping supplies I want or need.

So I have to ask myself, which side of the fence do I straddle? Handmade American/European stuff thats near impossible to get, or readily available Chinese knockoffs made by the trainload?

Can't love em', cant hate em' either....

It uses threading to lock in....

Not sure on the 10440 but see my post above...I imagine the 10440 might just have the centering issue you speak of...speaking of the 10440, Joyetech is making a new battery that uses a 360mah 10440, they are callign eCab but they are marrying it to an ego-c style atomizer which we don't entirely promote here at GotVapes although we do sell ego-c kits. If anyone thinks you might be interested in this, let us know, and we'll get some:

I have a review of this coming out over the weekend.

I really liked it...perfect for me as a back up incase my main vape is out of power.

One thing that may turn people off: I had issues with juice coming up through the mouth piece. I altered it and minimized the issue...but it is still there.

Overall...I decided it was an issue I could live with strictly because I loved the size and the look of it.

humm now if that had a 510 connection i'd be lookin... based on the size of a 10440 (AAA) battery it should be roughly the same diameter as the stingray/karma/vision regular
my karma has mostly replaced my stingrays as my goto battery and if it had exchangeable batteries like that ... ....

I have to agree with Harmonic:
I groove on the sleek 10440 Batt tube, but if it doesnt have a 510 connection up top, I would have to pass...
Never did like the eGo C atty/tank setup myself...

I can see a Phoenix Xl lookin' just sweet as can be, ontop of it though:2cool:

IF they had 510 threading, or a least a 510 adapter available, that would be super. You know, something small to screw a Pheonix on.:)

Man, you guys were not exaggerating one bit. Freaking B52's overhead.
